Shinobu went on her regular mission located at the tiny part of Japan since the demons love going on a secluded area avoiding attention. She traveled there during the evening and reached there where the sun barely even see now. She smiled at the beauiful sight of the sunset, her hand steadily rested on her blade.

"Let the game begin." She smiled ever so gently.

Jumping from on top of a tall tree, her eyes immediately saw a demon that casually walked out of the dark to find any meals for the night. She locked the demon as a target, bounced from a branch to flip herself towards the front of the demon. Her haori glided gently in the air like the colorful butterfly wings, which caught the attention of the demon as she flew by and landed before him.

"Hmmm, look who we got here." her mischievious hearing sound actually ticked the demon off. He looks like he had no game to play and always jumping to the end, and it amused Shinobu to see him getting angry.

"Who the fuck are you ?" he asked, and she furrowed her brows, her forefinger went to her cheek as she began to think.

"Who am I indeed." She playfully said, and his jaw visibly tightens.

"I don't have time for any of your antics." he growled and began to march towards Shinobu, who watched him in fear. He was ready to lung his hand towards her neck to choke her, but he was stopped by a stab to his abdomen. Shinobu, who was looking terrified, suddenly smiles in his face.

"Oh, I'm sorry ! I suddenly took out my sword !" She exclaimed, which making the demon looked down at the slim blade that just punctured through his stomach. He wrapped his fingers around the ridiculous blade and laughs.

"You think this stupid blade can kill me ?" he went back to look at Shinobu who he deemed as a stupid to ever think of stabbing him with a sword thhat looks like a needle. Shinobu smiled with her eyes closed.

"I know, this blade doesn't..." Shinobu opened her eyes, a steel looking eyes looked straight into him.

"But poison do."

Instantly after that, he felt his insides burning and his face was melting. His vision was distorted and it was probably because one of his eyeballs fell from its socket, witnessig his own stomach melting.

Through the melting flesh, Shinobu cut through his side with her blade, swinging it in the air to shake off the disgusting flesh before she put it back into the case.

"One down, four to go."

She was deployed after three demons was last seen wandering through the vacinity of a small village. She was an excellent Hashira that can take down a good number of demons alone.

Running through the forest for another victim of her poisons, she even had a time to admire the beautiful moon in the sky, giving her some light to access through the dark forest. While she was running, she heard a loud footsteps coming her way. She looked down from the night sky and saw a figure running towards her. She immediately stopped and readied her hand on her blade, trying to figure out any escape since she was caught off-guard. She sheathed her blade out, but her wrist was caught before she could make any land.

She thought she was doomed. The only way she could execute her deadly poison was to not get caught in the first place, but she was a bit careless. However, she was being pulled after that.

The demon pulled her through the forest to who-knows-where. Her strength made it hard for Shinobu to stop the long-haired demon.

They continued run into a forest until there was a steep, which the demon pulled Shinobu closed into her body before she wrapped her arms around her body to slide down. Shinobu was surprised at the stunt that she was immobilised all while the demon pulled her close under a tiny hole of the ground. Her feet was being pulled closer, as if avoiding it to be seen.

Right when Shinobu finally get a grip again, she heard another loud, big footstep over them. The demon pulled her head closer to him/her as his presence felt above them. Shinobu freezed her body, and the demon did as well, until its presence gone with a loud steps on after another distinctly heard. As the footsteps suddenly gone, Shinobu was pushed hard onto the ground, making the female yelped in pain.

"What the hell are you doing alone in the forest, woman ?" Shinobu heard the husky voice and as she looked up, it was a female demon. Her face was tight, glaring at Shinobu who was still taken aback. She looked down as she felt her fingers grazed over a green ribbon laying on the ground. She mindlessly picked it up.

"Give me that." The demon said and snatched the ribbon from her hand, skillfully tied her long hair into a high ponytail. Shinobu watched everything the female demon does.

"What ? You want me to eat you ?" she asked, and Shinobu snapped from her stares. She shook her head and smile.

"Nothing. Thank you for helping me." Shinobu said.

"I don't do this because I want to. I was running from the demon too. That shit is cannibal." She stood up, and Shinobu followed her.

"What's your name ?" Shinobu asked.

"... (Y/n)." You replied hesitantly. This would be first time you being opened to someone. Both worlds are scary, demon and humans. Demon world is ruthless, while human world wants you dead.

"Wait, (Y/n)-san" you stopped walking.

"Do you have a good reason for me not to kill you ?" You rolled your eyes.

This was one of the example that the human world wants you dead. They will never consider you or any demon that is kind. They only think of you being dead and off from harming any of the human again. You never harmed any human, live only by hibernating, or if you are desperate enough, eat from freshly died human which hard to find. By the time you find any corpse, the protein always had already almost gone from its body. You starved yourself so bad but you told yourself you will never eat any living human.

