Though predators may say that they will not be merciful and use preys as their entertainment purposes by hurting and downgrading them.

As long as they are not from the Kingdom.

That's right, preys there have been given big roles and those said predators are not happy with it since they received power over them.

But no one dares to go and protest about the important roles being given to the 'weaker' side of the animal kingdom.

They are terrified of the King.

"Taehyung hyung"

The addressed man was a bit occupied with doing his paper duties. As he was just about to finish them all, the call of his name was heard and he turned around to acknowledge them.

He hummed in reply.

"I.. I want to talk about something.. of importance"

Taehyung knew where this conversation is going and he could only turn his head back to the paperwork. They've talked about this many times, yet the other is stubborn.

Which is why he heard an annoyed huff.

Footsteps stomped their way beside him, but he didn't spare them a glance and continued his paperwork.

"Hyung!" A whine came out.

Just as the person was about to protest more, Taehyung's stern voice cut him off and only one word came out.

"Beomgyu.."

The younger shut his mouth immediately, knowing he shouldn't push him anymore or he will be punished. Unfortunately, he felt a boost of confidence and stayed in place.

"But hyung, I don't fit to be a King"

A sigh left Taehyung's lips at hearing this.

They're quite a unique duo, Taehyung and Beomgyu are both brothers, yet they're breed is different from one another.

In this time, it is quite uncommon for hybrids who are different from species be associated with each other as lovers and have a family together.

Fortunately, they let this one off the hook as long as both are predators.

The world will be in a state of shock and disbelief if a predator and prey ever get together. It's found to be nearly impossible for such differences maintain a healthy relationship.

They might even try to throw stones at such a forbidden love.

"As do I, my dear brother"

The older of the two could only reply with, sadly it wasn't the answer the bear cub was looking for.

"But you're a white tiger! They're known to have great leadership and power-"

"Did we not talk about not involving species to choose who is more responsible and fit for roles?"

Beomgyu's ears flattened and instantly apologized for the ignorance his mind conjured up with.

"I-I'm sorry, I just.. want to make an excuse and-"

"Remember, little one" Taehyung lectured.

"A lion can be a florist with pretty roses and a mouse can be in charge to lead an entire army"

The King organized his papers neatly before continuing his speech on the younger.

"Not matter who you are, your breed, your identity, anyone can be whatever they wish to be... as long as they set their minds to it"

This is the reason why Taehyung is known to be the most beloved and praised ruler of them all. His open mind and kind heart has captured all their people's support for him.

Only those who chose to shut their minds can only curse his name under their breaths when it involved him letting prey and predator live in 'harmony'.

Though, no one dares to protest to the King because he is stern on his decisions and what those ignorant people want is something that could potentially anger him and be punished for such mind sets.

But, if only Taehyung knew how the predators hurt the prey behind his back.

The King stood up from his seat and with such light steps and grace, approached his little brother and stared down at him.

"Do you understand, Kim Beomgyu?"

"U-.. Understood, hyung"

Taehyung didn't even spare the younger some mercy. He loathes such discrimination in the animal kingdom, he will do anything for peace to come between preys and predators.

"Make sure you engrave this not only in your mind, but also your heart"

With a nod from the prince, Taehyung reached his hand out to softly pat his head, reassuring the former.

As Beomgyu watched his hyung's back disappear after the door closed. He mumbled to himself.

"But what if it's not about being fit to be King? What if... I just don't want to be one?"

He desperately wishes to gain the courage to tell his brother, but only time can tell.

"Your majesty, your presence is needed from one of your people" Taehyung's butler informed of him.

"Is it alright to assume it's the usual?"

"Afraid so, your majesty"

The King only held a neutral expression. It became a daily routine at this point, someone had to trouble the citizens in the Kingdom, but he couldn't really feel irritation.

The reason behind will soon be revealed after Taehyung deals with the situation at hand.

"Shall I prepare your afternoon tea a bit earlier than the usual time?"

As much as Taehyung wants a drink to energize his body, he might as well drain the entirety of it first, so he declined the offer.

The butler nodded and was about to bow to his grace, but the latter stopped him with a hand on his forehead softly.

"Have you forgetten that you are not allowed to bow, Kai?"

"M-My apologies, your Majesty"

The tiger hummed, patting the butler's shoulder a bit to reassure him it's alright.

"You cannot help, but be respectful to your King" Taehyung stared up at the head of the butler's head.

