Season 3, Ep. 1(c)- Don't worry

Patrick watched as his hair fell from his head to the floor like all those shampoo and conditioner he bought was for nothing.

All these time Richie was buzzing his hair off like it was a lawn which needed to be mowed, Patrick was smiling.

"Are you always this happy when you get a haircut?" Richie asked his eyes still focused on Patrick's head.

"No." Patrick chuckled. "I don't know, everything that's happening right now is so overwhelming." His smile went to a serious face.

Richie stops and looked at Patrick's reflection in the mirror.

Richie is not that stupid to know that there's something going on with Patrick and Kevin. Well, he certainly didn't see it when they were on a break from each other.

"It's just easier to laugh it off." Patrick shrugged and smiled again.

"I know what you mean." Richie just smiled so Patrick won't feel stupid.

"So how are you and Brady?" Patrick didn't feel as awkward now as before bringing up Brady to the conversation.

Brady used be like some sort of an outsider from the little world Patrick and Richie built.

"We're alright" Richie walked in front of Patrick and looked if the side burns are even.

"Good for you, I like seeing one of my friends happy." Patrick teased, looked up and met Richie's eyes.

"We're not that close Patrick" he shook his head jokingly.

"Oh ha ha" Patrick felt this surge of happiness knowing that they can just talk like this to each other now without referring to their past.

"Hey listen." But Patrick has to go back down that memory lane "When we were going out, did you ever have secrets from me?"

Richie stopped,"I thought you didn't wanna talk about it?" And continued on.

"Well, yesterday I was styling my hair and now I want it all cut." Patrick said sarcastically.

Richie laughed "Not all of it, I don't want a Bald friend."

Patrick pretended to be shocked with his mouth slightly opened "I thought we weren't that close."

"Didn't see that backfire." They both looked at each other in the mirror and laugh.

"But, no. I didn't have any, well except that I'm uncut." Richie chuckles.

Patrick closed his eyes as he remembered the first time they almost did it "Oh God don't bring that up." This topic seemed to be sensitive before but now even Richie jokes about it.

"I was just making you calm down. You look so worried." Even though Patrick was smiling Richie saw past it.

"Who wouldn't? I moved in with someone I thought I knew." Patrick took a deep breath.

"What did he do?" Richie stops again from evening Patrick's hair and looked at Him in the mirror.

Patrick's eyebrows met and the lines in his forehead formed. "Well I found out he still has a Grindr account."

"Patrick I think it's fair to say that every gay person has that app on their phone." Richie smiled to thin out the tense air around Patrick.

"I don't" Patrick said, it was almost a whisper.

"But you probably did at one point." Richie shrugs.

"Why didn't he delete his account? Is it like whenever I'm not around he calls someone else to fuck him or something?" Patrick was mad just by thinking about it.

"I don't know Patrick, maybe he's with someone right now?" Richie pretended he was guessing, but immediately stops when he saw Patrick's worried face.

"I'm just kidding!" He put his hands on top of Kevin's shoulder and massaged it a little.

"Well that's not funny! last night we went to this party in our building and it was like a vanilla sausage fest." Patrick rolled his eyes just thinking about everyone in that party.

"Vanilla what?" Richie laughed which made Patrick smile.

"Never mind, the point is, there's so many gay people in our new building that he could just literally call someone and they'd be rushing to him." Patrick explained his nightmare.

"His that hot huh?" Richie asked and focused back on Patrick's hair.

"Oh you've seen him." Patrick said.

"I know, that accent is hot." Richie closed his eyes to tease Patrick as he knows that he's looking at him.

"I know! Exactly! Wait, does he turn you on Richie?" Patrick asked.

"I don't know. Maybe I can find him on Grindr." Richie seemed to feel good teasing Patrick.

"Hey!" Patrick softly elbowed Richie's stomach which only made him laugh.

"Calm down! Seriously. Look if you want Kevin for yourself work this out and mark your own territory." Richie felt this feeling that he was Patrick's fairy God mother and that made him smile.

"It's not like that though, I don't know if I can still trust him?" Patrick took a deep breath again like it helps cool off his system.

Richie stops and looked at Patrick in the mirror "That's the fun part Patrick. Taking risk."

"Where did this come from?" Now Patrick looked up to his side to look at Richie in the eye.

"Experience." Richie wondered if Patrick knew where that experience was from. What he didn't know was that he was right, Patrick knew that he was referring to their version.

