you and matthew has been together for 3 years and married for two of them, valentine's day is always a big day for you two, criminal minds is in season 3 and it is a hit show.

matthew getting dressed: "i can't believe i have to work on valentine's day, i feel so bad" he told you as he pulled his purple shirt over his head.

 "i know i'm sad" you tell him with a pout.

he walks over to you and puts his hands on your face looking in your eyes: "i will make it up to you, i promise" then kisses you.

you sigh after the kiss ends: "i know you will" you tell him as you rub your hands up and down on his t-shirt covered chest.

you are wearing a pink bathrobe with a heart on the back that matthew gave to you last valentine's day and the pink heart earrings he gave you the same year.

 "you look beautiful, i hate having to leave" matthew tells you rubbing his hands up and down your body.

 "i hate it too, but duty calls, people love you and criminal minds, so you have to go" you tell him.

 "i could just take you with me" he suggested.  

 "and you would never leave the hotel room honey" you giggle.

matthew smiles and laughs: "that is true, you know i love you right?" he askes quietly. 

"of course i do" you answer.

 "good, because i really do" he tells you sweetly.

 "do you have time to eat something before you go?" 

"mm-hmm" he answers.

"ok, i'll get the bagels" to turn to go to the kitchen and he grabs your arm, you turn back to look at him he is smiling "come here" you take the two steps back to him and he wraps his arms around you and kisses you.

you moan as he kisses you loving the way his lips feel and wishing he could stay home and you two could spend the day in bed.

 "i love you, i just wanted to kiss you again" he tells you as he holds you.

 "i'm glad you did" you smile.

 "can we get those bagels now?" he askes.

 "yes we can" you smile.

you both go downstairs and go to the kitchen you grab the bagels and matthew gets the cream cheese, then makes some coffee.

you both eat your bagels, drink your coffee and wish you two could stay like this forever just the two of you in love, enjoying each other.

matthew pulls you on to his lap.

 "i want to hold you" he tells you with his eye full of love.

 "ok, hold me as long as you want to, i love it"

 mm-mmm so do i" he smiles.

 "what time do you have to be there?" you ask.

matthew looking at the clock: "9:00"

 "what time is it?" you ask him.

matthew sighs: "8:05"

 "ok" you say sadly.

matthew gets his bags and carries them to the front door putting them down and turning to look at you.

 "what are you going to do when i gone?" matthew wants to know.

"just stay here i guess"

 "oh baby you can't do that, you need to go out and enjoy life" he tells you.

"i don't want to be out, i want to be here enjoying you" you wink.

"i want the same" he kisses you and tells you he loves you, then leaves.

two days later it's valentine's day and your phone rings:"hello"

 "hi baby, happy valentine's day" matthew tells you.

"happy valentine's day matthew"

 "were you sleeping?" he asks

 "yes, i don't have anything fun to do today, so i thought i would just sleep"

matthew: "oh honey, i really wish you would go out and enjoy the day"

"mm-mmm i can't without you"

"i really wish you would, please baby for me?" he askes you sweetly.

 "ok what should i do?"

 "how about you go see your mom? she would love that"

 "ok i think i will"

 "good, i have to go back to work now honey, i love you"

later in the day, y/n is out with her mom shopping, having coffee, and catching up.

as that is happening matthew gets done with the episode of criminal minds earlier then he thought he would, so he goes to the store and picks up some things for tonight, he is so excited that he is going to get to spend valentine's day with you after all, he buys everything he needs and drives home, you aren't home yet, so he starts setting everything up.

he puts the heart balloons all over the living room, puts the rose pales on the floor all the way up to the bathroom and in the tub, with the special lavender bubble soap in the tub and unwrapped the candles of the same scent, then he calls you on the phone.

 "hello?" you answer.

 "hey baby, where are you?"  

 "in the car i'm driving back to our empty house.

matthew smiles:" well honey maybe it won't be as bad as you think it well be, you could use some alone time"

"not really, i miss you"

 "i miss you to baby"

i'm pulling in the driveway now, could you stay on the phone for a bit? i am so lonely" you ask

matthew smiles, his heart racing, he is so happy you are home, and he can spoil you.

 "sure baby" he answer happily 

 " thank you" you get out of the car.

matthew is running to the door his heart is beating so fast and he is so happy.

you open the door.

 " surprise!!!!!" he yells as he smiles and laughs, he is wearing his gray bathrobe his hair is a little messy and he is smiling so big.

 "MATTHEW!!" you yell and run to him then jump on him and wrap your legs around his waist as you kiss him.

 "are you happy to see me baby?"

 "on my god matthew i am so happy"

 "i have a surprise for you"

 "more than this?"

matthew smiling and giggling: "yes baby more than this, i said i would make leavening you"

he then picks you back up and carries you up stares down the hall and opens the bathroom door, the smell of lavender coming out of the room as he opens the door.

you look around and see everything he has done for you.

 "oh matthew, you did all this for me?" you ask with tears starting to form.

"of course, i love you and i wanted to make you happy" he tells you smiling.

 "i didn't start putting the water in yet, i didn't want it to get cold" he says as he is turning on the water.

 "so thoughtful"

 "may i help you out of you outfit?" matthew smiles.

"oh you please" you smile and giggle.

he undresses you as the room fills with steam from the hot water.

after he undresses you, he looks at you "your so beautiful"

"honey i am only wearing my wedding ring and a pair of earrings"

  "i know" he smiles as he takes off his robe and gets in the tub putting his hand out for you.

"care to join me my love?'

 "yes!"

you get in the tub and matthew wraps his arms around you: "comfy baby?"

you moan and say"yes, so comfy"

 "good" then starts rubbing your shoulders then kisses you neck.

 "oh matthew you are spoiling me"

"i love spoiling you"

then he runs his fingers up and down your arms: "it's one of my favorite things to do spoiling you"

later matthew helps dry you off and he puts your pink satin nightgown on you, then his own gray p'js.

 "are you hungry?" he asks tucking you in to bed.

" a little"

"i have something, i'll get it"

you sit up in bed and wait for him to came back when he does, he is holding a plate of chocolate covered Strawberrys, he sits next to you, after pulling the covers over himself.

 "happy valentine's day baby" matthew tells you smiling.

 "are these for me?" you ask happily.

"yes they are my love" he says picking up a strawberry and holding it at your mouth.

you bit the strawberry, and moan at how good it tastes.

matthew bits the strawberry he just fed you and smiles.

after you two eat your berrys, matthew holds you in his arms, he kisses your lips, neck, the top of your head, he just can't get enough of you, and you can't get enough of him.

 "i love you y/n" tells you with so much love for you.

i love you matthew, thank you for a sweet valentine's day" you whisper so tired after not sleeping much since you missed matthew so much, but now that he is here and he is holding you, you can finely sleep.

matthew kisses you and you both are asleep a few minutes later.
