I was driving back home and Nandita will busy with her phone. I haven't told her about my parents coming to see her. They will be there for my wedding. I feel so blessed to have them because they gave a green signal to our marriage.

“Nandita I have one thing to say."

“What's it, Leo?"

“Don't freak out okay?" She gave me a confused look.

“Okay but tell me the matter."

“Um...my dad and mom are arriving tomorrow to attend our wedding."

“WHAT?" She yelled. I was expecting this.

“Don't be nervous Nannu. They will be happy to see you. And they want to attend their eldest son's wedding."

“Why couldn't you just inform me earlier?"

“I couldn't Nannu. It's because I got busy with the preparations. But don't worry, they won't attack you. My mom will be delighted to see you." A smile formed on her face and that made me smile.

“And I am waiting to see my soon to be in-laws." Excitement was visible on her face.

We reached our home and Nandita sauntered towards her room. I appointed a personal maid for her. Her name is Mia. She is a trustworthy person. Nandita formed a good bond with her also.

“Hey bro. What's up?" Alessandra asked when she saw me. She was reading a book.

“She is finally free from that hospital. Now we can concentrate on the marriage and all."

“Well, that's nice to hear!" She said and Nandita came down that instant.

“Alessa we need to go and check on my wedding dress right?"

“Yes, Nandita. Let me contact the designer first. Then we can go."

“Okay..." She turned towards me. “I am feeling tired. So I will talk with you later."

“Fine Nandita take rest." She nodded and walked back to her room.

When she was gone, Alessandra pulled me towards the kitchen. She took a bottle from the refrigerator and started to prepare her favourite shake for us.

“Look at Nandita. She is getting excited day by day. I want you to not spoil this happiness."

“Never Alessa. I have promised myself that I will make Nandita happy till our end. And I will do anything to see the smile on her face." Alessandra sighed and gave me one glass and we sat together to discuss some matters regarding the wedding.

I was working on my laptop. We all had dinner a few minutes before and now only I am awake in this house. Nandita went to her room soon after dinner. She seemed to be sleepy.

I heard a knock on my door and looked up from the screen. I glanced at my watch. It showed half past 11.

"Who can be at this moment?" I thought. The knock was heard again.

“Come in..." The door opened slowly revealing Nandita. I got surprised and walked towards her.

“I thought you slept." She locked the door and hugged me.

“I couldn't because I missed your presence." She snuggled.

“Really?"

“Yeah. Can I stay here tonight?"

“Are you sure? I have some more works to complete."

“It's ok. I will sleep here. I want you to be around me."

“Okay." I carried her to my bed and placed her on it. I covered her with the duvet and she snuggled.

“I love you, Amore," I whispered and kissed her. A smile crept on her face.

“Love you too," Nandita mumbled.

I went back to my table and resumed my work. It lasted for more than one hour and I switched off the laptop feeling sleepy. I glanced at my love who was sleeping peacefully. I got up and went and joined her.

I woke up hearing the chirping of birds and seeing the sunlight in the room. I remembered the happenings of last night and blushed. I turned towards the other side and saw Leonardo having a peaceful sleep. I caressed his face and kissed him gently before rushing towards my room.

After doing my morning routine, I went to the kitchen and was greeted by the maids including Mia. She is a nice girl. Well mannered and young.

“Ma'am the breakfast will be ready within minutes."

“Fine Mia. I can wait. And stop calling me Ma'am. Call me Nandita." She nodded and I walked to the living room. I saw Alfredo talking to someone on his phone. I sat on the sofa and my gaze fell on a hard box. I got curious to look at what's inside it.

“NO..." Alfredo screamed when I was about to open it. I withdraw my hand and looked at him startled.

“What's wrong?" I asked but he ignored me and took the box.

“Sorry Miss. This is for the boss. You can't open this."

“But wh---" I was interrupted by Leonardo's voice.

“What happened?" Leonardo asked. He came towards me first with a concerned look.

“Hey, you okay?"

“Yeah...I was about to open it but Alfredo stopped me." He turned towards him and started to converse in their language. I saw Leonardo's facial expression changing and now he had a serious look. Alfredo nodded and he walked away.

“Is everything okay?" I enquired.

“Yes Nannu. It's for my dad. We will know it when he opens it in front of us."

“Oh! So is it something expensive?"

“Yeah. But we will get to know it later."

“Did you had a good sleep?" I asked him. He looked at me and smirked.

“Of course. I was sleeping beside my love. So I enjoyed it." He winked and my cheeks felt warm. He came closer to me and whispered.

“After we become officially husband and wife, then I won't let you sleep much. Okay?" He said in a mischievous tone and I blushed more.

“Naughty..." I gently gave a punch on his chest. Suddenly I saw Mia. She was standing and her gaze was down.

“Yes, Mia?"

“Um...the breakfast is ready."

“We will come now," I said and she walked back to the kitchen.

“She had been standing here for a long time but didn't inform about it." Leonardo sounded pissed.

“It's fine. Don't be mad at her." Leonardo sighed and we walked towards the dining area.

Alessandra and Alfredo joined us later. Roberto went to the airport early morning. He will be back with his parents. I felt a little nervous but I calmed myself by saying that Leonardo is with me.

When we finished our breakfast, we heard the sound of horn realising that Leonardo's parents have arrived. We quickly got to the living room.

“Hey, my son. I missed you a lot." I saw a woman completely in her formals hugging Leonardo and kissing his forehead. I could recognise her easily because Alessandra had shown me the photos of her family members.

She then hugged Alessandra and they shared a mother-daughter moment for some seconds. Alfredo greeted her and I saw their father embracing his children.

“Hi, I am Bianca Martinelli. Leonardo's mother." She spoke and I smiled.

“Nandita Khanna." We shook hands and to my surprise, she hugged me. I couldn't reciprocate it ’cause of my nervousness.

“I am glad to meet the girl who stole my son's heart. You look so beautiful!" She caressed my face and I felt a little bit relaxed.

“Thank you. I am glad to meet you too."

“Hi, Nandita. I am Adriano Martinelli. His father and your soon to be father-in-law." I greeted him and he patted my head.

“Mom, Dad both of you go and freshen up. We all can talk later," said Roberto.

“Okay, sweety. I will catch up with you later."

“Okay..." I nodded and they went upstairs followed by servants carrying their suitcases.

“Are you comfortable now?" Leonardo asked me.

“Yes. I think your mother likes me already."

“Yeah of course. She was eagerly waiting for this day." Leonardo hugged me and whispered.

“I want to hang out with you today evening. After you get a proper introduction about my parents, we will be going out. Be ready after 7 pm."
