I walk to the bus stop to see Jonathan, a guy that's been in my class since Pre-K. I'm pretty much a ghost to everyone I was labeled weird since day one. Everyone ignores me, even teachers. I used to talk to people no one else could see... I don't know why no one else could see the gingered haired man... I think his name was Mephistopheles. Right back to where I was. I've had a crush on him for the longest time. Then I see this new kid staring at him, as soon as Jonathan turns to look the new kid looks away. Jonathan glares at him. I tilt my head at the new guy. He notices me smiles and waves. I awkwardly wave back. Jonathan glances in our direction then the bus pulls up. I get on first and see Mephistopheles in one of the seats I walk over and sit in the empty seat next to him. He glances at me and smiles not knowing I can see him. I look to the front of the bus to see the new kid's body through the floor of the bus.My eyes widen and Mephistopheles notices this and remembers me "Ah... Mei is it?" 

"Oh you remember me now you see?"

"How could I forget the crazy little girl?"

"Don't f*cking call me that..."

"And why not?"

"I have a question..." I say changing the subject.

"And what is that?"

"Who's the new guy?"

"Oh him, his name is Sock... your falling for him already?"

"You know I like some one else..."

"Right, how's that going by the way? Oh wait i forgot you still haven't told him!"

"Yeah Yeah, F*ck you!"

"Oh Feisty ~!" 

"Oh here he comes..." I say sighing.

"Hey kid!" Mephistopheles says smiling. 

"Why is he ignoring me?" Sock says as I stifle a laugh.

"Uh... 'cause he's a disillusioned of humanity? I mean He's a teenager..."

"Can he see me?"

"He can, they can't." I clear my throat. "And her."

"Can they see you?" Sock asks. 

"I can~." I say

"Him? Nope!"

"Can he here us?"

"He can hear you! You're talking to yourself."

"Wha-?" Sock turns around as Mephistopheles leaves.

"Nuh-uh! He's wearing headphones!" Sock turn to see him gone but sees me with a smile on my face waving. He looks towards Jonathan then looks at the ceiling. 

~Time skip to 4th period~

Sock tries to see what Jonathan is doing then knocks over the desk next to him. 

"Jonathan!" The teacher says getting him in trouble, Making me stifle a chuckle.

~Time skip to lunch~

While I was looking for a lunch table I watch Sock get rejected by Jonathan, Because i was watching i didn't notice the senior coming to push me.

"Oof!" I land face first into my lunch as I fall. I look behind me to see a few seniors high-fiving the guy who pushed me.

He turned towards me and said "Why don't you cry to your imaginary friends about it!" I roll my eyes, get up, throw out what's left of my lunch, and head to the girls restroom to clean my face. 

Sock pokes his head in through the door and asks  "Are you decent?"

"Yeah Sock I'm decent..." I say noticing the bathroom is empty except us two.

"How do you know my name?" Sock asked confused.

"Mephistopheles told me..."

"Oh... yeah... You were that girl at the bus stop!"

"Yeah..."

"Why were they making fun of you?"

 "You know how only I could see Mephistopheles?"

"Besides me? Yes."

"Well, I used to be friends with him when I was a 6 years old... I called weird girl for 2 reasons you and him are one and the other I'm not gonna show you. Right anyway, people thought I was crazy because I was the only one that could see what I called the 'ginger-haired man'."

"Oh but now i want to know the second reason..."

"Fine..." I move my hair away from the eye it was covering. Underneath was my pink colored eye, i always only showed my red eye until one day my mom tied my hair in braids..."

*bell rings*

"I have to annoy Jonathan but before I go, What's your name?" 

"My name? It's Mei..."

'Maybe I'll finally have a friend...'
