"Where we going" he questioned as I helped him slip into his clothes

"She on the bed sleep I got her dressed already" I told him

"Go to my bathroom so I can put a ponytail in your hair" I told him and he ran away

Following him to the bathroom I put some cream I. His hair then brushed it up

I picked Yani up putting her in her car seat I left her door open and went to take some pictures of Kani

After I was done I closed her door than grabbed Kani hand walking to the other side of the car

"You got ya iPad Kani" I asked him after getting in the front seat

"Yes" he responded

I nodded then started my drive to target

After the twenty minute drive I got out grabbing the kids and walking inside

"Hold my hand butt" I said to Kani

Whenever I'm in a store with him I have to be feeling him in some kind of way

If he's not touching me my anxiety kicks in because anything can happen to him

I walked to the toy section first letting him pick out a toy then grabbed everything I needed before going to check out

"Ma I hungry" Kani said tapping my leg

"We gone get some food when we leave here" I told him

After paying for everything I took the bags putting them on my arm

I took Yani up out the cart holding her in my arm while grabbing Kani's hand with the other hand

"Yo" I heard walking out the store

I turned around and was met with a fist to my face

Seconds later I felt multiple hands punching on me while I tried to cover Siyani's little body

Hearing Kani's cry tears started to fall from my eyes

After about ten minutes the punches stopped

"That's for Quana Bitch" I heard as they ran

I groaned looking for Sekani

Seeing him sitting next to me I looked down at Siyani seeing scrapes on her body

I called the cops before calling Nardo

"Wassup" his voice spoke

"Nardo they just jumped me" I rushed out

"Who?? you got my kids with you" he asked with attitude and concern laced in his voice

"Yes Nardo I had Yani in my hands my baby got scratches all over her" I cried

"Where Kani" he asked ass I heard shuffling

"He here they ain't touch him he was holding my hand" I explained

"Where y'all at" he questioned

"The target closest to my house" I huffed

I got up off the floor leaving everything I bought and picking up Kani

Walking to my car I opened it sitting them both in the back

"Shhh mama it's ok" I mumbled rocking Yani in my arms

"Nardo she's bleeding from her head" I panicked

"Ight chill out you called the cops" he asked as I heard his car speed up

"Yes before I called you and they still not here" I huffed

I took baby wipes out of Yani bag gently cleaning her off

I don't care about them jumping me but for them to jump me while I got both of my kids is crazy

Not only that she was in my hands they ain't even care bout hurting no innocent kid

"I'm pulling in behind you" he said then the phone hung up

"Mmcht look at your face Soriya" he mumbled

"I'm fine Nardo we gotta take her to the hospital" I told him as he took her from me

"Get inna car imma take y'all" he said grabbing Kani in his other arm

We all got in his car and he drove to the hospital

Once we got there we rushed inside

"We need a doctor" he screamed

"Aww poor baby" the nurse cooed making me mug her

"Ok come with us" a doctor rushed out

"Ma'am you come with me" a nurse grabbed my arm

"No I'm good I gotta go with my baby" I told her

"Soriya" Nardo spoke sternly

"She good go" he added

"Let's go Kani" he spoke as I huffed following the nurse
