{ Kemper }

I've officially been living with my dad for a week. I still was a little weak but that's because I barely ate at my mom's so I'm really under weight.

I climbed out of bed and headed downstairs where I knew my dad was in the kitchen,

"Hey bub" he grinned as I walked in. He was dressed somewhat nice, confusing me,

"So I've got band stuff today. You can stay here if you want or you can go hang out at Uncle Luke's. Hunter and Logan are going over there too since they don't have school" he explained,

"Can I go to Uncle Luke's?" I questioned,

"Yeah of course. I'll text him. You go get dressed" he nodded and grabbed his phone. I headed back to my room, opening my dresser and pulling out running shorts and a T-shirt.

I ran back down and we got in the car and headed to Uncle Luke's.

Dad dropped me off and I went inside, being attacked in a hug by Logan and Hunter.

"Are you okay?" Hunter yelled in my ear,

"I'm fine Hunter" I laughed and pushed the two off of me. Caleb stepped forward and hugged me before we went to the living room.

"Okay, please don't burn the house down" Aunt Sierra yelled at us as she left,

"Bye!" We all called,

"Skate park?" Hunter asked,

"I don't have my board" I sighed, "It's as my mom's house still"

"You can borrow one of mine" Caleb pulled me up and the four of us went out to the garage.

We all got into Logan's car and he drove us to the park. There wasn't many people here so we knew we'd be okay. Sometimes with who our dad's are, we will get noticed and people will come up to us. It's a little weird.

We skated for a while but I couldn't go as long as the boys. I'm still too weak.

I sat off to the side and let the guys keep going. I didn't want to hold them back.

I heard someone come up behind me and I turned and saw my mom. I stood up quick,

"What are you doing here?" I asked, looking around hoping one of the guys saw her,

"Seeing my daughter" she spit,

"You're supposed to be in jail" I mumbled,

"Things change" she smirked, "I'm getting you back. Be prepared" she warned and turned to walk off,

"And don't tell your dad. You know he worries to much. You don't want to add to it" she turned around and told me.

Once she was out of sight, I turned around, looking for the boys. I spotted Hunter looking at me and motioned him over. He grabbed Logan and Caleb and they all came to me,

"C-can we go?" I asked,

"Yeah. You feeling okay?" Hunter studied me,

"Y-yeah. I just want to go" I told them. They nodded and we went back to Logan's car.

We stopped for lunch, choosing Taco Bell and going in to eat. Luckily I had Dad's credit card I could use,

"So what happened at the park? Why'd you want to leave so bad?" Caleb asked,

"I saw my mom. She said she was getting me back" I sighed,

"Kemper, you have to call your dad" Logan's eyes widened,

"I can't worry him anymore" I mumbled,

"If you don't tell him, he's gonna find out without a warning and he's going to flip" Hunter reminded. Hunter was right,

"I know" I looked down,

"Well call him!" Caleb spazzed,

"Let's get back to your house first" I laughed.

{ Ashton }

"So everything been okay for Kemper this week?" Michael asked as I sat behind my drums,

"Yeah. We're just adjusting. I mean, she hasn't lived with me in two years. Things have changed. I have to be both the fun and strict parent where I was just the fun parent" I shrugged,

"Well, if you guys need anything, let any of us know. You know we are here for you" Luke smiled.

"How's Kemper, like emotionally?" Calum questioned,

"Okay. She's slept with me for a few days but she slept by herself last night. I think she's doing okay. She wanted to hang out with the boys so that's a good sign" I smiled.

We figured we needed to get some work done. 

I continued texting Kemper throughout the day. She was just telling me what they were doing.

We got back from lunch and I took a seat on the couch, my phone ringing as I did so- Kemper's name popping up,

"Hey Kemps. You okay?" I answered,

"I'm fine Dad" she laughed, "But, I saw Mom earlier"

"What?" I spoke, honestly going into panic mode,

"I'm okay Dad" she spoke, noticing my panic,

"O-okay. I'll come pick you up soon. We have to talk about this" I told her,

"Okay. I love you Dad" Kemper said,

"I love you too princess" I said then hung up.

I told the boys what Kemper had told me, so they let me leave.

As soon as Kemper in the car, I looked at her,

"She said she was gonna get me back" she told me. I could see the worry on her face,

"I won't let that happen. She's not getting you from me again" I promised. She nodded,

"Can we go home and watch a movie?" She quietly asked, looking forward,

"Sure" I nodded, starting the car and heading home to relax, knowing that I'm gonna have to get in contact with police.
