Iron Curtain

--------------------------

Just as I promised to all, here comes the next chapter of the story, this time at least a little more faster.

Enjoy :)!

-------------------------

A new meeting was made by the Commander who was looking forward to explaining the new steps and plan to continue with Operation Siren with the Northern Parliament fleet.

Just after a few minutes of waiting the entire soviet fleet would start arriving at the place being in place some seconds later for the Commander to finally begin speaking.

--------------------------

Northern Parliament Base

Meeting Room

Thursday 5 P.M

---------------------------

"We can't begin with the offensive against the Sirens if we don't first take care of Iron Blood, my plan is to force their fleets to leave once and for all from here" (Y/N)

Y/N explained, along with him there was some sort of hologram showing the Northern Parliament territory map.

"Ooh, it's time to get vengeance on those Germans? I'm up for it!" (Gangut)

"Well yes, but in a... proper way, we do only want them to retreat all their forces from the polar region so we can clean it from the Siren presence" (Y/N)

"Knowing them very well they won't turn around and walk away so easily, I expect at least a fight" (Kirov)

"I'm afraid that's true, in that case, after reviewing the data collected there's no such as a huge fleet of Iron Blood around the zone, with Air Superiority it should be enough to kick them out" (Y/N)

"So, if they engage us we are allowed to open fire?" (Kirov)

"That's correct, Chkalov, Volga, you two are going to be the eyes on the sky and make sure to give air reinforcement in case they engage against us" (Y/N)

"That won't be an issue, Comrade" (Chkalov)

"Excuse me, Comrade you mentioned us? You will be coming? I thought that you were very injured from that time in the Sardegna Empire, am I wrong?" (Sov. Rossiya)

"Not only that but we have been told that you aren't allowed to do so" (Sov. Belorussiya)

"You truly outsmarted me there, haha... You're all right, sorry, I just forget about that, in that case, Kronstadt, you would be joining the second fleet in the assignment to look for Scharnhorst" (Y/N)

"As you say, Comrade Commander" (Kronstadt)

"Me and the rest will be staying around the base making sure the Comrade Commander is safe at all time!" (Sov. Soyuz)

"Let's pass to today's mission objective, shall we? The fleet with Arkhangelsk as the flagship are assigned to intercept Tirpitz in the last location where she was seen, company by her side is expected, to be more specific, a pair of cruisers" (Y/N)

In that virtual holographic map in front of the Commander, some red points would be marked showing the expected location of some Iron Blood ships.

"The approach should be pacific, we aren't looking for any trouble if it's possible, but only warn them about their actions, if there's not another way then you are allowed to engage" (Y/N)

It's dangerous for the Commander to disobey direct orders from his superiors that specifically mentioned leaving along the Crimson Axis, however, nothing of what is gonna happen the next day can be mentioned in the reports, so it should be fine, for now.

"As for the second fleet with Sov. Belorussiya as the flagship, your main task is to intercept Scharnhorst's group of ships that should be around the usual route that the supply transports takes" (Y/N)

Same as before the map would change to a different place with some red points indicating the enemy and their route.

"You choose the best approaching, either an ambush or a more direct confrontation" (Y/N)

Simple orders, there's nothing much to do until the Iron Blood fleets leave the polar region once and for all.

"As you see orders are simple, and it should be enough so we can focus on the main objective of this whole operation, which is dealing with the Sirens, dismiss for the moment and prepare for tomorrow" (Y/N)

With that being said the meeting was over, and the result of this mission will be seen tomorrow.

Timeskip

Sooo, this is just some sort of explanation about Azur Lane, you see how Taihou is basically afraid of Albacore and hates her? This is certainly a historical reference since the aircraft carrier IJN Taihou was sunk by USS Albacore.

So there, you now understand why does Taihou hates her so much even though the submarine seems to love her, it's complicated.

-------------------------

One day has only passed since the Commander arrived at the Northern Parliament base, he currently takes one day to rest from the travel and at least recover some energy for the next days which will most likely be very long, still, he can't do too many efforts due to his injuries that while they aren't extremely bad they still are healing up.

Northern Parliament Base

Commander's Dorm

Friday 3 A.M

Y/N was pleasantly sleeping, anybody nearby could tell he was completely exhausted from everything and it was for the best just to let him keep resting.

Inside's Y/N mind

As it was expected, the Commander was dreaming about that curious and monotone space from before where he saw that girl that would communicate with him every time with different messages, however, it has been a long time since she appeared in his dreams until now.

