Y/n laughed as Mina threw a pillow her way. The four girls had taken the biggest room for themselves since it had an en suite bathroom, not wanting to share the other two bathrooms with the boys unless strictly necessary. They ended up unpacking as quickly as possible, wanting to get the best out of every day, this one included. It was already 3 pm, only a few hours of sun remaining and no one was planning on waiting until the next day to enjoy the beach just outside. However the girls had gotten slightly distracted once Y/n had accidently walked in on Uraraka changing in to her swimsuit in the bathroom, causing the chestnut haired girl to throw a bottle of soap her way, leaving a red mark on Y/n's forehead. This eventually developed in to a full on fight, the girls throwing stuff at each other and laughing their ears off.

"What's taking them so long?" Midoriya asked, taking a seat on the counter in the kitchen. Everyone apart from Shinso and Todoroki was downstairs, waiting for the girls and the remaining two boys to come down so they could all go enjoy the sun together.

"Do we have to wait for those idiots?" Bakugo grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest, his narrowed eyes flickering to the ceiling of the ground floor, a loud thud from above spiking his attention. Shinso and Todoroki came down together, the two of them only wearing their swimming trunks, a towel each draped over one of their shoulders. The two rather stoic boys looked up at the sound of pounding from upstairs, their eyebrows lifting in surprise at all the ruckus.

"You can hear everything through these walls, huh" Kirishima commented. Somehow every single one of the boys got the same thought in their head, all of their gazes drifting to the ground as they felt the heat creep up on their cheeks. They weren't oblivious to what could happen during the week. They knew they were probably going to get drunk and stupid, or possibly just feel like letting off some steam in more "creative" ways. However these walls were going to make it a lot harder to keep to yourself and everyone would probably know what had happened between everyone else.

A surprisingly loud thud, followed by a scream made Bakugo finally decide on barging in to the girl's room. He stormed upstairs, going up to the girls' room and swinging open the door, revealing three of the girls waiting around in their swimming attire, while Y/n had only managed to get her bottom part of her swimsuit on, the other one still in her hands. Luckily her back was turned towards the door.

"BAKUGO GET OUT" Mina exclaimed. It was clear that Bakugo had seen more than he had expected, especially of his best friend, his face bright red. Y/n looked over her shoulder, quick to cover her chest even though it was pointing the other way, her eyes wide with embarrassment. She never expected the blonde to see her like this, never in a million years.

"JUST COME DOWNSTAIRS ALREADY" Bakugo shouted back, quickly shutting the door and striding back downstairs. His red face didn't go unnoticed by the others, who didn't have the courage to ask what had happened. Apart from Shinso.

"Who did you see?" he asked, looking over at Bakugo from the corner of his eye. Midoriya choked on his own saliva as Kaminari almost exploded internally. Deep down he was cursing Bakugo for being so lucky to see one of the girls possibly a little more naked than expected. Bakugo's eyes widened as he looked over at Shinso, who simply shrugged his shoulders, seeming as if he didn't really care who it was. The violet haired boy would never admit it, but he was curious as to who out of all the girls had been able to make the Bakugo Katsuki feel this flustered.

Bakugo seemed hesitant to reply as he looked down to the ground, the image of Y/n's bare back and cute swimsuit burned in to the front of his mind. If he fluttered his eyelids closed, he could replay the moment in his head.

"Y/n" he simply stated, his cheeks a light shade of pink. He grumbled something inaudible under his breath before going to wait outside, preferring the unbearable heat to staying inside and having to face the guys about it.
Kaminari almost passed away as he heard her name, his mind going to a very wild place as Shinso just pinched the bridge of his nose.
He tried to force his brain to not try and imagine what that would be like, his pride trying to surpass his teenage hormones. However the other boys didn't seem so worried about showing exactly what they were thinking through their burning faces and embarrassed looks.
Todoroki and Iida were the only ones who kept it together, awkwardly looking between each other and glancing over at Shinso.

"Ok, we're here!" Mina exclaimed, running down the stairs and past the boys, ready to pounce straight in to the crystal clear water outside.
Tsuyu, Uraraka and Y/n followed close behind, the three of them a little less carefree and a little more conscious about what they were wearing.
Shinso's eyes rested on Y/n as she walked passed him, a sarong draped around her waist, covering the bottom half of her body. Only for a second, he let his mind do whatever it liked, his cheeks turning the lightest shade of red as he cast his gaze to the side.
Never in his 18 years of life had he let himself think about someone else like that, whether it was a boy or a girl. He had always been so focused on scaring people away and on training to be a hero, that he had never even tried to give in to his more personal and intimate side. This felt all very new to him, the carefree ambience of the place already clearly seeping in to him.

Y/n walked out in to the sun, the ocean breeze blowing past the group of teenagers. All of their problems and worries were temporarily swept away with that one gust of wind, the only thought in their mind being the one to enjoy the days they had here at the fullest. Sero turned to Kaminari and Kirishima, the three giving each other a grin.

"Ready?" the redhead asked, giving the other two a thumbs up.

They didn't speak another word as they sped off towards the blue ocean, ignoring the small drops of sweat forming along their face and neck under the summery heat. After all, it was all going to be washed away by the salty waves in front of them. Mina grabbed Tsuyu as the two followed close behind the boys, Uraraka joining in by holding on to Midoriya and pulling him behind her. Todoroki shielded his eyes with his hand, admiring the scene, a small smile on his lips.