"There's nothing good coming out of this Patrick. You're just gonna regret it years from now when you see Kevin with someone else, holding hands, kissing, making him smile, saying I love you to him, having British sex with him, and you're just left there looking from a far with your middle aged lesbian hair." Richie felt good, being someone's guidance, giving someone advice.

"British sex huh?" Patrick teased.

"Yup." And Richie nodded.

They took a moment of silence, Patrick taking in Richie's point and Richie waiting for Patrick, hopefully to make up his mind.

"I'm glad you're my friend Richie." Was all Patrick could say, as he was.

"Me too." Richie patted Patrick's head.

"I'm not a dog! Speaking of, So how's sex life with Brady?" Patrick smiled and looked at Richie's reflection.

"Woah!" Richie laughs and shakes his head.

"What I was just making a topic." Patrick laughed and shrugged, right now that's his only option, Smile, shrug, and make sure he doesn't move or else he's going to lose an ear.

"It's good, and we also have different positions too you know. It's not just doggy style." Richie bragged.

"Ooh." Patrick teased him with his eyebrows moving up and down "Who's the top?"

"Patrick." Richie warned him to stop like as if Patrick's grabbing another cookie from his cookie jar.

"Oh come on! We're friends, we can talk about stuff like this? This is the only benefit of friendship."

"Right I'll make sure to tell Agustin and Dom." Richie said pretending to be serious.

"I'm just kidding." Patrick said. Richie didn't say anything as he was done and just cleaning Patrick's neck with a brush.

"I'm the top ofcourse." Richie said, Patrick just smiled and let Richie remove the sheet.

"All done." Richie looked at Patrick in the mirror.

"I look like a teenager." Patrick exhaled.

"Better than a middle aged lesbian." Richie pats Patrick's back to tell him to get up.

"I guess." They both laughed even though making fun of lesbians is betraying their community.

"Thank you Richie." Patrick smiled, and grabbed his wallet from his back pocket.

But before he could take out some money Richie stops him. "No, don't. This ones in the house, now I expect your full loyalty." Richie pointed at Patrick with a serious face.

"Yes sir." Patrick said in his deep voice and saluted.

"And by the way next time take a shower before you get a haircut." Richie teased.

"Oh God was it so Greasy?" Patrick thought Richie was for real.

"Oh, so you didn't take a shower this morning?" Richie laughed and all Patrick did was roll his eyes.

They said their goodbyes but it was nothing special, it's not like they're not going to see each other again.

Patrick walked home feeling the morning air in his face.

He was greeted by a couple of people when he entered the building, mostly gay ones.

When he opened the door to his new home the first thing he noticed was the smell of alcohol.

He looked at the living room where Kevin's head popped out from the sofa.

"Oh God Patrick's home!" Kevin shouted while laughing. He stood up and barely walked on a straight line towards Patrick.

"Patrick's home." He said one more time and hugged Patrick really tight.

Patrick sniffed Kevin and he was right, Kevin's been drinking "Are you drunk?"

Kevin placed his hands on Patrick's hips and pulled him closer "No! That's ridiculous Patrick." He closed his eyes and kissed Patrick's neck.

"Oh my God?" Patrick thought that it's too early to drink. He grabbed Kevin's shoulders and tried to push him away so he can make coffee, but Kevin just pulled him tighter.

"Please don't... Just... Let's just stay like this." It was then Patrick heard Kevins sobs, and somehow he was flooded with passion towards Kevin and hugged him back.

"I thought you left me for good?" Patrick felt the wetness in his shoulders where Kevin's face was buried in.

"No." Patrick said.

"I'm... I'm really sorry babe please don't leave me." Kevin lifted his face up to look at Patrick.

Patrick smiled and cupped Kevin's face with both his hands and kissed him. Although all he could taste was alcohol.

He then wiped Kevin's tears using his thumbs.

"Come on." He pushed Kevin who didn't resist anymore and he walked him back to the sofa.

Patrick grabbed the bottle and the glasses putting it on the sink. He turned on the kettle.

"Patrick what are you doing?" Kevin shouted as he couldn't see where Patrick was.

"I'm in the kitchen, I'm making coffee." Patrick shouted back.

Their new home seemed big and echoey.

"Just one sugar please..." Kevin almost whispered as he was so tired but Patrick didn't miss that.

Look at that! He learned something new. His boyfriend uses one sugar on his coffee.

Patrick just smiled.

"Don't worry."
