—Timeskip/Flashback—

—————
This chapter will have a few bits about Vali and his mother before the abuse, as well as a hint of his abuse by his father. I'll drop a few Kuoh Town bits, specifically with Cleria Belial.
—————
This chapter took longer than usual due to constant changes, rewriting, and a few time skips, in addition to deciding whether to add a third part to the prologue, so I apologize for the delay.

Amaterasu's Palace
Amaterasu's Room
March 10, 2003
12:30 pm

Over the past two years, the Shinto siblings took care of Satoru while doing their daily tasks, each taking him care of within their palaces with the maids in Amaterasu's palace helping to take care of him along with finding out what he both likes and dislikes. In Amaterasu's room, a two-year-old Satoru is drawing a picture of his mother and uncles in his book on the bed while his mother is away. A few seconds later, as Satoru finished drawing, a knock came from the door, and Satoru opened it.

The maid in front of Satoru was Harumi, who was assigned to Satoru by Amaterasu and is currently responsible for caring for him for the past three years. She has a voluptuous figure with long white hair, violet eyes, and large breasts. She wears a maid outfit and has a low neckline that exposes a generous amount of cleavage that would make any man have perverted thoughts as well as cheat without a second thought. Despite her appearance, she was young (250 years old) compared to the other gods and maids living in Takamagahara.

Harumi: "Good afternoon, Satoru-sama! Your lunch is ready"

Harumi pushed in a cart of food which is easy to eat and digest for Satoru to eat as his appetite was quite large. Satoru stared at the food cart, drooling due to his vast amounts of food. Without hesitation, Satoru went to dig in the food. Harumi stared at Satoru, who was eating everything on the cart until nothing was left behind on the plates, noting that it took him about fifteen minutes. Satoru breathed and rubbed his stomach after eating, saying it was delicious despite the food being easy to swallow.

Satoru: "Harumi-san, is mama still in her meeting?"

Harumi: "Yes, she is Satoru-sama, but she will be finished in a few minutes. In the meantime, would you mind telling me what you were drawing?"

Satoru shows her a picture of him and the Noble Shinto siblings holding hands with the word family above, making Harumi smile at the drawing of the family. She then asks Satoru if he would like to go out for a walk since he's been inside since he woke up, making him nod his head happily with a smile.

The two would leave the room and walk toward Amaterasu's office. When they reached Amaterasu's office, they saw a woman at the door; Satoru looked at her but felt an electrical current flowing through the air, noticing that it was coming from the woman.

Harumi: "Raiden-sama, what brings you here?"

???: "Hm? Oh well, if it isn't little Harumi"

Satoru noticed that the woman had purple eyes and braided purple hair. She also had large breasts, wore a kimono, and carried a sword. Satoru felt that the air around her was electrified, making it nearly impossible to approach her.

Raiden looks at Satoru, startling him and making him hide behind Harumi.

Raiden: "And who is this child, Harumi?"

Harumi: "He is—"

Before Harumi can finish her sentence, the door of Amaterasu opens, and the Shinto trio walks out of the room and starts talking about something.

Amaterasu: "And if things go on as scheduled, we will be able to finish this within the next two months and have some time off to take—"

Satoru: "Mama!"

Amaterasu froze stiff when she heard Satoru's voice calling out to her; however, Raiden turned to Satoru, raising her eyebrow in confusion, wondering why he was calling Amaterasu 'mama'. Satoru then ran over to hug Amaterasu, and she scooped him up in her arms.

Amaterasu: "Sweetheart, you know you shouldn't leave the room until I'm finished with my meeting" *pretends to surprise* "Wait, don't tell me, Satoru. Were you lonely being alone?"

Satoru: *smiles a little* "Only a little"

Amaterasu chuckles a little, but Raiden then interrupts and asks who Satoru is and why he calls her mama. Amaterasu looks at Raiden before laughing nervously, saying that Satoru is her son, whom she adopted two years ago. Raiden takes a few seconds to process what Amaterasu has just said before asking her to repeat what she has said.

Amaterasu: "He's my adoptive son"

Raiden: "...I see"

Susanoo: 'Five, four, three, two, one and..'