"Help me take these Todoroki, we'll need a place to rest away from the sun to not burn ourselves" Iida said, coming out of the house with three big beach umbrellas. He handed one to the bi-coloured teen.

"I'll take the other" Y/n smiled, outstretching her hands so Iida could place the third one in her arms. He was about to do so when Y/n suddenly got swept off her feet, her body laying limp over a rather broad shoulder.

"NO you won't. You're here to relax" Bakugo huffed, ripping the beach umbrella out of Iida's hands and taking it with him under his right arm, the left one safely wrapped around Y/n's torso.

"Katsuki let go!" Y/n exclaimed, hitting her fists on him, her head hanging upside down so she had a clear view of his back muscles relaxing and contracting at every shift in his body. Shinso quietly walked behind, his eyes following the couple of best friends in front of him. If he didn't know better, he would assume they were together, however it was easy to see that Bakugo just wanted the best for his childhood best friend. Shinso couldn't help but feel curious about the girl, the way she meant so much to Bakugo and was treated so nicely by him, in his own weird way, felt odd but also weirdly fascinating. What was it about her that made the angry blonde feel so protective over her?

Y/n lifted her head from her position over her best friend's shoulder, her eyes adjusting on the boy with the purple hair walking behind them. She couldn't really focus on his face, not being able to read his expression due to the constant movement of her body as Bakugo walked. Y/n couldn't understand how Shinso was able to look so calm and collected at the beach. It wasn't something normal for people in the city to see, also she guessed that with how challenging and tiring UA was, he probably wasn't one to go to the beach every weekend. That was also quite noticeable due to his very pale complexion. No one that spent a lot of time at the beach or out in general could look that pale.

Y/n felt her body suddenly drop, Bakugo rolling her off of his shoulder and on to a beach towel. She let out a squeal as she felt herself hit the surprisingly hard surface, the soft fabric of the towel not helping her landing in any way. Bakugo smirked as he left her there, walking farther in to the shore, his feet stopping in the spot where the waves met the sand. Y/n smiled as she watched him stretch, staying in her spot on the towel. She averted her gaze to the warm sand surrounding her, the shadow of the beach umbrella looming over her as Todoroki and Iida hoisted them up. Shinso stopped as he noticed Y/n's sitting form under the umbrellas, his eyebrows furrowing. He had expected her to jump in to the salty water with everyone else as soon as she could. She seemed so excited just over half an hour ago to be here, yet here she was, sitting now alone in the shade.

"You'll get burnt you know" her voice broke him out of his train of thoughts, his gaze drifting over to her smiling face. He focused on what she said, nodding in silent agreement. He was worryingly pale after all.

"Could you do my back?" he asked, his words coming out of him before he could register what he was asking. For moment he thought about what he asked as something extremely awkward and stupid, who know what she could have thought about it, however it was also plausible for him to ask her. After all everyone else was now in the water, their hands way to wet to put sunscreen on him. Shinso eyed the girl, who didn't seem fazed at all by his question. Y/n softly shifted to the side of the towel, letting him sit in front of her as she took out her own sun cream.

Y/n eyed the boy as he knelt on her towel, his back facing her. She felt her face redden and mentally blamed the heat of the beach for her now burning cheeks, but she couldn't lie to herself. She hadn't noticed how broad his shoulders were until now and how well he had worked out every single muscles in him. Sure, she had noticed his impressive build some time ago, but this was the first time she had seen him so up close. Y/n squeezed some cream in to her palm before rubbing her hands together. Shinso didn't make a sound as he waited, his muscles suddenly stiff as he realised what was about to happen. He was going to have a girl's hands all over his bare skin, a girl he barely even knew. He tried to focus his mind on something else, his eyes shut tight as he tried to regain some control over his thoughts. He had never felt so little in control over himself, he had no idea what was happening to him.

Y/n's fingers gingerly hovered over his pale shoulders, her mind filled with overlapping thoughts.

I'm just helping him to not get burnt. He asked me to do this, there's nothing wrong with touching...him

Y/n let out a breath as she placed her cream covered hands on his shoulders, moving them in big, slow circles. She felt how stiff his body was and let out a light laugh.

"Why didn't you jump in to the water with everyone else? You looked excited to be here" his voice was soft, his hard exterior crumbling under the warm feeling on his skin and the relaxing movements of her hands on his back. Y/n hesitated to reply, feeling a little embarrassed about the answer she was going to give him.

"I- I don't know how to swim" she confessed, her gaze fixed on his skin. Shinso let out a breathy laugh, not expecting that to be her answer once ha had asked the question.

"Are you coming in or what?" came a loud voice from the sea. The two of them looked up, torn away from the little bubble they had formed around them, facing a jet black haired boy. Sero let out another shout as Kaminari tackled him underwater. Y/n seemed all the more hesitant to go now, seeing how energetic and violent everyone else was being.

"I don't want to get in the way of their fun" Y/n sighed. She worried about the others having to refrain themselves around her, wanting for them to go all out and have as much fun as they wanted. Shinso noted how she stopped moving her hands. He turned his head over his shoulder, meeting her concerned gaze. Softly, his features relaxed, a small smile placing itself on his face.

"I'll teach you if you want"
