Ok, I'm pretty sure that people will hate me for this, but here's some background info on Elini! Yeah, yeah, I know it's not really a bonus chapter, but... Some things just have to be explained.

Elini was orphaned at a young age. Her parents were killed by investigators, and she fled the house and attempted to survive on her own, but had little knowledge of the world, as you may expect.

She was found and taken into a small orphanage, but always felt distant from the other children. After a while, her need for human meat was overwhelming. Unable to stop herself, she killed one of the other orphans.

Nobody ever suspected that it was her.

She was adopted soon thereafter, by a divorced woman who lived alone in a small apartment, but had always wanted a child. She loved Elini like her own, maybe even more. Naturally, she found out that she was a ghoul, but she didn't care.

Elini, having no understanding of the concept of 'love' that her foster mother was always mentioning, did as she pleased, going out and hunting. It was heartbreaking for her mother to see Elini do this, and even though she knew that it had to be done, she tried to prevent the deaths.

Elini slowly saw her mother's intent, and decided that she would be more useful dead. So one night, as her mother was sleeping, Elini killed her. However, she still confided in her, talking to her and sometimes sitting with her in the bed, braiding her hair like any little girl might do to her mom.

And so, this brings us to the start of this story...

Side info:

Elini is an S-class ghoul - and this is gor many reasons. Even though she is classified as very dangerous, and has killed a lot, she is rated S-class because of her physical power.

Although her kagunes are very powerful, she is just a young girl. Her strong points are her agility and her kagunes- and that's it.

In addition, at this time, the CCG is preoccupied with the capture of many other ghouls, such as the ones known as Jason and the Owl, and have no time for ghouls like her.
