I looked over to ________" ahh my big brother remembers me." I went into my jacket to search for my gun but it was there.

" don't look at me like that... We were so close back then weren't we zero." ichiru laughed a little and aim the gun at me

Yuukis P. O. V

I was walking by myself remembering what happened with Maria and I. We made a deal of how I can save zero, I'm the only one who can save him. I went to go to zero's dorm room , as I knocked the door there was no answer and so I went inside and zero wasn't there.

Zeros P.O.V

" you look awfully pale..Zero. How unsightly, they had high hopes for you back then, now... You can barely resist the beast within you.. In time, you will lose all sense of yourself and completely fall into a level E. " ichiru said

" is that all you wanted to say " I looked at him upset 

" not quite, it's been years since I've seen my other half so I think it will be nice to have a long chat." Ichiru smirked " don't you want to know, about that night" I remember that night when shizuka bit me laying me down beside her while I was in pain hearing  ichiru calling out her name 

" maybe you've known this all along.. Zero , what grown inside my heart was a deep darkness... Thank you, for being nice to me, to the point of hating you" ichiru said putting the gun down next to me

" ichiru "

" I know you pity me , you still don't understand do you? What it is like being born as a twin, always being compared, you can't imagined what it feels like to not be unwanted..."

" still...why that women "

" huh, I wonder why.... Well you see I slowly realized that our parents have become people that I didn't care for, and you... Zero.. My favorite.. Well I always hated you! " he gave out his hatred eyes" By the way you should thank me, I was the one who asked shizuka to keep you and ______ alive.

I grabbed my gun and stood up " so you can see me suffer ? And then kill me by your own hands?"

" exactly, did you suffer having your own fate twisted by shizuka, have you suffered as much as I? Shizuka change my fate too, all the purebloods are god like of there powers"

I was angry and pulled him towards me " you think that women's god like ?!"

" I'm afraid you don't know anything about shizuka at all she made a promise to me and kept it, she promised to make me healthy and so she did "

 " ichiru" ______ said getting up slowly 

" looks like my dear sister is ready to talk"

" yeah" _____ looked at him with hatred eyes 

" why don't you tell zero what really happened to you ? That secret that you kept hidden since the incident or rather before the incident " he smirked

I look at the _____ and said confused " secret ?"

She sigh " it's true... But not everything.."______ look at ichiru upset " why did you do this ? Why did you want to make zero suffer and me? Can't you see what kind of monster you are ?" 

" because so he can know what it feels like to be born as a twin,but you, you were just in the way. I had to find a way to get rid of you" 

" I... Just can't believe you would do this... You made me suffered, this is why I can never believe anyone's words especially you Ichiru.. You told me that you loved me ?" She got up and  moved closer to him" ichiru, zero and I care for you, even your parents, they love you, master as well."

" you really don't understand anything!" Ichiru pulled his katana sword and tried to strike me but zero blocked it seeing him in pain falling down to his knees

" haha I see, your falling into a level E" Ichiry laughed "I won't kill you , I think I'll just let you suffer instead , seeing him slowly becoming a beast"  ichiru said about to leave until Master showed up behind the door open

" zero!" Master looked at ichiru in shocked " ichiru..."

" it's been a long time master" He smirked 

" zero! " master went to help zero

" oh, right your only real student was zero,but I'm not the same person I was"

" ichiru stop this " I said breathing heavily 

" why won't you fight ?" he raised his voice 

" regardless of what your saying I always thought of you as my student" Master said and Ichiru   attacked master but zero blocked him causing ichiru to fall and the sword flying up in the air.

Crap!

