*****Willow's POV****

It took a few days to get myself together after the whole argument with Liv, it just felt like she was the one person in Chelsea I could really rely on and now she's gone. She messaged me the morning after asking me to meet but I said I just wanted some time to cool down and she thankfully got the message and hasn't attempted to contact me since. I was on my daily walk to clear my mind when I spotted Sam, Rez and Harvey in the distance so I had to go and speak to them.

"Boys." I awkwardly announced my presence. "How are we all doing?"

"Willow." Sam as his usual gleeful self pulled me in for a hug. "How are you?"

"I'm better."

"We were just talking about little old Rez over here. I believe he's still got this Ruby cloud showering over him."

"I agree with you, but you can't just get rid of it." Rez agreed with him. "What's actually happening is it getting harder because the longer we go,  the more she expresses her opinions of wanting to get back with me."

"She's treating you like shit." Harvey said.

"When a few days ago, she was calling me crying asking me to get back with her."

"What I don't understand is she's saying this to you, she wants to get back with you, she loves you. But then she was out on a date with Miles and they kissed."

"Yeah I mean that sucks, I'm not going to lie, our lasts words were her begging me to show her I cared and to allow her to show me that she wanted to get back with me."

"And by showing you she got with Miles."

"I said, 'yeah ok cool', how do you think that makes me feel, I feel awful."

"I believe we're all probably in agreement that she does want to be single or with someone else and that's the worst bit." Sam admitted.

"I think it's an ego thing as well." Harvey admitted. "Would she ever go back on all the stuff she's said about you, you've basically been made out to be the worst man in the world, or at least the worst boyfriend."

"We got off on the wrong foot." I admitted to Rez. "But because I was spending so much time with Ruby in that house, she was basically making you out to be this manipulative person, the worst boyfriend. I couldn't understand why she would even want to be with you. That's the impression of you I got from your own girlfriend at the time."

"This is my problem, when its me and her in that little bubble and she's talking to me and she's saying the stuff she does, it's very hard for me to then be like 'she doesn't want to be with me' and that's the issue."

"No I get that, I fully understand that." Sam said. "She's said all the things, but what I'm saying to you and it's just my opinion, I don't think she does want to get back with you but when she has a down day she goes 'oh I can't handle it anymore, I must reach out' and that takes you back five steps. I feel like it's time for a block mate."

"It would be tough for me, because I always thought she was the one for me." I could see him getting upset so I put my arm around him. "I don't want to get emotional."

"It's all good."

"I thought she was the one, so it's a tough one."

"You've just got to remember this isn't the girl you fell in love with." I said. "You can't hold onto the girl you thought she was, like a lot of people."

"Shit." Sam paused. "Did you know about the whole Ruby and Miles thing?"

"Yeah I knew, I'll admit I'm really struggling right now hearing you talk about this Ruby that you feel in love with because right now she's sticking the knife in right where it hurts. I got a message from her at Liv's party of them on a date together,  with a cute little caption about finally realising what they had together."

"That suck man."

"Yeah but if she wants to act like that then at least I can sleep well knowing I was right about the whole thing, she always wanted Miles and I'll stick by that."

"Is that why you stormed out?" Rez asked. "Sorry but I couldn't help but see you was upset."

"Kind of, I then had an argument with Liv so it really wasn't a great night for me."

"What happened?"

"I felt like she pushed me away so that she could get with Tristan, so I wouldn't be an obstacle in them getting together. It just me me see how little she valued our friendship and if that's the way she wants to be then I deserve better friends than that."

"I'm guessing you wasn't impressed by his speech then?" Sam presumed.

"I wanted to be sick." I joked. "I wish them all the happiness in the world but would I put a bet on them getting married, I don't think so."

****

Everyone was going to Liv's house for a pool party today, but for obvious reasons I didn't want to go, Ollie had messaged me to say I was invited but I didn't need that on top of everything that's going on right now. I was all ready to settle down and order a takeaway for my tea, sat on the sofa in an oversized hoodie with no make up on, when the doorbell went. Usually I would just ignore it but after it went again I had to go and see who it was and upon opening the door I was quite surprised.

"Pizza for two." Digby stood there, his own tracksuit on, holding up two pizza boxes.

"What are you doing here?" I guided him inside and into the living room to place the boxes on the coffee table, before he pulled me into a hug.

"I went to that party and you wasn't there, Ollie mentioned you didn't want to come and I didn't want you to be here all alone."

"That's really sweet, take a seat, would you like a drink? Glass of wine?"

"That would be nice."

I went into the kitchen and retrieved a bottle of red along with two glasses before finding him making himself comfy on the sofa, Ollie's dog cuddling up next to him. "Sorry I don't exactly look the part, I wasn't expecting anyone."

"You still look great, I like this other side to you."

"Thanks, I'm surprised you remembered our pizza conversation."

"I don't forget these things, I needed some food and I didn't fancy sitting by myself, stuffing pizza down my face."

"So you decided to come and show the real side of you to me, just saying these aren't my white sofas so unless you want to feel the wrath of Ollie I would be careful." I warned but with a teasing look on m face. "That dog snitches on anyone who isn't Ollie or Gareth, he does not like me in the slightest."

"He seems to like me though, I think he'd keep it a secret for me."

