Chapter 1

The purple smoke starts to clear up around town, Vivian looked around, "We need to go," She looked at Henry, "Get dressed Henry, it's time to find out what's going," Vivian said.

"Okay, Viv," Henry nodded and got his clothes went into the bathroom.

"What was that?" Emma asked Vivian.

"You'll know soon," Vivian said and Henry stepped out of the bathroom, dressed, "Grab your things and let's go. If it's what I think it is, we need to get somewhere safe."

Henry nodded and grabbed his backpack and left with Vivian and Emma.

The three of them walked down the street until they slowly approached Mary Margaret, David, Ruby, Granny and the dwarfs.

"So, what do we do now?" Ruby asked.

"Now? Now I find my daughter and stepsister," Mary Margaret said.

"I'm not far," Vivian said.

"So, it's true," Emma said.

Vivian smiled at Ruby and they hugged, "Hey Red," Vivian said with a smile.

"Hey Viv," Ruby smiled.

Vivian pulled away and she and Granny hugged, "You're not your mother," Granny said.

"Thank you, Granny," Vivian whispered and looked at the Charming family hugging, "I'm sorry about my mother," Vivian said to David and Mary Margaret.

"As Granny said, you are not your mother," David said.

Mary Margaret walked over and the two stepsisters hugged, "Don't apologise," Mary Margaret said.

Vivian breath hitched and closed her eyes, "If I'd have known what would happen with me and my love, I'd have fought with everything I had against her, as you did," Vivian said as her voice shook.

"Shh, it's okay," Mary Margaret said.

"Your daughter did it though," Vivian said and pulled away and wiped away her tears, "She saved you all."

"I well..." Emma said.

"Uh, then why are we still here?" Leroy asked.

"That, my friend, is an excellent question," David said.

"And what was that smoke?"

"Who did this?"

"And what was that smoke?"

"And why?"

"And what was that smoke?"

The dwarfs looked at Vivian for answers, just as she was about to give them their answers, "Magic, it's here," Mother Superior said as she walked up to them, "I can feel it. Hi," She said as she held Mary Margaret's hand.

"Magic? In Storybrook? You're the Blue Fairy, do something magical," Henry said.

"It's not quite that simple, Henry, for a fairy," Vivian said and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"No wand, no fairy dust. Matters are complicated now," Mother Superior said.

"Let's go to the person responsible for bringing it... The Queen," Leroy said.

"Yeah."

"Yeah, the Queen!"

"Yeah, let's get her."

"Yeah, the Queen!"

"No, wait," Emma said and the dwarfs were about to head off to Regina's home, "It wasn't Regina," Emma said.

Vivian was walking with the others down the street as Emma filled the others in that it was Mr Gold who was the blame for bringing the purple cloud.

"Snow," They heard and looked to see Archie running towards them then they noticed an angry mob heading in the direction of Vivian's home - To Regina. "Oh, Vivian, thank goodness you're here, you're safe," Archie said.

"Safe, what's going on?" Mary Margaret said.

"Come with me, I need your help. Dr Whale'swhipped everyone into a frenzy. They're going to Regina's house, they're going to kill her," Archie said.

"Great, let's watch," Leroy smirked.

Vivian's eyes widened and she ran off, heading to her home, "Vivian!" David shouted and the group chased after her.

Vivian ran into the front garden and pushed her way through the angry mob, "Mom! Mom!" She yelled and yelped as a member of the angry mob, pulled Vivian back by her hair, "Ow!"

"Let them go! Let them go! Let them go!" Emma yelled as she followed Vivian and pushed Whale off Regina as David pushed the mob member from Vivian.

"Why should I listen to you?" Dr Whale asked Emma.

Vivian went to Regina and they hugged, "I'm sorry, mom," Vivian whispered.

"Shh, it's okay. I deserved your anger," Regina said and they pulled away from each other.

"We are not murders here," Emma said.

"Well, we're not from this world," Dr Whale said.

"Yeah, well, you're in it now," Emma said.

David walked up to Dr Whale and pushed him back as he glared at Emma, "Okay, Whale, we're done," David said.

"Back off, you're not my prince," Dr Whale said.

"Just who exactly are you, Whale?" David asked.

"That's my business," Dr Whale said.

David scoffed, "Well, my business is making sure this town doesn't go to hell. So, whether or not I'm your prince isn't the issue. We have a lot to figure out and this isn't the way to do it," David said.

"And Regina's death won't provide any answers. She needs to be locked up for her safety and more importantly, for ours," Mary Margaret said.

"What about Vivian? She may not have killed like her mother, but she tortured us just as much!" A mob member said.

"She'll be locked up as well," David said and he looked at Vivian who nodded.

Vivian and Regina were being locked up in two jail cells.

"So, we're prisoners now?" Regina questioned David who was locking her cell.

