Information

Thanks for checking out Mortal!

This story is only one of eight that I've been working on. They all link together, and are in the order of completion, but please feel free to read them in whichever order you like โ˜บ๏ธ They're inspired by both the comic books and the movies, so they follow a different narrative and plot to the DCEU films (think of it as an alternate universe ๐Ÿ˜‰)

Book 1: Invincible // Superman (Completed)

๐Ÿ’€ Silvia Stone was a vigilante with only one goal in mind, to give criminals a swift and painful death. As one could imagine, Superman didn't exactly appreciate the bodycount that was mounting. After being thrown into prison, breaking out, and more encounters with the Man of Steel, Clark starts believing that there is something worth saving in Silvia and embarks on an uphill battle to convince her that there is still good in even the worst of people. ๐Ÿ’€

Book 2: Throne of Atlantis // Aquaman (Completed)

๐ŸŒŠ After surviving a bank robbery, Camille Hanson decides to complete her training to join the police force; hoping to redeem herself from a gruesome death that she was too petrified to stop. After being assigned to Amnesty Bay she finds curiosity in an old lighthouse, and a man that was hiding within; the late Aquaman. Now she must help him regain his throne, and hopefully not gain any feelings along the way. ๐ŸŒŠ

Book 3: Inhuman // Cyborg (Completed)

๐Ÿค– Victor Stone had resigned himself to the fact that he was completely alone in the world. He had comrades, but they were completely organic. He had people he'd consider calling 'friend', but they were organic as well. They had secret identities. They could lead normal lives, fall in love, start families... Everything that he couldn't do. That is, until he met someone more like him than he originally thought. ๐Ÿค–

Book 4: Escape Velocity // Flash
(Completed)

โšก๏ธA time-skipping accident strands Barry Allen and his nemesis Eobard Thawne in the past; specifically 15th Century Japan, which is rife with chaos and warring clans. Barry is saved from outlaws by an early metahuman named Mineko Kaze, a disciple of a monastery dedicated to the usage of magic to combat evil. When one of her time's most dangerous warrior/sorcerers uses Thawn as a gateway to travel into the present day, Mineko is the only one who can help The Flash and Justice League overcome this foe who can control the minds of anyone, including metahumans. โšก๏ธ

Book 5: Mortal // Batman - currently reading

๐Ÿฆ‡ Bruce had never been a fan of aliens. They were an unknown. An unpredictable threat. He saw his friendship with the Kryptonian Kal-El as an exception to these rules, and the only one that he was willing to accept. So, when an alien vessel crashes in Gotham the detective is instantly put on edge. One question rose above the rest - Is this alien friend or foe? ๐Ÿฆ‡

Book 6: Peacekeeper // Green Lantern

โ‡๏ธ The Green Lantern's have a will of iron, and the bravery to combat fear. Hal Jordan was one of the best among them, that is until he quarrels with a new recruit that happened to be a pirate he recently arrested. Now he's stuck on rookie status and forced to mentor a murdering, plundering, space pirate... What could possibly make this any worse? โ‡๏ธ

Book 7: Elysium // Wonder Woman

๐Ÿ’ซ Decades ago, in a secluded forest within Germany, experiments were underway to win World War 2. Bastion was one of the children stolen from his home and tested on. As a result his mind strengthened, finally resulting in Telekinetic abilities. What will happen when Bastion suddenly awakens in a new era, and a new world? How will the Amazon warrior react to a man born in a time of discrimination and pain? ๐Ÿ’ซ

Book 8: Legacy // The Justice League

Enjoy! <3
