Silverstone GP 2018
The day that things changed

Jensyn was sat in her hotel room in England as it was the British GP, she hadn't spoken to Max at all, but she had a feeling he was avoiding her, he usually checked in, but he wasn't he was ignoring her. She didn't know what happened between them.

I have known you my whole life
When you were ten, you said you'd make me your wife

She decided to go to the track and she saw Max and she noticed how he glanced her way, before he walked the opposite way, he had been ignoring her ever since her DNF in China, she looked at him as she walked after him, before she followed him into his driver room, locking the door.

Eight years later you won me over
Just as I took the world on my shoulders

"Why are you ignoring me?" She asked as he looked at her, "You wouldn't understand, but whatever friendship we had, it's done." He spoke as she shook her head, "What? You don't get to stop being friends with me, when nothing happened." She spoke before Max sighed, "That's the thing, something did happened." He confessed, this caused Jensyn to look at him, with a look of confusion on her face. What had happened to make things weird between them?

I got used to living without you
Endless phone calls and dreaming about you

"What happened?" She asked him as he looked at her, he sighed before he opened his mouth, "I fell in love Jensyn, I fell in love with you." He spoke looking at her carefully as her eyes widened. "It's better if we end our friendship here, before you fall for me, because I'll only break you in the end without meaning to, I'm not good for you." He spoke, he knew her dad wanted him to stay away from her, but now that he had admitted how he felt about her, it broke him to realise he could never call her his. He made a promise to her dad, and he kept it.

Always said that you were my meant to be
But I guess I was in love with your memory

Max watched as she shook her head, "You don't get to pretend like we didn't have moments, like everything we said never meant anything." She spoke as Max looked at her, he knew he had to get her to hate him, it was the only way they would be able to forget their feelings for each other.

You know I love you, I really do
But I can't fight anymore for you

"They meant nothing to me Jensyn, whatever feelings I have for you, mean nothing." He spoke, as Jensyn nodded her head before she walked away from him, she furiously wiped at her eyes as she headed into the Red Bull garage, before she sat in her part of the garage and went over her stats and how she could improve on different things. She ignored him when he walked in the garage, her dad had walked past the garage and noticed how they were ignoring each other, whilst it hurt him to hurt his daughter, but telling Max to stay away from her, he knew it was for the best, he knew that she would get hurt if she and the Dutchman acted on their feelings for each other, he wanted to protect her.

And I don't know, maybe we'll be together again
Sometime, in another life
In another life

She looked at Max from the corner of her eye before she began getting ready for the GP. She knew that she had to focus, and she did, she finished the race in p4 Max coming third.

I know I said that I would keep my word
I wished that I could save you from the hurt

As they celebrated his podium, she caught his eye, as they both looked at each other from across the garage, "Just speak to him, maybe he's sorry." Hollie spoke as Jensyn shook her head, "He isn't, it meant nothing to him." She spoke as she grabbed her bag and left.

But things will never go back to how we were
I'm sorry I can't be your world

Daniel looked at Max, "You fucked up, she hates you now, congratulations, Max." He spoke, sarcasm leaking from his words as Max sighed, he hated how he had hurt Jensyn, but he wanted to respect her dad and what he wanted. He also knew that Daniel was right, and that he had fucked things up with her.

You know I love you, I really do
But I can't fight anymore for you

Hollie had walked over to where Jensyn was stood, and she pulled the blonde into a hug, she knew that Jensyn was hurting, she also knew that both she and the blonde were in the same boat, Hollie was in love with Daniel, but they couldn't be together he was 7 years older than the the Flowers' girl.

And I don't know, maybe we'll be together again
Sometime, in another life
In another life

They hated how they had fallen for the two guys that they could never have, and it crushed them, but they knew that they would be okay.

The way you're holding on to me
Makes me feel like I can't breathe

Jensyn had known Max almost all her life, she remembered how when they were ten, they made the promise to always be best friends, and unknowing to both of them, that was the day their relationship changed.

Just let me go, just let me go
It just won't feel right inside
God knows I've tried

Jensyn shook her head as she watched as Max danced with the brunette who had been clinging to him all night, before Hollie smiled as she saw Danny Ric, no matter what her feelings, she was just glad to have the Australian man in her life.

You know I love you, I really do
But I can't fight anymore for you

Jensyn took a deep breath, before she walked over to Max and grabbed his wrist, pulling him out of the club, "Earlier, you said you love me, but you don't get to say that and then pretend like you didn't say anything that changed us. I hate that you think you can do that, because what about me? What about what I want?" She asked as she glared at the Dutchman.

Max froze as he looked at the blonde girl, he didn't know what to do, his head was telling him to just walk away, but his heart? His heart was telling him to kiss the girl, but he remained silent as Jensyn nodded her head, "Forget it, forget I ever said anything." She whispered as she left, she left the party, heading for her hotel room instead.