David looked at her, "If the curse is broken, why didn't we go back?" David asked her.

"Because there's nothing to go back to, that land is gone," Regina said.

"We should get to Gold," Mary Margaret said.

"Snow," Vivian went to the bars and Mary Margaret looked at her, "Could you see if Rumpel has a locket, it's oval with a rose in the middle and it's rose gold, it's something very important to me," Vivian said.

"I will have a look," Mary Margaret said and she left with the others.

Vivian turned to her mother, to see her trying to use magic to break herself out, but failing frustratedly.

"Magic is different here, dearie," Gold said as he walked towards Regina's cell.

"I notice, I assume this is all your doing," Regina said.

"Most things are," Gold said.

"Get to it, Rumpel. What do you want? You here to finish the job?" Regina asked.

"No, no, no. You are safe from me and Vivian is still protected by me," Gold said.

"I feel so relieved," Regina said sarcastically.

"I made a promise to someone that I won't kill you," Gold said.

"Who could elicit that from you?" Regina asked.

"Belle," Gold answered and Vivian looked at him shocked.

"She alive?" Regina asked.

"You are a dreadful liar," Gold said.

"I could've killed her but I didn't," Regina said.

"Yeah, you did much worse than that. You kept her alive so you could kill her when it suited you a fate worse than death. Which, incidentally, is exactly what I've got in store for you," Gold said and grabbed Regina's hand, pulling it through the bars and pressed a golden medallion on the palm of Regina's hand, burning her.

"No, is that!?" Vivian rushed to the bars between the cells.

"Yes, dearie... The one thing no one can escape destiny and I promise, yours is particularly unpleasantly," Gold said, Regina, grunted as she pulled her hand away and moved to her daughter who reached out for her. Gold looked at Vivian, "You'll be better off without her Vivian, that much is true," He said before walking away.

Vivian looked at the burn mark on Regina's hand, "Mom... Where's Hook?" Vivian looked at her, "I don't remember seeing him in town when we were cursed.

Regina looked at her, "I don't know, I was sure he would come here and hopefully you both would find each other again, cursed... That was the plan," Regina said.

"I see..." Vivian sighed and sat on the bed.

"What's the locket?" Regina asked.

"The one Hook gave me," Vivian sighed, "It has a picture of us inside."

"Vivian, if I knew Hook wouldn't make it through I wouldn't have ruined your happiness like my mother did mine, with your father," Regina said.

"I know," Vivian smiled a little, "I wish I met him."

"I do too, sweetheart," Regina said.

Flashback

A young Vivian - 4 years old, was running around Rumpelstiltskin's castle giggling, Belle chasing after her.

"Vivian, no, Vivian come back here," Belle panted and gasped when Vivian ran into the main room where Rumpelstiltskin always is.

Belle walked in slowly, "R...Rumpelstiltskin, I...I'm sorry, but have you seen..." She saw Rumpelstiltskin spinning and Vivian sat beside him watching him happily, "I'll take her back to the library."

Vivian hugged Rumpelstiltskin not wanting more stories as Belle walked to them, "Vivian, want to learn how to spin?" Rumpelstiltskin asked looking at the small girl who nodded, "Very well, sit up straight and watch as I spin away," He said.

"Are you sure Rumpelstiltskin?" Belle asked and there was a knock on the door.

"Yes, now go see who that is," Rumpelstiltskin said.

Belle nodded and walked to the front door.

Vivian watched as Rumpelstiltskin spun straw into gold, she was memorised by what she saw.

"Vivian," Regina called out.

"Mommy!" Vivian jumped down instantly and ran into her mothers' arms, "I've missed you, mommy."

"And I you sweetheart,"  Regina said and picked her up, "Have you been a good girl?"

"Yes, mommy, very good girl," Vivian nodded with a big smile, "When can I go home with you?"

"Not yet my dear, my mother is still near and the King might not understand yet," Regina said sadly.

"Oh," Vivian looked down sadly.

End of Flashback

Vivian was laid on her cell bed when the lights began to flicker and the sound of a creature roaring came from the distance as the electricity crackled. She sat up and looked at her mother who was standing, looking at the doors.

"Hello? Who's there?" Regina called out.

The doors burst opened and a floating hooded figure with bright red eyes went over to Regina's cell. Vivian watched it, as the creature ripped Regina's cell door off and held it's boney hand out then began sucking out her soul.

"Mom!" Vivian yelled as she watched in fear, not trusting the strength of her magic.

"Hey!" David yelled as he hit the creature with a chair.

The creature screeched as it threw the chair across the room then it threw furniture around and the Charmings ducked out of the way. The creature turned back fo Regina and started to suck out her soul again.

"Over here!" Mary Margaret yelled as she made a flame thrower with a lighter and hairspray.

The creature screeched, released Regina and flew out of the window.

