Part 15

"Morning." I lazily walked into the kitchen/lounge.
"Morning." Everybody said.
"I just spent all night catching up on Stranger Things, tell me never to do it again. I'm so tired." I rested my head in my hands.
"Here, try some of the breakfast I made." Tony held a spoon out to my mouth.
"What is it?"
"Just oatmeal with blueberries." He shrugged, I opened my mouth and quickly spat it out. The team erupted in laughter.
"What the hell was that?!" I quickly got some water.
"Some Asgardian food Thor dropped of this morning. We are not ever sure if we can't eat it." Tony said.
"Prick." I looked at him slyly.
"Anybody wanna go on a run this morning?" Steve asked.
"I will, I need fresh air." I offered.

I got ready and started running with Steve.
"I feel like we haven't seen each other in like forever Tara." Steve said.
"I know, it's like ever since Bucky came back we've got a bit distant."
"So what's new?" He asked.
"Well you know what happened with Loki and how that ended. Um, yesterday I nearly turned into Mother Nature." Suddenly he stopped.
"Tara, are you serious? Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't think it was necessary."
"Are you kidding me?! Tara, princess. Please don't hesitate to come for my help." He hugged me tightly, I smiled.
"Thank you Steve." We paused. "Race you to the Station." I said quickly and ran off, Steve following behind.
"She will never grow up." He laughed.

Tony's POV
"Guys we need to talk about Tara."
"What about her?" Nat asked.
"Well yesterday, her and I were in here and she was freaking out about how Loki got in her head. Then I told her to go down to Bruce and she nearly went full Mother Nature. And that ain't pretty." I crossed my arms.
"If Loki's the issue, why don't we just kill him?" Clint said blankly.
"We can't just kill him, suffering is better." I announced. "I'll get Thor to take Loki back to Asgard and lock him away. For good." I stated.

Your POV
"I won." I said out of breath. "Steve?"
"You're five minutes late." Steve walked besides me. "Where did you go?" I had my hands on my knees.
"No need to show off." I flicked him with my hand. "Wanna get a coffee?" I stood up straight. He nodded.

Steve and I sat down on the lounge sofas in the coffee bar.
"So, what's new with you then Cap?" I asked him sipping my coffee.
"Not much if I'm honest, Peggy's doing well. Well, I think." He looked outside the window.
"Steve she'll be fine. I promise." I smiled at him.
"I know it's just not nice seeing her laying in a hospital bed with wires coming out of her." He rested his hand to his mouth.
"They're just trying to make her better. What's up with her again?"
"Alzheimer's disease." He looked up.
"I'm so sorry Steve." My phone buzzed.

"Tara speaking." I said.
"Tara, it's Tony. We need you and Steve back at the tower now." He said.
"What's up?"
"Just come, there's no time to explain." He hung up.
"Steve we gotta get to the tower." I said standing up.
"What happened? Is it an emergency?" He asked following me.
"I don't know. But Tony seemed serious." I grabbed my things, including Steve, and quickly walked to the Tower.
