Chapter 04

Vincenzo watched HanSeok from afar, and the guy was a perfect one pretender. Looking at him it looked like he was an idiot, but from what Cassano read on the record, Jang HanSeok was a perfect psychopath, of the worst ilk you can imagine, now Vincenzo understands the fear HanSeo felt.

— I'm not going to get you today. — Cassano gets back in his car. — But soon maybe. — Vincenzo leaves, today he was going to look for HanSeo, it was about time he was courted. — I'd like a bouquet of lilies. — Vincenzo says to the attendant.

— I'd like to put in a card.

— Yes.

After everything was ready, he had it delivered to his beloved's house, logically he wouldn't do the to send him to work, it would be a lot of stupidity on his part.

And when it was about eight o'clock in the evening HanSeo's doorbell rang, at first he thought it might have been his brother, since he said he would dine there, but to his surprise, he was a delivery man, and he brought flowers.

— Jang HanSeo?

— That's me.

— Could you sign here?

— Clear. — He signs and hands over the paper and the delivery man gives him the flowers. — Do you know who sent it?

— I can't tell. — He says and leaves leaving a confused HanSeo.

HanSeo walks in and closes the door behind him.

— Who would have commanded? Let me see if it has... Has. — He picks up the card and opens it but it only had two very well written letters. — V.C? — HanSeo didn't know who it might be, no one had ever given him flowers. — So beautiful. — He strokes them. — He... It can't have been, only in the living once. — He takes the flowers to the kitchen and places them inside a vase after filling it with water. — But he's the only one with those initials, ma... — His train of thought is broken with his cell phone ringtone. — Alo?

— I hope you enjoyed the lilies.

— Vincenzo?

— You already know how to speak my name.

— How did you get my number?

— I have my contacts.

— Should I be worried?

— Never.

And the conversation lasts for hours, and even though HanSeo didn't realize it, it was his best hours, he couldn't contain his smile. If he had looked at himself in the mirror while talking to Cassano he would have noticed how beautiful he was smiling, a real smile, with brilliance. A smile that showed all his lightness, a lightness he hadn't known he had in a long time.

And that's how, for the first time in years, Jang HanSeo felt like the happiest person in the world.

— It's already going to be two in the morning. — HanSeo says shocked.

— Serious?

—Yes... How strange.

— What?

— My brother said he was coming to dinner, and he didn't show up.

— Wow!... Really very strange. — Vincenzo was great at lies, but for the first time he looked like a kid telling his first lie.

— He must have found something else to do. — Either HanSeo was slow, or very innocent.

—I think you'd better go to sleep... We can communicate by messages, now you have my number.

— Okayyyy... Good night.

— Good night. — Vincenzo hangs up. — My love. — Says looking at the phone. — Where did we stop? — Speaks looking at the man tied up in front of him. — I hope I wasn't impolite, for making you wait for so long.

— Hmmmm.

— I can't understand you... I heard some really cool things about you. And I, as a good person, came to ask you for something. — Cassano sits in a chair in front of HanSeok. —I let you live and you let your brother live. — Vincenzo takes the tape out of HanSeok's mouth.

— You're going to pay me for it.

— Before you try to make me pay, I think I'll make you pay first.

— I won't make any deals.

— Wrong words. — Vincenzo gets up and heads towards the door. — Let's see how long you'll stick with this silly thought. — Leaves the room and locks the door behind her. — Weak give up early. — Walk around calmly with his lighter in his hand, he had this bad habit of playing with the object. Cassano exits the building and grabs his cell phone as he walks. -Hi?... Want to go out for a drink?... I'll catch you in five minutes.

HanSeo looked at the phone screen, there was nothing on it, but he didn't even notice. In his mind only one thing was going on, Vincenzo Cassano. And not for a moment in a day and a half did he stop to think that his brother didn't disturb him anymore, he didn't even remember Jang HanSeok's existence.

After being properly arranged, not even two minutes have passed and HanSeo's doorbell rings, he runs happily from his room and arrives in front of the door, takes a deep breath and then opens it.

— Vincenzo.

— HanSeo. — Cassano says handing over another bouquet of lilies.

— They're beautiful.

— Just like you.

— ... — HanSeo didn't know what to say, his cheeks had turned red and at that moment he could be called a strawberry. — Let's go in.

—Thank you.

— I-I'm,— HanSeo takes a deep breath and tries again. — I'll put the flowers in a jar and then we can go.

— No prey.

— Want to take something. — Shouts from the kitchen, if he knew Cassano could hear even his heartbeat he wouldn't scream.

— Don't bother.

— You don't bother. — HanSeo speaks out of the kitchen smiling with the vase in his hands. And at that moment, seeing that smile Vincenzo had the final confirmation, that boy with the beautiful smile would be his undoing.

— Your Smile...

— Um?

— You don't know how beautiful it is. — Vincenzo speaks approaching. — If a few years ago someone told me that I would fall in love with someone, I kill... I would laugh at that person. — Takes the vase from a shocked HanSeo's hand by placing it on top of the coffee table. — I really want to kiss you... I can?

— ...— HanSeo couldn't speak so he did the only thing still responding in his body. He shook his head in confirmation.

Vincenzo came over and put their mouths together, with a slow kiss, in no hurry to finish, there was no fight to know who was in charge, they were just enjoying the moment, feeling all the feelings that this kiss conveyed.

And there in that moment he realized that he would no longer be able to do without Vincenzo's kiss.