"Mom!" Vivian waved her hand and she appeared in red smoke beside Regina then helped her mother up.

"What the hell was that thing?" Emma asked them.

"A wraith," Regina said.

"A soul sucker," Vivian said.

"Did I..." Mary Margaret said.

"Kill it? No, it's regenerating. It'll be back, it doesn't stop until it devours its prey," Regina said.

"So, how do we kill it?" Emma asked.

"There's no way, you can't kill something that's already dead," Vivian said.

"Then we have a problem," Emma said.

"No, we don't. Regina does," David said.

"What?" Regina said.

"David," Mary Margaret looked at him shocked.

"You want to let her die?" Emma asked.

"Why not? Then it goes away, then we're safe," David said.

"That's quite the example you're setting for your daughter there," Regina said and Vivian nodded.

"No, you don't get to judge us," David said.

"Let me ask you something. Where do you think that thing came from? Rumpel," Vivian said.

"I made a promise to Henry, neither of them is dying," Emma said and Vivian and Regina looked at her shocked.

"If it can't be killed, what do you suggest?" Mary Margaret asked.

"Send it somewhere it can't hurt anyone," Regina said.

Vivian looked at Mary Margaret, "Did you find it?" She asked.

"Yes I did," Mary Margaret said and handed her the locket, "It's very beautiful."

"Thank you," Vivian said and put the locket on, gently touching the design.

Regina, Vivian and Brooke were in Regina's office as Regina placed a hatbox on the table.

"Did Henry really ask you to protect us?" Vivian asked Emma.

Emma looked at her, "Yes, he did," She turned to Regina to see her pulling a top hat out of the box, "The hat. You have it all along," Emma said.

"What do you mean?" Regina asked.

"That's Jefferson's hat," Emma said.

"Who's Jefferson?" Vivian asked.

David and Mary Margaret walked into the mayor office with wooden brooms, "Torches for when it comes back," He clarifies before he's questioned about them, "I know it's old fashioned, but, so am I," David said.

"So, how does it work?" Mary Margaret asked Regina.

"Come on," Regina said.

They walked out of the office and into the courthouse, Regina held the hat placing it on the ground, she knelt down, "It will open a portal to our land. All we have to do is send the Wraith in there," Regina said.

"Oh, yeah. Just like that," David said.

"I don't understand, I thought our land was gone," Mary Margaret said.

"It is," Regina said.

"Sending it to a place that no longer exists well, that's banishing it to oblivion," Vivian explained.

Vivian and Regina tried opening the portal together, hoping two will get it to work than one. However, since magic was still unpredictable in Storybrooke both David and Mary Margaret covered them using their torches against the Wraith to give them more time.

Unfortunately, time wasn't on the side, they need the portal opened now. The Charmings kept yelling at them to get them to hurry up.

"It's not working!" Vivian said.

"What's the matter?" Emma asked.

"Magic, it's different here," Regina told her.

"Now would be the time!" David said as he fought off the Wraith.

Emma touched Vivian's and Regina's arms as the mother and daughter dup held the hat and the portal started to open.

The Wraith sent David sliding across the room as it screeched, "It's coming!" David yelled.

The Wraith screeched as it goes heading for Regina, "Mom!" Vivian yelled and pushed her mother out of the way but as the Wraith fell into the portal, it pulled Vivian, she screamed.

Emma grabbed her hand, "I got you!" Emma yelled and the power of the portal pulled them both in.

"No! I'm not losing her again!" Mary Margaret yelled as she jumped in after them.

Vivian, Emma and Mary Margaret were unconscious in the Enchanted Forest, that still existed. They were discovered by an angry Mulan and Aurora.

Vivian, Emma and Mary Margaret wrists were tied as they were being dragged by Mulan to what appears to be a small village or camp.

"What is this place?" Vivian asked.

"Our home," Mulan told her as she dragged the three into the village.

"It's like they are refugees," Emma said and Vivian agreed.

"We're survivors," Mulan said.

Mary Margaret elbowed Mulan hard in the stomach, "Emma, Vivian, run!" She said and the three made a run for it until Mary Margaret fell to the ground unconscious by Mulan throwing a rock at her head.

Emma ran to her, "Mary Margaret! Mary Margaret! What did you do?!" She yelled and Vivian went back to them.

"Take them to the pit," Mulan said.

"No," Emma and Vivian said.

They were grabbed and pushed into the pit then dropped Mary Margaret in with them.

Vivian got on her knees and checked on Mary Margaret, "Hey, come on, wake up. Hey, can you hear me, Snow?" Vivian said.

"Do you need help?"

Vivian and Emma looked at where the voice came from and saw a figure in the shadows, "Who are you?" Emma asked.

"A friend..." The person stepped out of the shadows to reveal herself, "...My name's Cora."

Vivian stared at the woman in shock, she finally met her grandmother and the woman who murdered her father.
