Chapter 31
Comic con comes a callin
{Kays POV}
Today was the day.
The first day of comic con.

"Are you nervous." Chandler asked me sitting next to me on the bed as I scrolled through twitter.
"A little..." I said.
I lied.
I was more then a little nervous.
"Don't be," he said grabbing my hand "how about after wards we go on a date. I can finally try out the penny board I bought!" He said smiling.
I've been riding skate boards, penny boards, long boards, basically anything since I was a little girl so I was really excited when Chandler decided he wanted to learn how to ride.
"It's a date." I said leaning in and kissing his nose.
I got up from the bed and laughed.
"You're such a tease!" He said.
I laughed more and then walked out the door to Lauren's room.
This was going to be a fun day.

{After Comic Con}
-5:00 PM-
"I'm.
So.
Tired." I said flopping down on Normans bed.
Me, Lauren, Steven, Norman, Chandler and Mingus where all in his hotel room.
"Well wake up! You still have to teach me his to penny board. Remember?" Chandler smirked standing over me.
"Okay- I'm alive. Calm your balls." I said standing and everyone laughed.
"I gotta go change then I'll be ready. Wanna come?" I asked.
Chandler nodded.
"Bye guys!" I said.
"USE PROTECTION!" Norman joked as we walked out the door.
Chandler hand slipped into mine as we walked back to our hotel room.

"Okay I'm ready!" I said walking out of the bathroom.
"Wo-ah.." Chandler mumbled.
His eyes got big and he tried his best not to make eye contact with me.
This is one of the first times I've seen him like this.
"Chan. My eyes are up here." I said tilting his head towards me.
"I know- I just- you look- really pretty. How come you don't dress like that more often." He said smiling.
"You really want me wearing short shorts in front of all the guys at school." I laughed.
"On second thought!- shall we go?" He asked opening the door.
I grabbed my pennyboard and he grabbed his.

We walked to the park that was close to our hotel and found a side walk to practice on.

I explained to him where to put his feet and some more basic things.
He tried it and was a natural.

"YOURE DOING GREAT!" I yelled.
"I FEEL GREAT!" He called back.
We spent a coupe hours just riding around the park and racing each other until we both ended up on top of the monkey bars on the playground.

"That was so much fun!" I said.
"I had a lot of fun too!" He said.
He was quiet for a moment and basically just stared at me.
"What?" I giggled.
"I'm just wondering how I got so lucky." Chandler said.
I smiled and we both stated to lean in before his lips crashed on to mine.
It was long and sweet, nothing too intense though, since we where sitting in monkey bars.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

We hopped down from the monkey bars and penny boarded to a Taco Bell.
By the time we got there it was already almost 11.
"Two baja blasts." I said handing the cashier a $5.
"Woah- wait a second. I was gonna pay." Chandler said.
"Sucks to be you then." I said smiling.
"But-"
"No buts. Remember at the movie theatre when you promised I could pay next time. Well this counts as next time."
"Okay- but next time IM paying." He smirked.
I raised my hands in defeat as the man handed us our drinks.
We sat on a bench outside and watched the stars.
"Here. You look freezing." Chandler said pulling me into a hug.
We had both not brought jackets since we didn't plan on being out this late.
"Thanks." I said. "I don't think these are help my much- but they're just too good to pass up." I said taking another sip.
"Woah- it's almost midnight! We should start heading back before Ming has a heart attack." Chandler laughed.
"Okay!" I said.
Chandler helped me up and we walked back the hotel carrying our penny boards with us.

"Wait- before we go inside." Before I could respond to Chandler I felt his lips crash into mine.
I kissed back and felt his hands wrap around my waist.
I put my arms around his shoulders and he moved one hand on to my cheek.
For a minute or two our lips moved perfectly in sync until I pulled away.
"Come on."

We walked inside and Mingus, Lauren, Steven and Norman where all in our room watching Pitch Perfect.
"Finally!" Mingus yelled relieved he wouldn't have to hang out with people double his age anymore.
"So did you follow Normans advice." Steven teased.
"Damn Chandler I knew we forgot something!" I said and everyone laughed.
Luckily Norman still thought we where just friends, but I knew he would find out the truth soon.
Me, Chandler and Mingus layed on the floor as the adults laid on the bed watching the movie.
It was officially my favorite day of the tour, and it was only the first day.