"Mmh, this place again..." (Y/N)

Trying to see the surroundings, he wouldn't find anything of really interest just that empty place before a voice would be heard from behind making him turn around.

"You're safe, I'm very glad..." (???)

Her voice was perhaps more worried than before, it seems she was capable of seeing what happened during the last weeks.

"Oh, it's you again..." (Y/N)

At least now Y/N could see in detail the clothes from that mysterious person, as he suspected it looks very similar to the clothes from Helena.

"I was worried you might have gotten... Well, never mind" (???)

"Didn't happen, someone else took that place and I can't forgive myself for it..." (Y/N)

That memory, Hornet slowly dying in Y/N's arms, it was breaking him apart, but the Commander stood strong all the time even if it was painful to remember.

"I saw it too... Another victim from all of this conflict, still, it was something that needed to happen" (???)

"What do you mean? Was she supposed to die in my arms!?" (Y/N)

The voice from the Commander seems to have gotten angrier after hearing that.

"I'm sorry, but that is one of the many prices that being the Commander means, you more than anyone should know about it, right?" (???)

"That doesn't answer my question, why was Hornet the one that suffered that tragic fate!?" (Y/N)

The Commander's fist could be seen clutching while he asked that.

"I'm afraid I don't have the answer for that, apologies..." (???)

"Everything would be easier if at least you could be more direct and tell me why do you appear in my dreams whenever you want!" (Y/N)

The unknown girl would get slightly away by hearing the sudden aggressive tone of voice coming from the Commander, who when noticed that slowly low his gaze embarrassed for a such reaction that he had.

"I'm sorry, it's just that... Everything is confusing and I don't understand why do I have to be the one carrying all the weight in my back..." (Y/N)

The girl would suddenly disappear and then appeared again much closer to where Y/N was, finally revealing how did she look like.

"Helena? You don't look very similar to what I remember..." (Y/N)

She was identical to the American cruiser with a slight difference such as her eyes color which were of dark orange along with her hair which was much darker too, but with the same light-blue tone.

"That's right, even so, I'm not the one you already know you can say I come from a different creator..." (Helena META)

"A different creator? What does that suppose to mean?" (Y/N)

"I'm afraid I have told you too much already, even so, I do hope you do not hate for being like this..." (Helena META)

'She said in the past that it wasn't related to the Sirens, but... I can't be highly sure about that, better keep my guard up even if all of this isn't real...' (Y/N's Thoughts)

"I don't hate you, I'm just confused and I need answers..." (Y/N)

"They will come... Slowly... I'm sure that by the end of the road you will find everything you want to know..." (Helena META)

"The end of the road? What do you mea-" (Y/N)

Everything faded into black before Y/N could finish his sentence immediately waking him up from that dream.

"That dream again, ugh... What time is it?" (Y/N)

Looking into a nearby clock in the room it would point to the hour of 5 A.M.

"If this keeps happening my sleep schedule is gonna be all messed up, oh well..." (Y/N)

Trying to put himself in position to sleep again the Commander would notice how after ten minutes it was impossible for him to fall asleep once again, something that actually made him disconcert for a few seconds as he sit on the border of the bed.

"Can't sleep... Was it because of what I dreamed? And it's still very early to start my routine..." (Y/N)

Thinking about the right thing to do, the Commander would proceed to turn on a nearby lamp to slightly illuminate the surroundings while he stood up from the bed to head towards an small desk with some drawers he would open in the most stealthy way possible to not alert anybody.

Out of his drawers he would pull out those classified documents that he obtain a time ago, he decided to bring them with him just in case.

Leaving them on the desk, he would proceed to change into his uniform, it was probably late to try to sleep anyways even if it was not healthy at all.

Some minutes passed as he tried in some way to do his usual routine before taking a seat in front of the desk.

"There's a lot that I wasn't informed during this war, secret things such as some operations involving the Crimson Axis fleets going inside those underwater strongholds..." (Y/N)

Reading slowly page by page he would find a curious part that would reveal some ambitious plan for building modern and massive ships using the Wisdom Cubes, battleships for Iron Blood and the Sakura Empire, even new cruisers for the Sardegna Empire.

"Project H-44, sounds familiar... A-150 Battleship... What's all of this?" (Y/N)

The Commander would basically entertain himself reading just killing time.

---------------------------

Thirty minutes later...

