Pippa's POV
Lin jumps up from the couch. How is he this energetic? Like.. seriously. I'm about to pass out but he convinces me to stay up another five minutes. Five. Whole. Minutes. Why do I give in? Because I'm not gonna say no to someone I lo--like.. I'm literally exhausted and he is practically bouncing off the walls?! Lin also says that there is a surprise, but honestly, nothing can keep me awake at this point. It's not even that it's late, or that it's been an unusually long day. I'm just so so tired. just.. tired. 
Anyway, Lin is running. Legit running. To the door. I hear whispering and words that I can't make out, but I know someone is here. Is it flowers? I'm sorry. It's not worth it to stay up for flowers. I just want to sleep. I think it's more than 1 new person, because I hear a few pairs of footsteps.
"Hey pips?" Lin says loudly. I groan.
"Mhm love?" I ask, leaning my head back to rest on the edge of the couch.
"Ooooh that's a new nickname!!! I like that one!!" He exclaims. I hear giggling. Not just any giggling. The voice sounds familiar, one that I used to hear daily. This is enough to get me up off the couch and I rub my eyes before getting up and stretching.
"Surprise, sleepy head," I hear the same voice say. My head turns and all I can do is stand there. My jaw drops and my eyes widen. I love the people who are right in front of me so freaking much. My adrenaline kicks in and I sprint over to tackle them.
"JASMINE!!!!!!! ANTHONY!!!!! OH MY GOSH I CANT BELIEVE YOURE HERE RIGHT NOW AHHH," I almost yell, with the fact in mind that there are other people in the surrounding apartments. I jump on her and hug her so tightly.
"That went pretty well," I hear Anthony whisper to Lin.
"Hey ant!!!!!!!" I say softer. After I get off of jasmine and brush her off a little bit,  I hug Anthony, too. a little less enthusiastically. One, janthony is great, two, my date is right behind me.
"So do you like your surprise?" Lin asks, obviously proud of himself.
"Yeah!!!" I say. "Did you plan it?!"
"Mhm. Luckily, they were willing to come out and schedules worked and all."
Now it is time for Lin to get tackled in a hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!"
"Anytime, pip, anytime." I think that's our little thing... I smile and break the hug, but keep my arm on his back.
"Awwwww," janthony says at the same time as one another. Anthony's arm is around jasmine.
"Aww to you too!" I say, "janthony is real"
"Well, Lippa is also real," jasmine smirks. 
"What's Lippa?" Lin asks.
"Ha. You have a better grammatical sense than pip. When she asked what it was, she said 'what is a Lippa'. And Lippa, btw, is your guys' ship name."
"Huh. Immature," Lin chuckles, "both of you." He looks at me and raises his eyebrows.
"No!" I protest, "Janthony is an actual thing! It was made by the fans, or should I say their fans, not me. They totally ship it too. As for Lippa, the fans don't even know about us so therefore there can't be a ship."
"Well--" jasmine starts to say.
"Did I invite y'all to my place to bicker like children, or can we catch up?" Lin finally intervenes.
"Hah," Anthony ruffles jasmine's hair.
"See?" I whisper to Lin, "it's soooo real!"
"Okay yeah.. I can't really disagree with that."
"Staahp," jazzy sighs.
"Alright alright. So, since it's super late, but maybe we should hang a bit and then go to bed? And then hang more in the morning when we are actually awake," I say and yawn at the same time. I am over the moon right now that they are here, but I am still exhausted and the adrenaline won't stay around for long.
"Yes," Anthony claps his hands, "let's do that." The four of us collapse on the couch and sigh.
"Now I'm not asking simply to make small talk, but really, how have you guys been?" Jasmine says.
"Hah. Good," Lin starts. "Do you wanna talk, pip?"
"Sure. I'm probably gonna crash soon anyway. So do you want everything since we've seen each other last? Or just the highlights?" A lot has happened, and there is a big distinction between the long story and the short one. 
"I guess the highlights, is it long?"
"Well... sort of."
"Settle in," Lin whispers behind his hand but loud enough for me to hear. I hit him upside the head. "What was that for?!" he exclaims, and we all laugh.
"Okay okay. So, basically I left for California and was Amelie, right? Steven and I were still together then and it was all good. That continued for a little while, and then we got married blah blah blah. It's not interesting. I thought i was happy--" 
"But then I came around. How you gonna say no to dis, ladies?!" Lin shouted, pointing at himself.
