I was looking for some things to write about and saw a writing prompt about a train journey.

This chapter is kind up a follow up to chapter 16 ~ Our first meeting

I want to apologise for not writing anything in like half a year but more about that in the end notes.

"Lucius Malfoy, it is nice seeing you again." The boy who she met when she first started at Hogwarts has grown up to be a man she wold be glad to marry. "The same goes for you my lady." He said looking at her with a smile. The two have seen each other a lot during the summur and yet they always act like this whenever they see one other again. It's the start of their fifth year, the two of them have become good friends with each other. "It's always nice going back is is not?" She asked him while they started to walk towards the Hogwarts train. "As long as I can go back with you, yes it is." Was his very cheesy respons. "Narcissa, Lucius!" One of their friends yelled to get them to the right compartment. And so the journy began once again. That's was it always was for them, having some time alone and than immediatly losing it because of their friends. The ride to Hogwarts was boring but also not, it was fun to see everyone back but the fact that it was school again wasn't. The boys were talking about some plans to make the school year more fun but Narcissa was lost in thought.

"Does he think the same about me as I do about him? Merlin Narcissa stop thinking about him! Just because he's perfect in your eyes doesn't mean he'll be yours. But why does he always call me 'my lady' and 'dear'. He never calls anyone else that, maybe I'm not wrong? Hopefully I'm not wrong... I'm probaply just overthinking things again. But look at him, he's so hot..."

The thoughts were ended when Lucius tapped her on her shoulder and whispered to her "We're almost there, you better go change because the rest isn't leaving." She just nodded before taking her Hogwarts uniform and leaving to change into it. A few minutes later she came back and now it was Lucius' time to get lost in his thoughts.

"She's so pretty and funny and sweet and nice and many more things I can't think of right now. It's just because she looks so cute in her school uniform and she looks like a real pureblood wife in her normal clothes. Am I really thinking about her as my wife? Merlin I have fallen hard. But what would she see in a guy like me? Except my family name and status. But still she is all I want..."

And just like with Narcissa, Lucius thoughts were broken by the train arriving at Hogwarts. The first few weeks consisted of getting back into routine and talking about summer with the people you barely saw. Except Lucius he had other plans, like sending a letter to Narcissa's older sister Bellatrix with a few questions. It later became very clear why.

"Uhm, Narcissa can I talk to you in private?" Lucius asked her at the end of dinner. "Yes, of course." She responed with a smile and with a 100 thoughts running in her head with the obvious one being 'is he going to ask me out?'. And her overthinking was right, he did ask her out and she didn't even let him finish before saying yes. "Really?" Lucius asked, not believing what he just heard. "I would love to Lucius, I've been overthinking everything you are doing to me and saying to me and I can't wait." She started rambling and to make her stop he kissed her. And at fast as it happend it stopped. "I- Merlin I didn't mean to, I was just-" "Do it again, please" She interrupted him suprising him. Without even a second thought he did, kissing her with all the love he has for her.

A few days later they went on a date with the help of Bellatrix. It was perfect the pickning at the lake. It didn't seem like much but Bellatrix had writen that 'Cissy loves watching the stars so make it something at night- but don't get any wrong ideas.' "You look absolutly beautiful Narcissa. I am at a loss of words." Our charming king said when seeing his queen. "And you look absolutly handsome Lucius, now can you tell me why we're sneaking out his late at night for a date?" She asked while he took her hand to lead her outdoors. "Well I got a few tips from your older sister. So I thought what a better way then mix some of these together?" Lucius tolded her with a hopefull smile. "I can't believe Bella's actually helped. She always tolded me she would kill any man who even tried to date me." Narcissa said with suprise. "I got lucky I guess and speaking of luck, here we are." Lucius said showing his set-up for the date. She was lost for words, she coudln't believe he would do so many things just for her. Lucius waited patiently for her to say something and she eventually did. "Lucius, I'm speechless. It's beautiful, better than I ever imagined." She looked at him with love in her eyes and that was the moment they both knew.

Finally written something after a while <3. I'm sorry for my inactivity but my mental health has been very bad because of school. I've been very tired or I can't sleep at all and things like that but I'm back. I'm going to write 2 more chapters for now so leave some suggestions in the comments or a private message!