----------------------------

Around thirty minutes passed since the Commander was just giving some small reading before checking upon the cloak once again.

6 A.M...

"Not the usual time I wake up, but... I'll sleep later..." (Y/N)

He would stand up from his seat not before hiding those secret files in those drawers with a key and proceed to the door to open it and found one of the members from the North fleet who was passing by.

"Oh, greetings Comrade Commander, didn't expect to see you wake up so early in the morning, I was told you usually oversleep a lot" (Kirov)

"Ah Kirov, good to see you, there's no need to worry I just couldn't sleep at all so I was just finishing reviewing some papers, nothing to worry!" (Y/N)

"Is that so? I do not believe is very healthy for you to not sleep correctly..." (Kirov)

"Don't worry about it, I promise I will be fine, I'm used to this" (Y/N)

"Well, in that case, would you like to come along? I was heading for having a small breakfast like usual" (Kirov)

"Sure, lead the way" (Y/N)

And so on, the Northern Parliament cruiser along with the Commander would start walking together through the halls of the dorms.

--------------------------

Timeskip

Fun fact over here like usual, the last battleship ever built was HMS Vanguard, she was planned to have taken action during WW2, however, due to different reasons she was delayed to the point where it was finally put on service after the end of the war, around 1946 if I'm not wrong.

Without mentioning the obsolete batteries that she was equipped with, in the end, her service wasn't too active and ended up being scrapped.

-------------------------

Today was the operation that the Commander called "Iron Curtain" and if everything goes according to the plan it shouldn't be a problem to continue with the next steps to keep pushing away the Sirens.

Yes indeed, Y/N wasn't allowed to enter into combat not at least until he was fully recovered from his wounds from what happened back at the Sardegna Empire, but, the Commander kept assuring his health is fine, however...

While being at the docks he suddenly felt slightly dizzy, luckily enough he was near some wall to lay against while trying to recover from that sudden sensation.

'Damn, what happened? Perhaps it's just the cold?' (Y/N's thoughts)

With all that happened recently, the least Y/N did was rest, just what he actually needed to do in order to properly heal up.

"Comrade Commander, are you alright?" (Sov. Rossiya)

"Ah? yes, yes I'm fine just...-" (Y/N)

The Commander couldn't finish his sentence at all before almost falling to the floor, the consequences of not properly taking care of himself started to be noticeable.

"Comrade Commander!?" (Sov. Rossiya)

Fortunately for him, Rossiya, who was just right to his side was able to catch him just in time before he could fall into the ground.

Y/N slowly wakes up again feeling the tight embrace from the white-haired ship.

"Huh? W-What happened? Did I perhaps faint for a brief moment?" (Y/N)

"Yes, you did and lucky for you, I was right in time to catch you" (Sov. Rossiya)

She left that sudden embrace for the Commander to compose himself, though she didn't seem very happy to see her Commander in that way.

"Comrade, do not dare to lie to me, have you been truly resting for the restoration of your own health?" (Sov. Rossiya)

She crossed both arms while asking for that, it would be impossible to lie not with that cold gaze he was now facing.

"Well, with everything that has occurred during the last time I wasn't able to properly res-" (Y/N)

"So, you did lie to me when you told me you were fine..." (Sov. Rossiya)

"Uhm... well... I-" (Y/N)

Before Y/N could complete his sentence he suddenly felt being surprisingly lifted up by the woman who seems to be still angry with him, technically lifting a person shouldn't be a problem for them with the amount of strength they have.

Now the Commander was literally in Rossiya's arms, it wasn't that bad though, her embrace was warm as expected.

"W-Wait Rossiya, what are you doing? Put me down!" (Y/N)

"I'm afraid I'll have to carry you to your bed and force you to properly rest as it should, Comrade Commander" (Sov. Rossiya)

"I can walk by myself you know?" (Y/N)

"I don't think so, while you're here we are responsible for your safety and health, that means that we need to do everything in our hands to make sure you're safe" (Sov. Rossiya)

"That is a. particular way to see this whole situation, don't you think?" (Y/N)

"Not at all, now you better not put any resistance, otherwise I'll make sure to tell this to someone in specific..." (Sov. Rossiya)

"You don't mean..." (Y/N)

"Yes..." (Sov. Rossiya)

"F-Fine fine, you win!" (Y/N)

It was certainly uncomfortable to get carried by one of his ships to reach his room without mentioning the rest of the members of the fleet that observed the entire scene.