Raiden: "Huuuuuuuuh!?"

Tsukiyomi chuckles at Raiden's dumbstruck expression, finding it hilarious. Raiden turns to Susanoo and Tsukiyomi, wondering if they are now the baby uncles, to which they both nod their heads. Harumi suggests that they explain to Raiden so that she can understand better, to which Amaterasu agrees. The group of five walks into Amaterasu's office, where she takes ten minutes to explain to Raiden who Satoru is, what he is, and why she adopted him.

Europe
Lucifer Mansion
July 5
11:56 am

Outside a lavish mansion in a particular part of Europe, a young boy plays with a woman while a maid watches them play. The young boy has dark silver hair and icy blue eyes. He wears a white shirt, brown shorts, and dark blue shoes and carries an air of innocence and cheerfulness. In contrast, the woman, in her mid-twenties (25), possesses long black hair and light aqua-blue eyes. She wears a red buttoned shirt, a black skirt, and black heel boots.

The maid has shoulder-length grey hair and red eyes. She is wearing a maid outfit with black thigh-highs. The maid watches with a soft smile as the mother and child play together. The two play together until a man walks up to her.

The man is similar to the young boy but is much older, appearing in his late twenties. He wore a white buttoned-up shirt with his sleeves rolled up, black pants, and black shoes. The maid turned to see the man and greeted him respectfully.

???: "Welcome home, Razevan-sama? How was yo–"

However, before the maid could finish, she welcomed Razevan home; he interrupted her, not caring what she had to say, instead asking her a question.

Razevan: "How is everything out here, Mirai? Are Vali and Anika enjoying themselves?"

The man, named Razevan Lucifer, is the father of the young boy named Vali and husband of the woman named Anika, to which Mirai nodded her head, telling Razevan that his son and wife are enjoying themselves.

Vali: *sees Razevan* "Papa!" *runs towards him*

Razevan: "Hello here, Vali. Are you enjoying yourself?"

Vali nods and asks his father if they could go to the amusement park this week, to which he nods.

6:25 pm

After preparing and placing dinner on the table, Anika called her son and husband for dinner. A few minutes passed until Vali and Razevan appeared in the kitchen. Vali sat on the left of his mother, with Razevan sitting in front of Anika, where Mirai and the other maids brought out dinner.
After dinner, Razevan left the dinner table, leaving Anika and Vali alone

Vali: "Hey, mama?"

Anika: "Yes, my little silvery star?"

Vali: "Can we go into town to buy something?"

Anika: "Of course, my silver star, we could go into town tomorrow"

Vali smiled at his mother happily as he wanted to get a new toy that he saw on TV.

??? Town
July 7
12:38 pm

In a specific town, a woman was shopping for a gift. The woman had grey hair and eyes, and she wore a white jacket over a black shirt, grey pants and black boots as she walked throughout the mall.

She entered the store to get a present for her relative, but after a few minutes of looking around, she found two perfect jade and silver pendants.

???: "Hm? Excuse me, sir?"

Store Clerk: "Yes, ma'am, do you need assistance?"

???: "Yes, I do! How much excatly is for these two items?"

Store Clerk: "I believe that the Silver costs up to ¥2,468, and the Jade costs about ¥3,689"

???: "Urk! That's alot!" 'That's about ¥6,157 in total!!! I'm running a little low on cash since I have enough for the Silver pendant for Diehauser-nii as a present for his birthday but not enough for the Jade!"

Store Clerk: "Yes, it is! Would you like to purchase it?"

???: "Uh, yes I do, but..."

Store Clerk: "But?"

???: "I would like it if you could save it for me until Friday, please?"

Store Clerk: "I see. Please tell me your name so I can keep the item safe for you?"

???: "Oh, right! My name is Cleria Belial"

Store Clerk: "Thank you, and we will see you on Friday"

Cleria thanked the clerk and left the store, sighing as she walked around the mall for a few hours until she left.

5:30

As Cleria was walking home, she stopped at a bakery to buy dessert. When she reached the bakery and opened the door, she saw many pastries and cakes on display, and she wondered which one she wanted to buy.