"Although, your horns might hurt not only the person you bow to, but also yourself"

Hyuka was about to bow again to apologize, but soon caught up and stopped himself from continuing the action.

"It is one of the reasons why I do not like being a dear hybrid, it prevents me from properly respecting you, your Majesty"

The older shook his head at this, he glanced at the dear's horns with a satisfied hum.

"It's what makes you a hybrid, Kai. Be proud of how much they grown so healthily"

The butler was so flattered with the King's kind words that he again ready to bow as a way to show gratitude.

"Kai"

Hyuka froze.

"I... I will try to practice not.. bowing, your Majesty"

"I wish you luck on this"

Their conversation ended just like that since they still have to go to the hall where the King sits on his throne and his people come to visit his grace.

However, it had become the room of whines and complaints from hybrids.

Specifically predators. For the same reason.

"It's the Thumper again, your Majesty!!!"

How the King wishes to sigh tiredly about this situation, but he had to remain stoic on the outside to be a proper Ruler in front of his people.

His eyes scanned the hybrid's figure, but he mostly focused on their legs.

Slashed.

It's definitely the Thumper who've done it, no doubt.

It's always the signature spot from the masked hybrid. One of the reasons why they got the name, that have gotten so well-known in the entire Kingdom.

Many praised that name, while some cursed it like some demon from the underworld.

Almost everyone say that the bunny mask is some sort of trick to make them think the masked hybrid is prey, the most fragile of them all: a Bunny.

Except for the King, no one should ever underestimate such delicate creatures.

They may look like they can break with a flick of a finger, but they can be the most vicious animals if they trained hard for it.

Chances are low, but never zero.

"However it doesn't matter for I finally figured out what species Thumper is categorized under!"

Now this got Taehyung's attention, he rest his chin at the back of his palm and leaned in to listen more attentively.

"He's a wolf hybrid, your Majesty!"

Atleast this one is better than the hawk hybrid theory.

"How are you so sure about this one?"

What the wolf hybrid said next made the King lose his brain cells, he sometimes wonder if this really are his people.

"His hair is a wolfcut!"

He massaged his temples and the wolf's words only fell in dead ears as Taehyung tried to calm himself down from saying something a bit insulting to the villager.

Turns out he has no need for it because a voice joined in their conversation.

"Where you dropped as a baby or something, wolf?"

They both turned their heads towards the owner of the voice and there they see a cat hybrid.

"General Yoongi" the wolf quivered.

"So if I gotten a beehive haircut, am I a fucking insect?"

"General-"

Taehyung was about to order the older to soften his words or just not speak anymore, but the general only continued on.

"This is why we could never find the Thumper because all your theories have been nothing, but dumbassery"

It would've been a funny scene to watch in a different point of view, a wolf dropping his head to a cat, especially when the sizes are drastically different.

Although it's not really a common thing for the feline hyung to be bowed by hybrids larger and more strength wise than himself. He's the Kingdom's General, the one who leads and trains the Kingdom's army for possible war.

He had proven his worth for this position by single-handedly defeating 5 of what majority considered as the most powerful species of predators.

Lion, Polar Bear, Golden Eagle, Snow Leopard and a Komodo Dragon.

Yoongi is not physically strong, but his agility and speed can make up for it to destroy them all.

In the King's opinion, his ways to observe his enemies and awareness of his surroundings is the cat hybrid's true strength.

The feline's tail swayed side-to-side in clear annoyance at this idiotic wolf.

"It's so obvious that the Thumper is playing with your heads for fun because they know how fucking brainless you mutts are"

The King could only stay quiet and lets the older speak his words bluntly, he will allow Yoongi do all the harsh bluntness.

"Wolfcut my ass, piece of dog shit. We'll never catch Thumper like this!"

Taehyung doesn't actually mind that. He doesn't really see Thumper as some sort of criminal, he noticed the similarities with the victims he slashed.

He will keep his mouth shut for now.

Although, he do wishes to finally see this mysterious hybrid in person.

Then Yoongi turned his head to the direction where the King sits upon his throne nonchalantly.

"Your Majesty, may I have the permission to curse in your presence?"

"You cursed like 50 times before asking for my apporoval.."

Taehyung thought.

It's Yoongi, so what can the King do to his hyung? So he just gestured his hand, allowing the cat to scream profanities as he wishes to the wolf and watched in mild boredom.

The older is quite creative with his insults, that's for sure.

Taehyung's mind pulled him in his thoughts and ignored the situation in front of him. Only one thing his mind could think.

"When will I ever see this Thumper?"