 I ran protecting zero having the katana slice through between my chest and shoulder coughing out a little bit of blood 

" ______!!" zero yelled 

" haha.. look who's protecting who" I gave him a smile. He help me up and pulled the sword out of me leaving blood on the sword. I fell down on Zero feeling the pain and the blood I lost dripping down my injured shoulder 

Ichiru picked up the bloody sword and put it away " so dramatic " he said those words and left

" ichiru!! " I hold onto the injury getting up and tried to run after him " ________ no!" I hit the wall and heard the door open, it was the headmaster

" _____! Are you ok ?" he said worried and try to help but I pushed him away 

" I'm fine just leave me alone " I walked away heading to the ball room

 I opened the door and saw everyone looking at me. I was breathing heavily and I went to the storage room hearing yuki and zero come inside and closed the door " what happened " yuki looked upset

" it's nothing, have you seen that transfer student anywhere ?" I said

" you don't look like your okay.. here take my blood!" She said undoing her too 

" NO! " 

" ______" she looked at me 

" I said no!" My eyes turned crimson red " I'm not like those things! Treating me like I'm one of them. Pathetic " I said and left the storage room

I took off my uniform and fix up my wound trying to stitch it up

* knock Knock*

  I heard the door open and it was zero staring at my stitched up wound as I put my top back on and left the dorm 

" ________" headmaster said " where are you going that's not the way to the ball room "

" huh " I stop and turn to him

" I need to have a word with you" he looked at my serious " I really need you to be on your toes tonight while guarding the ball okay? "

" whatever " I sigh 

" I'm serious, that's an order from the head master.. you will be guarding with zero and yuki and-"

Zero grabbed my hand and took me away from headmaster

" don't forget to get dressed !!" Headmaster yelled

" but I don't have anything to wear..." I mumbled

Zero to me back to the dorm room and went inside and gave me a box " I wanted to give this to you, but there was never a perfect time" I accepted the gift 

" I'll be waiting outside " zero said and left the dorm room

I opened the gift and it was a white dress, down to where my thighs with black heels and a bow on the back.

He's too kind..

 I put it on  and went to look through the mirror 

I look ridiculous...

I left the dorm and headed to the ball room wearing my white patrolling badge around my waist.

There was a lot of people with dresses and there partners with there smiled and so. 

Why did I participated in this 

I saw zero and headmaster outside getting everyone inside the ball room as I saw yuki wearing a dress. zero saw me and his eyes widened I looked away feeling a little embarrassed, yuki took zero's hand and took him inside the ball room to dance. 

" hello there ______" you look beautiful said the headmaster 

" Thanks " I said holding onto my shoulder 

" Make sure you get that checked out" He said pointed out my arm 

I sigh and went inside the ball room patrolling 

" Hey" I turned to see it was Zero

" hey " 

" you look nice " he said

" thanks" I smiled "you do too but your missing something"

" and that is ?"

I went up to him and put a red rose clip on his uniform pocket jacket " a rose..." I said "
now your an actual gentle men "

"Um.. excuse me" A girl with glasses came up 

Zero looked at her

" um well... I just want to thank you for saving me... Um well... It ok that we can dance or we can talk..." She said shyly

Zero closed his eyes " I'm sorry... But I can't dance and I'm busy excuse me " zero walked away and grabbed my hand 

" whoa! I'm really sorry " I said being pulled away " that wasn't nice you know " 

" I rather be selfish with you " he said as my eyes widened 

I stopped him and held his hand

"_______ " he said softly 

I grabbed his hand and put it on my waist while holding the other hand " what are you doing? " he asked 

"I though it will be nice to dance together.." I said 

" I don't know how to dance, except when we were little, you were teaching me how" 

" Then let's try and finish where we started " I smiled and started dancing listening to the music that was being played 

 " I don't get it" he sigh 

"huh?" I looked at him confused

how can you keep on smiling like That" he looked at me sadly 

" I just... Want you to smile too zero. I don't want anyone to worry about me " I sigh " I just want-" Zero pulled me and hugged me" 

" why must you sacrifice everything for yourself" he said hearing his voice breaking 

I looked away " we should head back and find yuki "

"  you don't sense that ?" I said

I ran out to open the door feeling something bad was going to happen" shizuka !!!" I yelled pulling out my gun " what are you doing here and let yuki go !"