Cleria ordered a Crepé and two slices of cheesecake to eat for dessert. Cleria walked out of the bakery, eating the Crepé she bought, until she saw two black-haired men wearing priest outfits.

Cleria: 'Shit! Why! Why, out of all the people living in this town, did I have to run into them of all people and here of all places!'

???: ".... Cleria Belial"

Cleria: ".... Touji Shidou... Masaomi Yaegaki, how can I help you both?"

Touji Shidou was a man in his late twenties with light brown hair and light brown eyes, and Masaomi Yaegaki was in his mid-twenties with long black hair. Both men were wearing priest clothes and crosses around their necks.

Touji: "No, we just came to pick up pastries for the church"

Cleria: "... I see. If that's the case, please step aside so I can be on my way. I'm a busy woman, after all!"

Touji stares at Cleria for a few minutes until Masaomi tells him they will cause a scene if they keep Cleria here, to which Touji agrees. As both Touji and Masaomi stepped aside to allow Cleria to pass, Touji looked at Masaomi, noticing him staring at Cleria's body as she walked away. Touji jokingly asks Masaomi if he has fallen in love, to which he declines, making Touji smirk before chuckling at his friend and telling him he's just messing with him.

Cleria's House
6:20 pm

As Cleria reached home, she opened the door and said she was home to an empty house. Cleria took off her shoes and walked to the kitchen to put her desserts in the fridge, then walked over to her laptop in the living room to continue her investigation and see if she had received any messages from her family.

Cleria: 'Hm? Oh, it's an email from Auntie Calfa!'

Cleria reads the message her aunt sent, wondering if she is doing okay, if she is eating correctly, if she has gotten a gift for Diehauser's birthday, and if she is coming home for a visit soon.

Cleria: "Well, I did find a gift for him" *slouches in the couch* "But... I wonder if Diehauser-nii will like it!"

Cleria then clicks on a file on her desktop labelled "King Piece Research" and opens it, revealing the various descriptions and rumours about a mystery item. The item was a king chess piece coloured crimson red.

King Piece

Number of Pieces Created: Unknown

Possible Users: Roygun Belphagor, Bedeze Abaddon and othersCreator: Ajuka Beelzebub
Date of Creation: Unknown
Abilities: Boosts the user's Demonic Power up by several levels.

Summary
The King Piece is an Evil Piece created by Satan Ajuka Beelzebub during the early days of the Rating Game. However, the creation of these pieces was stopped because they could be dangerous.

The Evil Pieces were possibly given to a few high-ranking officials and ten Rating Game competitors, such as Roygun Belphegor and Bedeze Abaddon, the current second-ranked and third-ranked Rating Game competitors, both of whom had suddenly become much stronger in a short time.

The Great King Faction controlled the Rating Games from the shadows (needs proof).

Note — Proof and evidence are necessary to continue with the investigation.

Cleria: 'Now let's see if I can't find out more about you, little one and what you can do!'

A few minutes later, Cleria got up and prepared dinner for herself.

—Ten Days Later—

Takamagahara
Amaterasu's Palace
July 17
4:30 pm

Satoru was in Amaterasu's room reading a book on Japanese cuisines, wanting to try them, before looking outside his window into the distance of Takamagahara, wondering if he could ever go to the human world to see what Japan is like. However, three rapid knocks, followed by two more knocks on his room door, interrupted his thoughts, and he smiled, knowing that it was his uncle Tsukiyomi.

Satoru: "It's open!"

Tsukiyomi opens the door dressed in a black yukata and says Satoru's name childishly, making Satoru smile and giggle at his uncle's childish tone when saying his name. Satoru then noticed that Tsukiuomi was dressed in a yukata and asked why he was wearing a yukata.

Tsukiyomi: "I'm going to the Summer Festival in Tokyo"

Satoru tilts his head in confusion as he doesn't know what a summer festival is, much less what it is about. Seeing the confusion, Tsukiyomi explains the summer festival and tells him that he's attending it, which makes Satoru want to go. Satoru asks his uncle if he can join him; however, Tsukiyomi knows that if anything terrible were to happen to Satoru, Amaterasu would kill him, making him sweat a little. He knows his nephew should experience life beyond Takamagahara despite being a child, as he would take full responsibility for it.