A few minutes passed before they arrive at the Commander's room where he would be laid down in the bed once again by Sov. Rossiya.

"There you go, Comrade Commander, now please rest" (Sov. Rossiya)

"Uhm, I still have my uniform and-" (Y/N)

"I told you to r e s t" (Sov. Rossiya)

Rossiya's voice was suddenly harsh and irritated, she's taking this quite seriously and the Commander immediately obeyed her words.

"As you order Ma'am!" (Y/N)

With the Commander literally being put to sleep, the operation planned could continue, he should be safe in his room while the fleets assigned for the mission take care of everything.

-----------------------------------

Some hours passed since the two Northern Parliament fleets left the main base to take different paths to where it's believed the Iron Blood ships have been lately, however, there would be a certain surprise when they would arrive at the coordinates.

Arkhangelsk's First Northern Parliament Fleet

The fleet assigned to intercept Tirpitz would find it surprising to see that just when they arrive at their locations only mass-produced Siren ships could be seen all destroyed in the surroundings, even so, they seem to have been recently destroyed due to the continuous fire that emanates from them.

"Tch... It seems they got away..." (Gangut)

"I do not think that's the case, they wouldn't leave such a trail just like this, they must have gone in a hurry to somewhere else..." (Kirov)

"What do you suggest?" (Arkhangelsk)

"I do only say that they were probably ordered to fall back from this area in particular" (Kirov)

"Reconnaissance planes have not detected something or someone, I do believe they are no longer here..." (Volga)

"Mmh... I do suggest we do a small patrol around the area and rendezvous at this zone in one hour, if there's nothing unusual, we shall inform the other fleet and leave" (Kirov)

And so on, the first fleet split up into small groups to check the surroundings.

-------------------------

One hour ago...

-------------------------

Perspective of the 1st Iron Blood Fleet

*Boom!* *Boom!*

An excessive and loud sound from the batteries of certain battleship could be heard in the surroundings, the flagship of the current fleet, Tirpitz, was getting rid of a Siren reconnaissance fleet all by herself.

Only a couple of minutes passed after the german battleship cleaned the entire zone, her firepower was enough to do so.

Her look was concentrated, she was examining the rest of those mass-produced ships, the task was to actually capture their technology and weapon, but well, the white-haired lady probably remember that when it was already late.

"My my Tirpitz, you weren't supposed to destroy them at all, we are supposed to investigate them" (???)

A familiar voice comes from behind her, making Tirpitz to turn around just to find one of the german heavy cruisers.

"Prinz... Perhaps I did exaggerate with the amount of my firepower, I apologize" (Tirpitz)

Her natural yet cold expression could tell that she was more focused on destroying everything in her way.

"I received a new incoming message, one of the few Iron Blood bases are under attack" (Prinz Eugen)

"Under attack? Is it... Azur Lane?" (Tirpitz)

"Surprisingly enough, it's the Sirens the ones who are attacking, we are required in there, so it would be a good time to leave" (Prinz Eugen)

"Call the rest of the fleet and told them to stop anything they might be doing" (Tirpitz)

"Oh, I'm sure they will, it's been reported Northern Parliament ships approaching our position, I wonder why...~" (Prinz Eugen)

"Enough with your jokes, let's leave before we engage in an unnecessary fight..." (Tirpitz)

"Aye aye, as you wish" (Prinz Eugen)

With the last comment from Prinz Eugen, they would both leave as fast as they could the zone, leaving that Siren fleet all destroyed.

------------------------------

Back to the present...

Far away in the distance.

------------------------------

Sov. Belorussiya's Second Northern Parliament Fleet

The trap was set, a pair of Northern Parliament ships escorting some of the convoys destined for their base, the intentions were to attract the attention of the Iron Blood fleet to ambush them and surprisingly enough it was successful.

Behind some islands part of the fleet was hiding, just waiting for the perfect moment to strike from surprise the Iron Blood fleet that would already be approaching at full speed.

Perspective of the 2nd Iron Blood fleet

The second fleet from Iron Blood was mainly assigned to hunt down supplies that were for the Northern Parliament, their strategies were good enough to hunt every convoy that they would spot.

Scharnhorst, flagship of the fleet, was the one wandering around the zone when she would spot a small fleet of transport ships going through their usual route.

Without wasting time she would contact the rest of the fleet to gather and attack together, though she didn't seem to be aware of what was going to happen.

