"Hey, dad." Remani smiled a little as her voice cracked. "Bunny! I haven't seen you since...you didn't have all them damn tattoos." J.C switched his attention.

 Latoya laughed and shook her head. "Yeah, this all happened in a short period of time," Latoya told him. 

"You don't see me pops?" Zoku asked. 

"Zo, you think I wanna talk to yo ass after you ratted me out." J.C rolled his eyes. "I didn't rat you out! How many times do I have to fucking tell you that?" Zoku groaned. "Wait, huh?" Remani asked. 

"Your brother ratted me out about having drugs in my cell and I got put in the Shu for a fucking month. Had me go out of my mind." J.C whispered. "I didn't rat you out though." Zoku argued. 

"Who did then?" J.C turned his neck. "I don't know maybe that big dude who fucking hates you? I don't know dad, why would your own son rat you out, dad? Huh, dad? Why do all of a sudden you don't trust me, dad?" Zoku urged, raising his voice. 

"Hey!" The guard yelled.

 "Um. I just wanted to see you for your birthday. I wanted to- you know... see you or speak to you. Mom says hi." Remani said awkwardly. "Mmm. She got a new boyfriend or something?" J.C asked.

 "Um, I don't feel comfortable answering that," Remani replied quietly. "Ight, well, I got some shit to do. It was good seeing you." J.C got up and walked out. 

"Wow. It's like that, huh?" Remani shook her head. "Damn baby, I'm sorry that went down like that." Latoya sighed and put her arm around her. Zoku did the same and they walked out.

 "Bye-bye Jackson kids!" The security lady yelled and laughed. They ignored her as they walked outside. "So much for a happy birthday." Zoku scoffed and got in.

Remani was laying down on the couch watching a dumb Netflix movie as the dogs sat on the ground below her. "Y'all! There's a bigger party tonight! We are going!" Latoya yelled as she burst through the front door. 

"Shit, you scared the fuck outta me." Remani held her heart and laughed. "Yeah yeah! Where's everyone?" Latoya asked. "Zoku and Lonnie are at it again, Destiny and Princess are in the room and I am here binging a show for the second time," Remani answered plainly. 

"Hold on." Latoya walked on the first room door. "Open this door fo' I knock it down hoe!" She yelled playfully and banged on Lonnie's door. Then she walked in Destiny's room and caught her and Princess making out. 

"Oh shit!" Latoya laughed. "Re', you know Princess likes girls too! Anyways, we going to a party. Get ready starts at 7 and ends tomorrow morning!" Latoya cheered and ran. 

Destiny and Princess just stared at each other. Zoku and Lonnie went out of the room and stared at Latoya. 

"Really? You messed us up for that? I have fucking nut on my covers now!" Lonnie complained causing Latoya and Remani to snicker a little. Latoya clapped once. 

"Everyone get ready! We gotta people to impress!" She yelled. Everyone went around getting dressed, doing their makeup, and doing their hair. Remani wore a sparkly long-sleeved crop top and a matching skirt.

Remani did her eye shadow and put eyeliner and gems on. "You need some lip gloss boo?" Latoya asked. "Yeah, actually." Remani said as she put on long eyelashes. Latoya put the clear lip gloss next to her and did her eyeliner. 

"I didn't know you knew how to do makeup." Latoya told her. "When you are friends with my girl, Jules, you'll know all and hear all." Remani laughed. 

"Mhm. So, this Fez guy. What's he like? You got a picture of him?" Latoya interrogated. "Why?" Remani asked, smearing lip gloss on. "Uhh, because I needa approve if he's right for my little girl." Latoya chuckled. 

"Bunny- You know what, take my phone. He's my lock screen." Remani gave it to her. "Aww." Latoya smiled at the picture of them both holding up cash. "I am assuming Rue and Jules are your home screen, correct?" Latoya asked. 

"Yeah, how'd you know?" Remani put on big silver hoop earrings and silver hair clips. "I guessed your password." Latoya laughed. "How'd you-" 

"It's literally your birthday." She shook her head. "Damn, I really need to change that." Remani chuckled as Latoya went through her phone. "You take a shit ton of pictures with your friends. I just hope they are right for you. Seems like you care about them a lot." Latoya grinned a little. 

"Damn, Re and Bunny you girls look hot!" Lonnie complimented. 

"Thank you." "I know." Remani and Latoya said at the same time. "Let's go, is everyone ready?" Remani asked. "Yeah, they all good." Lonnie told her. 