Tsukiyomi: "Sure, just be sure to be on your best behaviour and listen to me. Do you understand?"

Satoru: "Hai!"

Tokyo, Japan
6:16 pm

In Tokyo, both Satoru and Tsukiyomi attended the summer festival as they visited shrines, ate cotton candy and mitarashi dangos, and played festive games such as Ring Toss and Target Shooting. The duo overs about
while walking to the goldfish-catching stand so that Satoru could test this luck for a few minutes, Satoru failed every time, believing that the game was rigid
bumps into a girl with black hair and purple eyes while hearing a yukata.

Satoru/???: "Sorry"

Tsukiyomi: "Sat—"

Tsukiyomi's eyes widened when he saw the little girl. He and his subordinates had watched her for two years and knew exactly who she was. She was Akeno Himejima, which meant that the two people beside her were her parents.

???: "Akeno, are you alright?"

???: "Yes, mama"

Tsukiyomi looked to see the parents of Akeno, the woman with light brown eyes and black hair in a bun wearing a beautiful, well-designed yukata and a zouri on her feet. The man beside her had violet eyes, black hair, and bread, and he wore a black yukata and a zouri on his feet.

Tsukiyomi: "I'm sorry for my nephew bumping into your daughter, uh... mrs?"

???: "Oh, my name is Shuri Himejima" *gestures to her husband* "This is my husband, Baraqiel"

Baraqiel: "Hi" *Bows his head*

Shuri: "And our daughter Akeno"

Akeno: *nervous and bows her head* "H-Hello"

Tsukiyomi: "It's a pleasure to meet you, both Baraqiel-san and Shuri-san. My name is Yato, and this is my nephew Satoru"

Satoru: "Hi"

Tsukiyomi stoops down on one knee and asks Satoru if he could apologize to Akeno for bumping into her, to which Satoru nods his head before apologizing to Akeno.

Akeno: "It's fine"

Tsukiyomi: "Akeno is that's a beautiful name, you know"

Akeno: "T-Thank you"

Tsukiyomi asks the family of three if they would like to join them during the fun activities at the summer festival. Shuri asks if they won't be a bother, but Tsukiyomi tells her that it would be fine. The group goes to different stands to play games and eat food while occasionally talking to each other. Shuri asks Tsukiyomi if he has attended a summer festival before, to which he tells her that he attends them a year or two with his older brother and sometimes with his sister, but the latter has been busy with work, so she rarely has time. Baraqiel stares at Satoru and Akeno playing together, mainly Satoru, due to sensing a mysterious presence coming from him, similar to that of a Gods.

Baraqiel: ".... Yato-san, did you say you and your siblings attend summer festivals?"

Tsukiyomi: "Yes, that's right, why do you ask?"

Baraqiel: "If you don't mind me asking, where exactly are you from?"

Tsukiyomi: "I live in Shinjuku but tend to move and travel every three months. Why do you ask?"

Baraqiel: ".... Just curious, is all"

Tsukiyomi: 'Baraqiel is getting rather suspicious of us' ".... Is that so?"

Shuri elbows Baraqiel before telling him to stop questioning Yato, but Tsukiyomi says it is okay. Tsukiyomi then asks Shuri and Baraqiel how old Akneo is, to which Shuri tells him that Akneo is two years old and will be turning three in four days. This doesn't surprise Tsukiyomi, but he makes a surprised expression.

Tsukitomi: 'So they are a year, five months and twenty days apart' *realizes* "Ah! I don't suppose that you know the time?"

Baraqiel: "It should be about 10:20"

Tsukiyomi gulps, realizing he's as good as dead if Amaterasu finds out Satoru isn't asleep in the room. Tsukiyomi calls Satoru, telling him it is time to go, which surprises the child since he wants to play with Akeno more. Satoru walks over to Tsukiyomi, who picks him up into his arms before telling Baraqiel and Shuri goodbye and telling them to be careful on their way home. Satoru waves at Akeno and her parents as Tsukiyomi walks away with him, and Akeno waves back at him.