"Lin!" I whisper yell. "Your son is asleep!!"
"Yes yes," he says embarrassed, "continue please." He clears his throat and looks away. "You yelled too though!"
"Hehe it's fine. Don't fret. and yeah... but still," I say, putting my head on his shoulder. "Anyway. the show is going to New York to be on broadway in the spring, and they wanted the main cast to take a break to rest and stuff. Also, its 's the swings can get some practice and stuff before they're thrown into the mix as well. We have roughly a month off. Now, it's only a couple weeks. So, a bit ago, I ran into Lin." Technically he ran into me, I think, but whatever XD
"YAY!!" Jasmine squeals.
"nice timing, man," Anthony says smirking.
"not timing bruh. but i will take that compliment," he says winking.
I turn to jasmine who is sitting next to me and whisper: "whyy?"
"Lol," she whispers back, "idk. ur look tired. do u want me to end the convo here? i can take the fall."
"I'm sorry, Jas, will you?" She is my sister and I am so tired. It would be better for all of us, mainly me,  to chill together in the morning.
"No problem," she whispers again. "Guys?" Jasmine says a little louder.
"Hmm?" lin says, "Is there anything I can do to make your stay more enjoyable?"
"Could we go to sleep? I'm sorry, but jet lag and--"
"No need to be sorry, I'm sure pip needs it too," Lin says shaking me a little to keep me awake. "You guys can sleep in the guest room." I am totally fine with that, but now I'm not sure where I'm gonna sleep.....
"uh Lin?" I say. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see jasmine and Anthony nudging each other.
"It's about to go down, jas," I hear ant whisper.
"Yeah pip?" Lin says, oblivious to the situation.
"Where should I sleep?"
"well... if ur comfortable with it... you can sleep with me? Only if you want though."
Jasmine squeals.
"Jazzyyyyy"
"Waaaat it's cute," she says matter of factly. "You guys are literally goals."
"That sentence sounds awkward. It would be better to put literally at the front or the end of the sentence. also, we are humans--"
"hah, okay mr english teacher. so are you guys gonna sleep together?" Jas asks eagerly.
"Ew. don't put it like that," I give her an annoyed look. Why does this have to be such a big deal.
"Ew Jasmine no," thanks for taking my side, lin, I think, "don't... no."
"fine, fine, but  have fun."
"you are ruining this for me, JASMINE WHYYY" she chuckles.
"ha, okay okay."
"I'm gonna go get ready," I say. "Be right back."

Lin's POV
"Okay, cya in a minute," after she leaves, Anthony and Jasmine look at me.
"So tell me, Lin-Manuel, did you ask her yet?"
"Ask what?" I don't know where this is going, but I don't think I'll like it..
"for her to be your girlfriend!" Jasmine says like it is the most obvious thing in the world.
"Oh," I pause. "tbh i haven't really thought about it that much." They look me and raise their eyebrows. "okay okay so what i have been thinking about it? Technically she and Steven are still married, soooooo" this is so awkward.
"Ew. That sucks. I don't like him that much, I'm sorry.. is that mean?" Jasmine says.
"I feel like it's a little bit mean.. but I'm not his biggest fan either so i can't really talk," anthony replies.
"I don't think it really matters, tbh," jasmine starts. "like, Steven cheated on Pip--"
"And for that I hate his guts," I growl. She is so amazing, how do you even do that?! literally how? I don't understand.
"Tell me about it. Anyway, if he cheated, he obviously doesn't care. so why should she? why should you?"
"Well, not to get to what-ify or technical, ya know, but i would be in the wrong there. If pip and I are to go somewhere, I want it to be legit." Pippa walks back in. She is wearing her white and navy blue pajama pants and a t-shirt that is 2 sizes too big for her.
"Hey guys, I'm gonna say g'night cuz imma crash soon," she says.
"Alright, I'll see you in there," I say hugging her.
"Goodnight Anthony, Goodnight Jasmine." After hugging them she pats me back and walks back into the room. I guess it would be our room now.
"Whatever happens dude," Anthony says, "it's gonna be fine. don't worry."
"Thanks ant, goodnight guys." I give my hugs, too, and go to my/pip's room to find her passed out and cuddled up in a blanket.
"goodnight pips," I say and kiss her forehead.