You turned around, looking straight at the fair skin of Shinobu. Her purple eyes were looking at you, have no remorse of even wanting to spare you, and your eyes fell onto her uniform, where the most delicious part of the flesh would be. You could have killed her and eat her, leaving no trace. You averted your eyes.

"I couldn't care less. Kill me however you want, but before that, do me a favor." You went to look at her again, placing your hand resting on your waist as you give her a hard look.

Shinobu gulped down. You had such a good-looking face for being a demon and a woman. The way your half of your bangs covered your face and your facial structure being like a beautiful man would have. Her heart beat ridiculously at your beautiful features.

"That demon was a morphed demon that had lived for hundred of years. He consumed too much humans and demons that he evolved into more disgusting being. I will help you kill him and his other two underlings. That's why you here, right, demon slayer ?" You explained, looking straight into her eyes with your steel-red eyes. Shinobu smiled, hiding her nervous self.

"I'm Shinobu Kocho."

"Well, Shinobu-san. Is the favor comes to agreement ?"

The way you raised one of your brows, you looked even sexier than that sound pillar could. Shinobu nods firmly.

"Good. Follow me."

You lead the both of you into a more darker part of the forest. The trees seems to block ang light from the moon to enter, leaving Shinobu having a hard time scanning through the darkness, unlike your super vision.

Shinobu startled when you suddenly grabbed her wrist. The contact it made on the skin makes her nervous, but she held it in and crouched down next to you.

"They usually stay here since there's some villagers always forced to come here for water. They don't know the demons are here since no one was able to escape to tell." You told Shinobu, your face was close to her that she could barely focus.

"You will take down the two underlings first since they aren't that powerful, and I can buy you some time on that big guy." You pointed on a direction with your slender finger, and Shinobu followed it meeting a huge formed of demon that looks disgusting.

"Okay. Don't make me come and help you too early." Shinobh snickered, immediately jumping from the hidden spot to ambush them. You were surprised and frustrated as welll, but you did not waste any time to go and help the woman.

"Nice to meet you, wanna taste some of these ?" Shinobu smiled at the two demons that finally noticed her, and they quickly went to catch her.

You used any pebble on the ground and shoot it towards the demon in an incredible speed, making it jerked back a little.

"Hey, big guy !" the demon turned around to see the familiar long hair female demon with a familiar annoying smirk on you.

"Remember me ?"

"(Y/n- get back here you brat !" The demon screamed in the air, shaking the earth due to the large sound of him. You jumped from where he set his punch to, and grabbed his arm with your arms around it. He growled, shaking his hand in a slow motion due to its big size, trying to shake you off. You properly composed yourself, crouching on your two feet before you began to run on his arm and jumped, performing a kick to his head. Due to your blessed strength for being a demon, he was sent to the ground like a slingshot, shattering the ground below immensely. You snickered at the sight, but you very well know that it did not really effect him.

"Come on, Shinobu." you muttered under your breath as the gravity finally hit you. Before you even reach the ground, the demon grabbed your feet and threw you across the forest. It was excruciating, but it was worth the time taken.

Shinobu was seen flying in the air like a butterfly, positioning her slim sword flawlessly next to her before she launched herself towards the off-guard demon and injected a large amount of poison into his body. The demon screamed as it stings and was about to grab Shinobu but you quickly came with half of your face gone along withh your right arm, but you used your left one to punch his head back to the ground, knocking him down.

Both you and Shinobu panting hard, while she looks at you in horror. There was only bone left on your face, your skin was almost gone since it makes contact with the ground when he threw you. You covered your face with your hand.

"It's painful, but it heals, although it will take awhile." You told her, your face looks pale and it was a surprise seeing a demon gone pale with that kind of injury.

"Why won't it heals instantly ?" Shinobu asked.

"I am lack of nutrients from humans. I don't eat them much. I relied more on hibernating than eating humans." you told her, and Shinobu finally realized you were indeed a nice demon. There was indeed a nice demon in this world.

"Here."

You looked up to her, and your eyes widened. The female just unbuttoned the top it her uniform and pulled it enough to expose her shoulder. With the moonlight behind her, she looked even more ethereal. You raised a brow.

"Don't be ridiculous. I'm a demon, not a vampire." You shook it off with your hand, and she almost wants to kill you for stood her up. She pulls the uniform back together with veins popping on her temple.

"I need to go. I need to report to the head immediately." Shinobu said, standing up from the huge demon that slowly integrating.

"Go." You said, flapping her off as you tried to conserve your energy for a quick heal.

"Will we meet again ?"

You looked up to Shinobu, your bangs covered your burnt face as she looked down to you. Her face was at serene, and you liked that about her. You smiled at her, and her heart tugs million times seeing your first smile. She smiles even bigger, before she jumped away from there in a flash, just like a ninja.

You smiled at her last presence, staring at the beautiful moonlight that will forever remind you of her.