They grabbed their things and walked down the hallway. The dogs started running and jumping around again. "Aye! Aye!" Latoya snapped her fingers. They stopped. 

"We are leaving, go in the cage. Did y'all feed them?" Latoya looked up at the others. "Yeah, they just ate my fucking chicken tenders like fucking fat asses." Zoku shook his head. "Let me fill up their bowls and I'll be out. Everyone in the big car in the back." Latoya demanded. 

"Ight." Everyone walked outside and opened the gate to the back. Everyone said they didn't have the keys and had to wait for Latoya. "Oh shit, I got the keys. Ha!" Destiny laughed and unlocked it before Latoya came out.

 "Oh my god." Everyone groaned and laughed. Once everyone got in, Destiny drove and turned up the music loud as hell. Everyone sang and jumped around all the way to the party which was way bigger than any of them expected. 

"We're here! Let's go!" Latoya practically jumped out the window. "Calm the fuck down!" Lonnie groaned as everyone got out. It was a huge house with people, everyone including the roof and balconies.

 Colorful lights flashed, loud music boomed so loud you could hear it from down the street, drunk and high teens running around and dancing, some couples making out, and more. A tall guy walked up to them with a smile. 

"Well, well, well. Welcome to the party." The guy smiled. "Boy, Introduce yourself. You look different." Latoya demanded. "Ight, damn. I'm Travis." The dude had a grin plastered on his face. 

"Wait, Darius brother Travis?" Zoku asked. Travis hated being known as Darius's brother since he knew Darius wasn't a good person at all. "Yeah." He nodded. 

"Oh. Nah." Remani shook her head and turned around. "Shit, what did I do?" Travis asked. "More like what your brother did." Princess told him. Princess and Latoya went and stopped her. 

"Yo." Latoya held Remani back. "I can't do this. What if I see him and do some dumb shit? I just stopped thinking about him and that shit he put me through. I'm not going to relive it."

 Destiny, Lonnie, Zoku, and Travis came over. "Hey, Remani. I know you aren't fond of my brother and I'm really not either but you shouldn't let him ruin your night." Travis spoke softly. Remani turned to him. 

"It's not that I'm not fond of him. It's that I don't want to go through the shit he put me through. Imagine you see a bad ex who has done terrible things to you. Imagine that and that all over again." Remani explained. 

"Look, I get that. I do. Now I don't know what he did but I do know as long as I am back he won't be hurting anybody. I promise. You gotta trust me though. You know me, beautiful." Remani just stared at him breathing deeply. 

"Fine. Okay." Remani grinned a little. "Thank you. Now, shall we go in?" Travis held his hand out. Remani slowly took his head and nodded. "Let's go!" The group clapped as they walked into the party.

 "Go enjoy yourself and have fun just don't kill no one," Travis instructed. Remani let his hand go and walked around. They all split up which was a dumb idea. Remani sat at a bar and ordered a few vodka shots but made sure to watch him as the bartender poured it.

 "Thank you." Remani smiled since he just gave her the vodka and a cup. She kept drinking and drinking until she got a text from Fez.

Remani went upstairs and found a quiet room. She called her mom and waited and waited for her to pick up. "Re! The feds are here. Where do you keep the...dosey does?" Her mother quickly spoke. 

"Um, all of them are in the uhhhh- Most of them are in the black and purple duffel bag in the corner of my room under my desk. Don't do shit to it, just throw it out the window the police aren't at. The others are in a small black bookbag. Stuff that in the duffel bag before you throw it out." Remani quickly commanded.

 "Okay okay," Missy said frantically. "I found the black bookbag where's the duffel again?" She asked as yells were heard in the background. "Under my desk ma!"  

"There was a trash bag in here so I put the duffel and backpack in there and threw it out." Remani paced back and forth. "Okay, now go out there and show them there's nothing. They are raiding Fez's crib also." Remani panicked. 

"Okay, I love you, baby." Missy told her. "I love you too ma." Remani hung up and paced around the room. 

"Fuck, fuck, fuck." Remani tried to think and then she got her mind on one specific person, Nate Fucking Jacobs. "I swear to god I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch." Remani told herself. 

"Damn, so you got crazier after you left huh?" A deeper voice said behind her. 

Remani's heart dropped as she turned around. "You leave me the fuck alone." She warned her now ex.