"This wa-" (Scharnhorst)

Just before the pink-haired woman could finish her sentence, different smoke curtains started to disperse around the zone where she was, revealing being surrounded by the Northern Parliament ships and leaving her a little shocked from the sudden surprise.

------------------------

Sov. Belorussiya's Second Northern Parliament Fleet Perspective

"It was... An ambush!?" (Scharnhorst)

The minutes passed and as such the ambiance was totally tense, no one was speaking until...

"That's correct, however, we do not have the intention to hurt anybody due to stricts orders from the Comrade Commander" (Tallin)

Tallin was the first one to answer with her usual gentle and kind tone of voice, making a pause before she could resume her speaking.

"As such, we do only have one simple request that not only you, but all the ships from your faction should respect to avoid further inconvenience with our nation..." (Tallin)

"What do you mean?" (Scharnhorst)

"From now on, all Iron Blood ships have strictly prohibited to cross through the Northern Parliament, if such restriction is disobeyed, we will make sure to make it more... Clear to all of you" (Tallin)

"Tch... Just who you think you are?" (Scharnhorst)

"We are only following orders, we want to guarantee the safety of our Comrade Commander" (Kronstadt)

"So, what now? Are you going to take us as your prisoners?" (Scharnhorst)

"We do not wish to do such thing, but instead we would like to ask you to leave in this precise moment, otherwise..." (Sov. Belorussiya)

The biggest soviet battleship didn't doubt to point her batteries towards the contrary to express much simpler what would happen if they didn't obey.

The ship from the Iron Blood remained silent for a moment before she could answer that petition, what the soviet fleet didn't expect is that they won't be submissive to go away without a fight.

Some strange yet familiar noise could be heard suddenly approaching, it was a big plane formation coming to their position very fast.

"Huh!? Watch out, enemy planes incoming!" (Murmansk)

The Northern Parliament ships surrounding the German fleet immediately maneuver to avoid getting hit and in the process let the Iron Blood ships to split out turning slightly the tides against them.

"Tch, intelligence didn't mention an aircraft carrier!" (Sov. Belorussiya)

From the curtains of smoke a new unexpected enemy appeared, Graf Zeppelin, however, it didn't seem she was about to engage, as a matter of fact, she was nearby Scharnhorst.

"It seems I arrived just in time..." (Graf Zeppelin)

It was certainly a little awkward moment, however, the german aircraft carrier only took the opportunity to approach Scharnhost and remaining surprisingly calm during all the process.

"Scharnhorst, we have been recalled to go back to the main base, we cannot waste time here, disengage immediately along with your fleet..." (Graf Zeppelin)

"What do you mean?" (Scharnhorst)

"No time for any explanation, move up, that's an order" (Graf Zeppelin)

With that said and taking advantage of the situation, the entire second fleet of Iron Blood leave as fast as they could the zone using their smoke screens and speed to leave no trail after a few minutes.

"Is everyone alright?" (Tallin)

"No damages here, it was only a distraction for them to retreat..." (Murmansk)

"Shall we go after them?" (Chkalov)

"No, remember the orders from the Comrade Commander, no engaging if it's not necessary..." (Sov. Belorussiya)

After that comment, the communication device from the battleship would start making some noises.

"Belorussiya here, is there something the matter, Kirov?" (Sov. Belorussiya)

"Not too much I'm afraid, there's no sign of Tirpitz or her fleet around here, I was hoping you had luck over there" (Kirov)

"Same as you mentioned, we almost engage against one of their fleets, but they did immediately got away" (Sov. Belorussiya)

"Weird, it seems the same happened here, I wonder why did they suddenly leave..." (Kirov)

"There's nothing else to do here, we shall go back to the base to report this to the Comrade Commander, I would call it a success in some way..." (Sov. Belorussiya)

"Affirmative, we will do the same!" (Kirov)

The communication ended there, with nothing else to do, both fleets returned to the base with not too much information to give to the Commander.

--------------------------

A few hours later...

--------------------------

Commander's bedroom

Friday 11 P.M

During all the time the Commander was in bed, it seems he just went along with the order from Rossiya of taking a break for the time being, to his right side and standing still would be Kronstadt telling him all the details from what happened earlier.

