As Cartman walked into Kyle's room at the hospital, a daily routine, Kyle's eyes lit up as they always did. Cartman took off his hat and set it on the side table next to him. He gently sat beside Kyle on the bed and planted a kiss on his lips.

Kyle soon pulled away and look into Cartman's distant eyes, concerned. "What's wrong?" He asked with worry.

Cartman eyes kept looking down. "Someone knows."

He paused.

"Actually, a lot of people do apparently."

"What are you talking about?" Kyle asked, nearly sweating.

Standing up and pacing the room, Cartman explained, "Someone-on a fucking second story window-painted 'fag' all along the front. This is bad, Kahl."

"Oh, jesus. Cartman... who else knows besides Stan and Kenny?"

"I don't fucking know. That's a problem. I mean, the rain hopefully washed the paint off by now but-"

"It's not Stan... is it?"

"No. Er at least I don't think so."

Suddenly, Kenny walked in timidly. "Hey guys," he said. "Bad news."

They both shot him a deadly look as Kenny approached the both of them with a picture pulled up on his phone. He turned it towards them to let them see it and yanked off his hood.

"This," Kenny explained, "is the picture going around. It might explain some things."

All three of them stared. In the picture, Cartman was wrapping his arms around Kyle's neck from behind. Cartman's head was nudged against Kyle's neck-a clear indication of a relationship. The picture must have been taken during school one day during lunch when Cartman and Kyle would escape to an empty classroom to simply talk and enjoy time away from everyone else in the school. Someone was walking through the hallways during this time and must have caught a glimpse.

A moment of clarity shot up in Cartman's mind.

"I know who it is," he blurted.

Kenny and Kyle looked at him questioningly.

"I'll be back, guys," he said quickly as he jumped up and sternly walked out of the room.

"Oh, shit," Kenny said. "Somebody's about to have their life ruined."

Despite the seriousness of the situation, Kyle slightly smiled. The fact that Cartman reacted so quickly and so strongly in protecting his and Kyle's relationship caused Kyle inevitable happiness.

"Let's hope he doesn't kill anyone today," Kyle said, half joking.

--------------------------------------

About ten minutes later, Cartman was storming up to Kat's door with steam nearly coming out of his ears. He didn't care in the slightest that it was about 8 in the morning. He knew for a fact she did this, based on how quick Kyle and his relationship was spreading and the uneasiness of him and Kat's "break up."

He didn't hesitate to pound violently on the door, nearly smashing his fist right through it.

Hopefully the empty driveway signified that her parents were not home.

"I'm coming! Jesus!" he heard her yell from the inside.

He heard her quick, booming steps. She quickly swung open the door, and her face went from irritated to troubled and uneasy. Her running shorts climbed up her thighs and her t-shirt drooped down her shoulder. She had just waken up, as her blonde hair was effortlessly tied up.

"Cartman... What-?"

"Don't 'what' me, bitch," he interrupted while summoning all the strength he had to not even take a step forward. "I know what you're doing, and you think you can be all sneaky about it, but I knew you were fucked up from the start. And then you go and try this shit-"

"What are you talking about?" she tried to ask with a blatant fake look of concern.

A surge of anger rose up in Cartman. If she kept this act up, he knew he would not be able to control his anger any longer.

"Don't play innocent. The fucking picture. You know what I'm talking about Kat."

She simply stared, emotionless.

Cartman continued, "Oh, and I woke up to a pleasant surprise this morning. You wanna tell me what that's all about?"

She swallowed.

"Kat, I got all the time in the world, a switchblade in my pocket, and a whole lot of anger. So I suggest you help me out right now."

Her eyebrows wrinkled in fear and her mouth contorted in puzzlement as she gasped, "You're fucking crazy."

"How about you tell me the truth before you see just how 'crazy' I can get," Cartman stated with a deadpan stare.

The distinctive look of fear remained on Kat's face, which Cartman subtly enjoyed.

"Yes."

"Yes what?"

"Yes I did it, but what you did to me was worse. You deserve it, you piece of-"

"The thing is, I don't give a fuck. Stop spreading shit around and pulling stupid stunts like that or else you'll see what happens when you screw with me and Kyle's reputation," he demanded as he swiftly whipped the blade out of his pocket to, making sure she saw it before putting it back in his coat.

He turned sharply and began walking away, slightly satisfied at the fear she appeared to emit.

"Fucking crazy!" he heard her repeat behind him before she slammed the door shut, in tears.

While walking down her driveway, he smirked.

----------------------------------------

As he arrived back at the hospital that morning, his mind felt weighted with the idea of that picture circulating the school. He noticed he unconsciously stressed about it ever since he found out about it that morning just a few hours ago. He chewed the inside of his mouth with anxiety.

As he walked in Kyle's hospital room, he was comforted by the fact that he would spend the day with the one person who actually made him content and happy with at least some aspects of his life. But as he strolled in, he noticed more bodies in the room than he initially wanted. Kenny had stayed there since that morning, but now Stan was seated beside Kyle. They all seemed to be conversing quite peacefully and comfortingly.

They all turned to Cartman as he walked in, confused. They all expressed an appearance that none of them had witnessed for a few weeks now: a smile.

"What the..."

"Cartman," Stan started. "I apologize."

Cartman gazed at him suspiciously. "Why so sudden?"

Stan shrugged. "I actually sat down and thought about it for once."

Something pleasant bloomed in Cartman hearing that.

"What happened? Where did you go?" Kenny interrupted.

"Who do you think it was?" Cartman explained. "Kat. The whore tried to play stupid too, and almost put me over the edge."

"You didn't murder anybody, did you?" Kenny smiled.

"Psh not yet. But she almost made me pull the knife out on her."

From his bed, Kyle gasped. "Cartman, what the fuck? You threatened her with an actual knife?"

"Just a switchblade. I didn't do anything to her, but I think she got the point."

"I don't even wanna know," Stan said jokingly, waving his hands innocently in the air.

They all laughed.

Cartman walked and settled down in his usual spot on Kyle's bed.

"So, what happens if your parents find out about this whole thing?" Stan brought up.

"Especially your crazy-ass parents, Kyle," said Kenny.

"You know what?" Kyle said bravely. "They can just deal with it like everyone else in the school will. I have a feeling we're gonna be pretty infamous by tomorrow."

"What's two more strange kids in this town full of mentally deranged people anyway?" Cartman said as he grinned and subtly made eye contact with Kyle. Kyle gazed back with a look just as soft.

As they quickly leaned in and kissed, Stan and Kenny shot a look at each other and smirked playfully and blissfully.
