THE NIGHT FELT LIKE IT HAD ONLY JUST STARTED AFTER LILITH HAD HER CHAT WITH HER UNCLE, THE SOON TO BE BIRTHDAY GIRL DOING EXACTLY WHAT HER UNCLE ASKED OF HER. to get drunk with her mates.

and she did.

lilith had insisted on getting all of her friends involved on a game of shots, and they all did, them not wanting to upset the soon to be birthday girl, her birthday now only being half an hour away.

her and tom had danced for a bit, to which didn't go well with marcus, the boy feeling something against her dancing with someone else that wasn't him.

jealousy that was- but he couldn't properly admit to himself.

billy had gone to get the group more drinks, him taking lilith with him, just so him and lili could have a little gossip.

mainly just billy telling lilith that he had noticed marcus being jealous of how close she was with tom. lili had just laughed in response, her finding it funny how marcus got jealous over her with her friends, him now understanding how she felt when they were back at kings dominion.

"oh i know that look on your face lili- you're going to make marcus even more jealous." billy said his hand  slapping his forehead as he shook his head at the smirking girl.

"me? doing that? never billy." lilith commented, taking a shot of vodka before pulling the green haired boy back over to their group.

marcus went to go dance with lilith, but was beaten to it by ethan, marcus mentally slamming ethan's head against the wall. lilith noticed marcus's face, her giving him a smile before directing her attention back onto ethan, the two enjoying themselves.

"he doesn't look too happy over there." ethan whispered into lili's ear, not allowing marcus to know that they were talking about him.

"he just gets a little jealous time to time, especially more so now that i haven't only got billy and willie as friends."

"but why? is there like unfinished business between you two or something?" ethan asked, the boy generally being curious, that and he wanted to know as much about these people as he could, considering they were so important to lilith that she had brought them all back home with her.

"guess you could call it that." lilith said, her head turning around to see marcus glancing her way also, the two just sending eachother a smile.

"oh my- you loved him didn't you?" lilith scoffed, her bringing her head back round to look at ethan, of whom had his eyes widened in surprise that someone like marcus, had made lilith actually love them.

"not at all. just liked him, till he broke my heart that is- but who cares about that?" lilith commented, her wanting to immediately change the topic, and get back to her having a good time just getting drunk at her party, her birthday only being a minute or two away now.

"hey eth, what's the time?" ethan looked down at his watch, before showing his wrist to lilith, the girl immediately looking up, excitement in her eyes. she looked to the group that were currently huddled together with alcohol in their hands.

"only got a minute left love." lex said, wrapping his arm around lilith's shoulder, pulling her into his side. lilith wrapped her arm around his waist, her returning the hug to her fellow briton, a smile on her face as she looked up to him.

lex had basically become one with the family, sure all of the king dominion students had basically become one massive family, the grey family having taken them on as their own, but lilith had always seen lex as her older brother the most, especially when she didn't have alec around.

lex pulled her girls head into his shoulder, giving her a kiss on the head, something that wasn't unusual for the boy to do to lilith.

"so when you going to friendzone tom over there?"

lilith furrowed her eyebrows as she lifted her head off his shoulder, looking up at the boy.

"what?! remember i am a boy lili, and i know when a boy likes their friend you know."

lilith shook her head, her repeating herself multiple times to lex, saying that her and tom only had platonic feelings for one another, their relationship strictly being platonic.

"okay, then what about that one?" lex said, nodding his head to marcus of whom was currently having a discussion with alec and tiana.

"lex we haven't been a thing for the past few years, ours is also just a friendship."

"oh is that what you're calling it now a days? eye fucking and just looking at one another is friendship yeah?" lex said, teasing the girl, lilith just scoffing before giving lex's arm a slap.

"we are just friends lex."

"i can't wait to prove you otherwise."

it was officially lilith's birthday. the girl being the bright old age of eighteen. now being classed an adult.

of course happy birthday's were shouted to the girl as soon as the clock turned midnight, lilith instantly feeling the love from her friends and family.

marcus had pulled the girl into a hug, him resting his head on top of hers, rubbing his arm up and down her back. he didn't have to worry about anyone interrupting them as he made sure he was the last out of the group to give the birthday girl a hug.

"happy birthday lili." marcus said, lilith smiling her bright smile as she pulled back from the hug so she could see marcus's face.

"thanks lopez." lilith said, placing a kiss on his cheek, that just making marcus's cheeks grow red from the affection he had just been given.

lex had been watching the two teenagers, him tapping billy's shoulder, of whom then tapped willie's, the three boys exchanging looks as they watched marcus grow embarrassed over lilith having just kissed his cheek.

"oh don't get all shy on me now marcus lopez arguello, we have a birthday to celebrate." lilith said giving marcus's face a faint tap, he laughed as he watched lilith turn around to face the group.

"now- who wants to do celebratory shots?"
