Another few months go pass and you and Hawks are now sitting on his balcony, staring off into the stars. You notice Hawks making some noise and turn your head towards him to see what's going on. You notice his wings are down and he's pulling on his collar, and he's blushing. You were a little confused so you poked his shoulder. "Hey Hawks, you okay? You look nervous." You asked concerned.
Hawks jumps when you poke his shoulder and quickly lets go of his collar and turns to you. "Oh yeah! I'm just fine, just thinking about work! Yeah that's it ahaha!" He laughs in his embarrassment quickly turning his head back forward hands clenched together.
You blinked and giggled slightly at his reaction then rubbed his shoulder. "Whatever you say chicken nugget." You tease.
He blushed but chuckled knowing at this point we had nicknames for each other, he turned his head towards you then sighed softly. "Well.. if I'm being honest, that's not really what I was thinking about." He confessed.
You run your cheek while looking at him. "Oh? Is that so? So then what were you thinking about if it's not too much to ask." You asked leaning against the balcony with your hand on your cheek.
He took a deep breath and grabbed your two hands looking into your eyes. "Listen.. we've been friends for so long and I've been hiding these feelings for so long and.. I keep thinking about the consequences if I don't let them out now so I thought this would be a good time too.." he trembles.
You blush while looking at him holding his hands. "Y-yeah.. w-well what is it." You ask shyly while waiting for his response looking into his eyes.
He looks to the ground for a couple seconds before grabbing your cheeks softly and kissing you, closing his eyes.
Your eyes get wide and your cheeks turn red, but you don't hesitate and you close your eyes, laying your hands on top of his kissing him back.
He keeps kissing you for a couple more minutes before pulling away and looking back into your eyes. "I love you.. I want you to be mine.. mine forever, till the very end." He confesses while blushing.
You stand there for a few moments before smiling widely with tears forming in your eyes and giggling. "Hawks.. why haven't you told me sooner." You say grabbing his cheeks and kissing him once more.
His eyes widen but soon close kissing you back, while smiling widely with happiness and joy.
