𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘺𝘱𝘰𝘴. 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘪 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘺𝘱𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵. 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘶 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴! 𝘗𝘓𝘌𝘈𝘚𝘌 𝘌𝘟𝘊𝘜𝘚𝘌 𝘛𝘏𝘌𝘔

I fixed my outfit as my mom pulled up to the venue of Sumin's party. I hated going to these things. i had stopped going to her parties a while back. they were semi formal but everyone always showed up trying to outshine the others. It was nothing new to her of course. it being her birthday or not she was always looking for a reason to outshine someone.

I hated these birthday bash type events, it drove me crazy trying to be social knowing im not. I huffed about to exit the car but  my mom stopped me.

Ma: Yhumi....

she pointed at my head. i looked at her slightly confused until it clicked what she was saying.

in seconds my ears appeared.

i gave her a slight smile before walking in with my gift.

walking inside i saw many faces i hadn't seen in years. most had glow ups but others....well they still looked the same.

sitting her gift down on the gift table my ears perked at my name being called.

turning around i saw jinsoo. he stood there in his formal attire with his mouth slightly opened. 

i cocked my brow at him. i wasn't really interested in speaking to him anytime soon. Looking away from him i scanned the room... hmmmm i had yet to see the birthday girl. 

i rolled my eyes at the thought of her giving some over the top grand entrance.

Jinsoo coughed before speaking causing my eyes to land back on him

Jinsoo: i...uh you look really good Yhumi

i scuffed.

Me: jinsoo... i barely want to be here do me a favor and stop it with your wack conversation starters.

he smirked a devious smirk before sticking his hands in his pockets laughing, causing a few heads to turn our way.

Jinsu: ha! you caught me... i must say though.. i'm surprised you're here. i didn't think you'd be here being you didn't attend the last 2 or 3. I started to think you two were no longer best friends.

i scuffed.

Me: we were never best friends. I just tolerated her because our parents were close at the time.

Jinsu: well... I'm sure your dreading being here alone, Not like you talk to anyone here... what do you say I keep you company.

he held his hand out to me. i looked back and forth from his face to his hand... should i? I really don't want to make small talk with these people. But I'd kill myself before i spend a day with jinsoo throwing corny pick up lines at me or trying to seduce me.

I huffed at the thought of giving in... i was about to reach for it when someone spoke from behind us making me look over my shoulder as jinsoo looked behind me

"I don't think that'll be necessary"

we stood there shocked to see jungkook standing in sexy attire. i must admit he cleaned up nicely. He held a strong expression. if looks could kill jinsoo would be dead. 

i turned to face him completely.

Me: kookie? what are you doing here? 

today was sunday... the day the boys planned on seeing a movie with han

he shrugged walking over to me pulling me into his chest. I looked around seeing a few eyes on us. however jinsoo had disappeared.

JK: I was invited. In fact sumin text me herself. 

i frowned at the thought of her going out of her way to invite MY friend.

kook is my friend right!?....

Lost in thought i snapped out of it when jk grabbed my chin forcing me to look up at him

Jungkook: don't worry.... It's not like she has my number or something. She text me thru Instagram... although i'm not sure how she got my username.

I felt a bit better that their brief contact was thru instagram.

Me: she most likely went thru my following list.

music started to play and the lights dimmed....couples started to dance together.

Jungkook: will you dance with me Noona?

i looked around at all the other couples in the room...

this is weird.........

i sighed as i watched jungkook's eyes sparkle waiting on my reply. nodding my head slightly i pulled him to the dance floor.

Lets hope this night ends quickly
