we were going to all go out to eat as a family but Kayla said the kids needed to be put to bed ugh boring like what a responsible mother anyways Kimmy was all set on going for my sake only i didn't want it to be awkward but when we were about to leave her mom called her and she had to leave, leaving Shawn and I alone for the first time in three years.

"I guess were getting that date sooner than later" he said with a nervous laugh                                     we don't have to call this a date if you had something over the top plan you know one of the one of a kind SHAWN MENDES plans, I said with a laugh

we pulled into a familiar looking building but I just shrugged it off thinking it looked familiar because I live here.

"okay then lets not call this a date because you may or may not be right about the other thing"he said with a blush spreading on his face. what do you want to call it then? I asked

"its called our friends ditched us to do something better with cooler people"

are you saying m kid is cooler then me? "maybe Alex is a dope kid" hey I am the dopiest mother their is, I said and punched his arm playfully

we stood their for a few minutes just looking into each others eyes until someone wanted to get into the building and we realized we were still standing outside of the building. we walked in and went to our table, a few minutes later a woman walked up to take our orders once we did she walked away and Shawn and I sat there waiting on our phones

(ten minutes later) 

"do you know where we are?" Shawn asked out of no where, I gave him a confused look "don't worry I didn't recognize it a first either", "looked around and think really hard" I did what he said and looked around, it took me a minute but then I realized where we were, I turned to look at Shawn but he had gotten out of his char and down one one knee...
