Chapter 19 - Not alone

Tommy's vision was blurry, his breathing was rapid, his chest hurt, tears sprung to his eyes.
Nightmare ran in front of him, not that the other person could see but he was determined to help his kid.
'Tommy I need you to listen to me. This person is NOT a threat, he won't hurt you, okay. You're safe. It's okay kid, you're safe."
Nightmare whispered those words softly, over and over again, he held his arms round his child despite knowing that he wouldn't feel it.
The figure still stood there not knowing what to do.
Tommy's breath evened out shortly after.
The combination of the voices and nightmares comforting words was able to keep him grounded despite the lack of physical touch.

("Are you okay now?")

Tommy eyes were still closed shut,
"Yeah. Yeah I'm okay now."
He nodded ever so slightly and turned to walk away.
"If you know what's best for you, you wouldn't follow me."
"⎅⍜ ⟟ ☍⋏⍜⍙ ⊬⍜⎍?"
("Do I know you?")

"Probably not."

"⊑⍜⍙ ⎅⍜ ⊬⍜⎍ ⎍⋏⎅⟒⍀⌇⏁⏃⋏⎅ ⋔⟒?"
("How do you understand me?")

"I don't know.
It's not that hard."

" ⋏⍜ ⍜⋏⟒ ⟒⎐⟒⍀ ⎍⋏⎅⟒⍀⌇⏁⏃⋏⎅⌇ ⋔⟒."
("No one ever understands me.")

"Then I guess I'm lucky! Can I leave now?"

"⊬⍜⎍'⍀⟒ ⍙⟒⏃⍀⟟⋏☌ ⊑⟟⌇ ⋔⏃⌇☍."
("You're wearing HIS mask.")

Tommy was shocked, but he still didn't turn round. How did this man know about the mask? Why did he sound so familiar?

"⊬⍜⎍ ⎎⍜⎍⋏⎅ ⟟⏁ ⏃⏁ ⏁⊑⟒ ⏁⟒⋔⌿⌰⟒ ⎅⟟⎅⋏'⏁ ⊬⍜⎍? ⊑⟒ ⌰⟒⏁ ⊬⍜⎍ ⟟⋏."
("You found it at the temple didn't you? He let you in.")

Tommy spun around quickly, blade out and ready to kill.
This man knew about nightmare.
This man knew about his home.
He had to kill him.
He couldn't risk being found out.
He couldn't risk losing everything he had gotten back.

What shocked him most however, was who was standing there talking to him.
A duel eyed enderman stood, towering far above him.

"Ranboo?"