Baraqiel: *mumbles* "There's something strange about that boy"

Shuri: "Did you say something?"

Baraqiel: "Just talking to myself, my love"

Shuri: *not convinced* "Uh-huh"

10:30 pm

Upon returning home, Satoru yawned tiredly and rubbed his eyes. Tsukiyomi told Satoru to get changed and go straight to bed in a severe tone, but before he could leave, Satoru asked him if he could read him a story. Tsukiyomi sighed and then smiled at Satoru before telling him that he'd read him a story another time, to which Satoru asked if he had promised. Tsukiyomi nods before leaving the room to go to Amaterasu's office. He knocks on the door before Amaterasu tells him to enter, which he does. However, when Tsukiyomi walks into the room, he notices the bags under Amaterasu's eyes due to her lack of sleep and the dim light aura around her compared to her usual bright light aura.

Tsukiyomi: "Wow, sis, you look drained, almost as if you haven't slept in days"

Amaterasu: "Please spear me your drivel, Tsuki, and just tell me what you want as well as a reason I should snap your neck"

Tsukiyomi: "Long story short, I met Baraqiel and his family at the summer festival in Tokyo"

Amaterasu: *sighs* "Great, but just tell me why you took Satoru outside of Takamagahara without my permission?"

Tsukiyomi: "I don't recall that I needed your permission or approval to take Satoru outside of Takamaghara"

Amaterasu: *tiredly glares at Tsukiyomi* ".... Want to repeat that?"

Tsukiyomi: "He's a kid and should see what's beyond this place since all he does is stay in his room and play. After all, you never know if he would sneak off without anyone knowing he left. Besides, he was happy when he saw the fireworks and played the games at the festival"

Amaterasu: "Did you even stop to think about if another pantheon were to sense his presence in Japan, Tsuki!"

Tsukiyomi: "Yes, I did. I'm not an idiot, sis!" *takes a deep breath* "Look, sis. Taking him to the human world was risky, but we can't keep him here forever! He has the right to see and try new things. Did you forget the time when the three of us used to have fun together?"

Amaterasu: *looks down* 'Of I do! And I miss those times very much, as well as how much they matter to you, Tsuki, but—'

Tsukiyomi: "We can talk about this tomorrow, onee-sama, since you're lacking sleep, and if Satoru finds out that you aren't getting enough sleep, he will be sad"

Amaterasu: *mumbles* "...Fine"

Tsukiyomi turns around before walking toward the door and opens it, but he stops to tell his sister to go to bed before closing the door and leaving the office. Amaterasu sighed deeply before leaning back into her chair, looking up at the ceiling and then out the window, thinking about what Tsukiyomi said before she swore under her breath quietly.

Amaterasu turns around in her chair to look out the window, reminiscing on the past when she was two hundred years old and having fun with her brothers, but that all pretty much changed when she became the Chef God and was given the responsibility that came with it, she stopped going out to have fun with her brothers. Amaterasu then smiles softly, remembering how much fun her brothers —mainly Tsukiyomi, had bothering her to get her to chase them and to take her mind off work.

—Two Days Later—

July 19
11:30 am

Over the last two days, Amaterasu has been resting in her room, occasionally doing her job as Chief God and being kept company by her son, Satoru, who is drawing on a piece of paper. Amaterasu stops working and stretches her arms above her head. She notices Satoru drawing something on the paper and calls to him.

Amaterasu: "Sweetheart"

Satoru: *looks at Amaterasu* "Yes, mama?"

Amaterasu: "Come on to the bed so we can talk briefly?"

Satoru: "Hai!" *climbs onto the bed*

Amaterasu puts her right arm around Satoru before pulling him closer to her. She asks if he liked his first experience in the human world, which makes him nod his head. Amaterasu then asks Satoru if he would like to return to the human world, which makes his eyes sparkle when she says that.

Amaterasu: "Yesterday, Tsuki told me that you met a girl named Akeno at the summer festival you two went to. Is that right?"

Satoru: "Yes, that's right"

Amaterasu: "Tell me, are you interested in her?"

Satoru: "A little, but there was strange about her"

Amaterasu: "Strange how?"