 "Come on baby. It was one mistake and you hold it against me like some villain." Darius walked towards her. "Yo, I swear to god I will fucking cut you. Leave me alone." Remani moved back. 

"So, it's like that?" He asked. "Yeah, it's like that. Let me get the fuck out the room and I'm gonna be on my way. I had a long day and I don't have time for this." Darius laughed and came closer to her causing her to move back.

 "You think this shit is a game? Look, I fucking own you! You left once but I put this on my life you won't leave again." Remani froze against a wall. Darius wrapped his hand around her throat and one of her hands. "Go find someone else to fuck with bro."

"I replaced you easily with a few bitches, I don't really know they names but I'm wondering. You got a new boyfriend or something? Just tell me his name and we'll get this over with." Darius demanded. 

"You easily replaced me? Bitch I was trying to fucking love yo bitch ass. You know how much mental shit you put on me and now you wanna ask if I have a new boyfriend? Fuck you. That would be none of your fucking business." Remani struggled. 

He seized her phone from her hand and turned it on. "Alright. Who's this?" 

 "Give me my fucking phone!" Remani yelled and kicked him in his groin causing him to let her go. Darius threw the phone on the bed and looked at her.

 "You are always so fucking stubborn!" He yelled swing at her. She dodged the punch and hit him in his jaw. Darius stopped trying to hit her then grabbed her arm tightly. 

"Let me go!" She screamed and kicked as he threw her on the bed. "Shut the fuck up or Imma fucking kill you." Darius got on top of her and held her arms and legs restraining her.

 She screamed and struggled. Darius tightened his grip and sucked on her neck. Remani had given up and just sat there and cried. There were two gunshots causing him to stop. 

Remani kicked him off of her, grabbed her phone, and ran out of the room. She looked around frantically looking for her siblings and friends and they were nowhere to be found. 

Remani looked around and put her phone in her bra. 

Everyone was running around as more gunshots were heard. Remani ran downstairs and saw her siblings running. She caught up to them. 

"Where're the girls?" She asked. "We don't fucking know!" Princess cried as more gunshots were heard. They got outside and saw Destiny and Lonnie in the car waiting for them. 

"No, no, no. You two go! I gotta get Bunny!" Remani shouted out. "Fuck no! You are coming too!" Zoku pulled her. "Stop it! I need to get Latoya!" Remani screamed and pushed him and Princess. 

She ran back to the house and the gunshots stopped. Remani saw Latoya with a bleeding arm. "Shit! Bunny are you okay? Let's go. We gotta go." Remani crouched down to her. Latoya just looked behind her. 

"What? What?" Remani turned around to see a gun at her head. "What the fuck! Bro! You shot someone? Damn it! I said shoot up what don't you get!" Another gunman came and snatched the other one away.

 "Come on let's go." Remani helped Latoya up and they got outside. They got in the car and as soon as they closed the door Lonnie began driving. "Fuck! Bunny, are you okay!" Destiny screamed. 

"I'm fine. Zo, in the glove compartment there's bandages and- and other shit to clean this shit." Latoya instructed. Zoku got them out and threw it to the backseats. "I don't know how to fucking-" Destiny moved the very back.

 "Move real quick." She shooed Remani. Remani sat up in the middle seats with Princess. Princess was crying her eyes out. Remani went to her seat and hugged her. Princess laid her head on Remani's shoulder and cried more. 

The drive was quiet other than the sound of things rustling in the back from Destiny helping Latoya. They got home and got ready for bed since Remani, Princess, and Zoku had to go to the airport early in the morning. 

Remani told Latoya all that happened with her and Darius and about her house getting raided. "Fuck man. Hold on. Let me go take a call." Latoya said and got up with her phone and walked out.

 Latoya went to call Travis and tell him to deal with his brother before she goes over there and deals with it herself.

RUE

R:
Hey, It's Rue's mom.

R:
She's in the hospital. 

R:
It's a kidney infection.

R:
I just thought I'd tell you.

Oh my- Really? I'll be
back in town tomorrow, could I come
to see her?

R:
If they allow it. 

"Fuck!"  Remani groaned. Latoya came in with a blank expression on her face. "What happened?" Remani asked her. 

"So, the fuckers who shot up the party came back and they shot Travis 4 times. He's not dead, he's in critical condition. Or that's what his best friend just told me." Latoya sighed. 

"Damn. This is so fucked up. This has just been a fucked up day." Remani shook her head.