"I see, so they just randomly left, curious..." (Y/N)

"Indeed, I was able to hear a little of being called back to their base, apparently something seems to have occurred" (Kronstadt)

"Is that so? Well, it would certainly be impossible to guess the reason, the good thing is that they left the most strategic zones for the Northern Parliament that will allow keeping our fight with the Sirens..." (Y/N)

"Yes, it does look like we can finally focus on our main priority, Comrade Commander all thanks to you" (Kronstadt)

"Not at all, you and the rest of the girls did the heavy job, please go on and take a rest, I'll be sharing details about our next step later" (Y/N)

"As you order, Comrade Commander, I do also hope you can recover from your injuries to come with us into combat, it's definitely a morale booster for everyone if may say" (Kronstadt)

"Thanks for the concern, I'll see what I can do about it, Rossiya is watching me so I can't move from this bed for now..." (Y/N)

As expected, there were excellent results from the most recent operation, while there wasn't too much of an engagement from either side it would be much easier to fill up some reports about it.

With the forced retreat of Iron Blood, it will remain unknown what will be their next move, however according to what the Northern Parliament ships reported they seem to have left in a hurry.

-------------------------

Two days passed, and it's certainly been good for the Commander who was feeling much better physically speaking and he was ready to once again take the lead.

Commander's office

Sunday 9 P.M

Now, the Commander was having some conversation focused on the next move with the leader of the North fleet.

"With the two recent victories, we are finally allowed to continue our fight without any interventions, Comrade Commander, what would be your next orders?" (Sov. Soyuz)

"We might want to gather the entire fleet, this is the final strike in this sector to the Sirens, weakened them here would give an advantage to the rest of the nations to do their own moves" (Y/N)

"And once that is done?" (Sov. Soyuz)

"We strike the beast's heart with all our might" (Y/N)

"I see, I like how it sounds, me and the fleet from the Northern Parliament will bring your desire victory, Comrade Commander!" (Sov. Soyuz)

"I'm glad I can count on your assistance Soyuz, it's been very hard lately with the loss of Hornet, you know?" (Y/N)

"I do admire how you are overcoming that, it shows how much you have evolved as a leader, however, how are you truly feeling?" (Sov. Soyuz)

"The real thing is that I have been hiding all those bad feelings for a while now, a leader should always keep his composure and it's what I have been trying to do so far..." (Y/N)

The Commander would stand up from his seat now facing towards a large window while he remains in silence just for a couple of seconds, it seems he was once again lost in his thoughts for a brief moment.

"Her loss was definitely something that hurts me, and I won't forget it, not in a long time before I can fully accept that it happened, but, until that, I will keep my head up and finish this war, for her..." (Y/N)

With that being said, the Commander would turn around facing once again the leader of the Northern Parliament.

"No doubt the Sirens hate you so much, Comrade Commander, with that way of speaking I'm mostly sure that anybody around you would be motivated, still there's a small detail..." (Sov. Soyuz)

Now it would be the leader from the Northern Parliament fleet to stand up from her seat to approach the Commander as much as she could opening both arms that would surround Y/N's body into a tight and warm embrace, perhaps a little suddenly, but it wasn't rejected by him.

"You shouldn't pass this entire process alone, I shall stand by your side at any time when you need someone to talk with, Comrade Commander...~" (Sov. Soyuz)

"I certainly appreciate the gesture, you're more warm than I expected..." (Y/N)

"Ooh? Was that an indirect compliment perhaps? Haha, enjoy it while you can...~" (Sov. Soyuz)

The cheerful and gentle hug will slowly come to an end.

"Now then, Comrade Commander, let us advance towards a bright future, together!" (Sov. Soyuz)

----------------------------------

After so much awaited time, the Northern Parliament forces begin with their offensive against the Sirens during the next days making a huge advance into their hostile territory and cleaning it of all their presence, there was no mercy for the enemy and as such most of their mass-produced ships were completely overrun in the process, making clear the might that the North Union have under their sleeves all this time.

Without having to worry about the Iron Blood fleet in the surroundings it was easier for them to do a massive assault.

In the process, they have also managed to liberate certain key zones to use to their advantage and it wasn't a few days later that the presence of Siren's forces will slowly reduce to almost anything leaving evidence of their failure to protect their most important captured zones.

With these victories around the North territory, the remaining Siren's forces have redeployed all around the ocean reaching other territorial waters from the rest of the Azur Lane nations.

Now, it's upon the rest to do their respective job, during the next months the Commander will expect good reports of the future combats that will occur.

In the meantime, perhaps it's time for a rest for him.

We shall see what happens in the next chapter, for now, let us finish it here.