Satoru: "She doesn't have the same presence as everyone here"

Amaterasu: "... I see" 'So he can tell the difference between a God and a fallen angel hybrid. I guess I should expect that since he's been around Gods for two years'

Satoru looked at his mother, wondering why she was asking, hoping she wasn't upset with him. However, Amaterasu merely tapped his nose, telling him she wasn't angry with him but wanted him to be safe wherever he went.

—Two Months Later—

Amaterasu's Palace
Amaterasu's Office
September 10
8:30 am

In Amaterasu's office, Susanoo was talking to Amaterasu about the sealing of Canis Lykaon, which Ageha Ikuse had done, which Raiden had found out about half a month ago via a communication magic circle. Amaterasu thanked Susanoo, but he asked if something was happening between her and Tsukiyomi. Amaterasu told Susanoo they only had a small argument about Satoru's well-being.

Susanoo: {... I see if that's the case, please tell me about it}

Amaterasu: {He took Satoru outside of Takamagahara last month without telling me or asking for my permission}

Susanoo: *raises eyebrow* {But you don't think so?}

Amaterasu: {I'm just terrified of losing him}

Susanoo: {I see, but Tsuki is right and knows that you would be terrified of losing him}

Amaterasu: {...Mm}

Susanoo: {Onee-sama, I'm not picking sides, but you know that keeping him here would increase the possibility of him sneaking out}

Amaterasu: {Tsuki told me the same thing}

Susanoo: {And?}

Amaterasu: {And I know he is right, and I know that I should apologize for telling him otherwise despite being protective of Satoru}

Susanoo: {Good to see that! Now I've got to go. I'll talk to you later}

Amaterasu nodded her head as the magic circle disappeared. She stretched her arms before letting out a tired yawn. Amaterasu got up out of her chair and walked out of her office to her room to get some sleep after pulling four all-nighters in a row with little rest, but when she reached her room and opened the door, she saw Satoru flying inside the room with his dragon wings. Amaterasu, seeing this, made her left eye twitch a few times before calling out to Satoru tiredly, which made him stop in his tracks after hearing his mother's voice. Satoru looks at his mother before flying to her with his arms out to hug her. Amaterasu holds Satoru in her arms and walks towards her bed to sit and talk with him.

Amaterasu: "Satoru, you know you shouldn't be flying inside" *covers her mouth and yawns* "Especially inside mommy's room, right?"

Satoru: ".... Y-Yes" *lowers his head and retracts his wings* ".... I'm sorry"

Amaterasu: "Sweetheart"

Satoru: "Yes, mama?"

Amaterasu: "Mama is tired, so I'm going to get some sleep, okay?"

Satoru: "... Okay"

Amaterasu: "If you want to go somewhere, please ask Harumi or your uncles to go with you. Do you understand?"

Satoru: ".... Okay!"

Amaterasu rubs Satoru's head before lying on the bed and yawning before closing her eyes. Satoru gets off the bed and leaves the room as he walks down the hallway to the courtyard. He passes by a few maids and tells them that Amaterasu is sleeping in her room and not to disturb her or let anyone go to her room.

As Satoru arrived at the courtyard, he released his wings and flew ten feet in the sky before he fell. Satoru then practises using his wings for several hours until nightfall while occasionally taking breaks to get something to eat, as he can now fly up to a hundred and fifty feet high and remain airborne for two minutes.

Satoru then flies back to the palace to get dinner. However, he notices that his clothes, face, and hair are filthy once he reaches the steps.

Satoru: 'My clothes are filthy, oh man mama is gonna be angry'

In fact, Satoru was wrong. Amaterasu wasn't angry; she was just confused about why Satoru was dirty, but he still got punished well, a light punishment anyway.

PART 3 COMES OUT NEXT WEEK

Note
• Ankia means "Grace"
• "Silvery Star" is Vali's nickname
• "King Piece Research" is everything Cleria has on it. I wasn't trying to take too much info from the wiki since I don't know how much time has passed since Cleria learned of the King Piece.
• Tsukiyomi owns a penthouse in Shinjuku, where he stays when he's not in Takamagahara.