"I don't doubt it. So how was it today?" I asked, taking a slice of pizza.

"Eventful, I was kind of mingling with everyone and Miles and Ruby were there, I thought you should know, they looked quite cosy."

"I was kind of expecting it, that's why I left early the other night, she sent me a message just basically throwing it back in my face."

"Have you told anyone else this?"

"I told Ollie and yeah that's it, so him and whoever he's told and now you."

"Shit, that must have sucked."

"I guess but it just shows I was right at the end of the day, I knew she wanted him and he was just too blind to see it. But at least now I can move on, I know he doesn't care about me anymore so why should I care about him."

"Good for you. So yeah I saw them and then I went and spoke to Maeva and James." He paused for a moment out of hesitation.

"What's wrong?"

"I just like told them we'd hung out and I wanted to get to know you better, I thought you was friends with Maeva but she didn't exactly say the nicest things about you."

"To summarise, we were friends but she was messing around with Miles knowing I was exclusive with him. She was the one who wanted to make up though, I didn't think there was any issue on her behalf."

"She basically said that you can be clingy, get attached a bit too quickly. She was trying to warn me off you I can't lie."

"Did it work?"

"No, if I want to go for something then I'm going to go for them and I couldn't care less about their opinions."

"I mean the whole scenario is baffling, I was speaking to Miles for months before we became exclusive and that was a joint decision, I didn't force him into it or anything. I'm not clingy but at the same time I want the person to want to spent time with me, give me a little bit of affection. I'm a loyal person, sue me for that."

"I value loyalty very highly."

"Is this something you want to go for then?" I had to ask him. "Or are you going to block me on all social media platforms and run?"

"I feel like the best way to answer that is just to do this....." Placing his glass on the table, he reached over and took mine as well before leaning in, stopping just as our lips hovered over each other's. "Is this alright?"

"Shut up and kiss me." I made the move, sealing our lips together. It started off quite soft before he took control, positioning himself to lean over the top of me as I led down on the sofa. I had to quickly gasp for air and he used that as an opportunity to sneak his tongue in to caress my own, both our hands wandering before I gently pushed on his chest to separate us both, my lungs almost running out of air. "Oh my...."

"Was that good?"

"Amazing." Is all I could say, leaving another peck on his lips as I sat up. "I need another slice of pizza after that."

Digby and I finished up the pizzas before he went on his way, trying to avoid Ollie and Gareth coming the other way, even thought they knew we went on a date, I hadn't mentioned him since and I wasn't quite ready to put us out there yet. Habbs did reach out to me though and invited me to go for afternoon tea just us two, which I quickly agreed to.

"Hello lovely." She greeted me as I walked in, standing up for a hug. "You look lovely."

"Thank you, how are you?"

"I'm good thanks, Jamie's been away for the week so I've been out and about, trying to keep myself busy."

"If that means I get to spend time with you then Jamie can go away every week." I joked. "Who else have you seen?"

"So I went for a few drinks with Ruby and Tiff the other day."

"Delightful." I think she saw the displeasure written all over my face and paused for what to do next.

"I'm guessing you heard about her and Miles then."

"I'm guessing she hasn't told you everything then, she told me on the night they were on the date, I got a nice little picture to prove everything."

"That's really shit, sorry I didn't know, I thought they would have been trying to keep it a secret from you."

"I didn't expect them to do that, I have no issue with them really dating at all, I just would have preferred a little message the next day, not a photo of her basically sat in his lap. But don't worry, I have no issue with you being friends with her and I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to turn people against her, I just feel like at the moment I have no one to really confide in at the moment."

"Oh babe, of course I can be that person, I like Ruby but you'll always be a big special person for both Jamie and I, are you really ok with him moving on?

"Yeah, that's really not why I'm annoyed." I honestly said. "He can get with whoever he wants, it's just the amount of times I asked is there anything between him and Ruby and he almost seemed repulsed by the idea. He always without hesitation said there was nothing there. Did she seem happy with the date?"

"From the sound of it they had a really good date, lots of sexual tension, they shared a kiss. I think she's been seeing him quite a lot recently and he made the whole thing really romantic."

"Using the lessons I taught him on her, that's the classic Miles we all know."

"She should really be thanking you." Habbs joked, bringing the conversation back down to a joking level. "Who's your next student going to be?"

"Speaking of that, I've been kind of speaking to Digby...."

"What? Olivia's ex Digby."

"I don't know any other Digby's but yeah."

"Tell me more." She was almost out of her seat with excitement.

"We went on a blind date the other night and it went quite well, he came over the last night and yeah at the moment I am firmly in his charms."

"Do you get butterflies?"

"Maybe, I think there is a connection between us, I just want to spend time with him."

"Is there sexual chemistry there?"

"Massively, I just get all nervous when I'm around him, a good nervous."

"This is so exciting. Have you kissed?"

"Yeah..."

"Willow! Was it good?"

"Really good, I can't stop thinking about it to be honest."

"Good for you, he seems like a nice guy, but an actual man instead of these boys you've been attracting lately."

"I hate to jinx things but it is going well so far, I'm excited to see where we can go from here."

"Good for you, he'd be a fool not to go for you as well, I'm sure he'll be pulling all his tricks out."

"Oh I hope so."
