School was finally over!

I was too fucking happy.

Keem and them wanted to go to The Rink after school and at this point I needed everything to take my mind off of school.

"You rollin wit us to the rink?" Reggie walked up to me putting his arm around me.

"Yeah. I need some fun." I smiled.

"Is that a smile? Shit, I guess school wasn't all that bad if it got Kai smiling wit all teeth!". Reggie chuckled.

We walked to Keem car and everybody was waiting on us.

"Bout time." Syrus rolled his eyes.

"Syrus I would say some shit to hurt yo feelings  but considering you let three females rob you blind, it's clear to see I have nothing to say." I winked at him.

He rolled his eyes and got in the car while everybody else was laughing.

We all got in the car and drove out of the parking lot.

The Rink was a big after school hangout spot for everybody who went to our school.

The rink was a mix of a skating rink, bar, restaurant, and arcade.

A lot of people usually went there to get drinks if they was cool wit the bartender.

But we just went there for the food, games, and skates.

"Who all gon be at the rink?" I questioned.

One thing about Alec, Keem, Syrus, and Reg is that they knew everything about everybody. They either knew everybody, knew something about somebody, or knew where erbody was gon be at for the time being.

"I mean I kinda told everybody we having you a lil back to school link, you know cause you back at school and everything, so shit ain't no telling how many people gon be there." Reggie shrugged.

"Aw a back to school link for me? Y'all do love me forreal sometimes." I cooed pinching his cheek.

We pulled up to The Rink and it was mad kids there.

"Damn nigga did you announce that shit on the PA or sumn?!" Alec shrieked.

"Nah I just had a few of my peoples post it on they socials. But look at this turnout no cap." Reggie rubbed his hands together.

We made our way through crowds and kids  and found a park.

"Yessir! Alright what we getting into?" Keem asked hopping out the car first.

"Shit we best just chill in the lot cause it look like everybody and they momma tryna get inside and by the looks it's packed in there too." Syrus shrugged.

We agreed to just chill at the car a lil bit until more people left.

"Nah no cap tho Kai, I'm glad you back. It was getting mad lonely in fourth period." Alec pulled me into a hug.

"Awww thanks fam. But I'm lowkey happy to be back, even though I hate it at that place, I missed being wit y'all." I chuckled.

We continued talking as I sat on the roof of Keem's car while Alec and Syrus sat on the trunk, and Reggie sat on the hood.

"Hey Kaiser!" A girl named Harmony walked up to the car.

I knew Harmony from last year. Me and her used to be cool but we stopped talking cause it seemed like she was always in some shit.

"Hey wassup?" I gave her a simple head nod.

"So you leave school for a month and act like you don't know nobody? Shit, you ain't even tell me you was leaving." She folded her arms leaning on a car parked a space away from Keem's.

"I don't know what you talking bout. I left school unannounced to nobody. You not the only one. I walked out that bitch wit no intentions of coming back. But here I am." I sighed.

"Girl relax. School is not that hard. Especially if you got the right friends. You must ain't got the right connects." She chuckled.

I think the guys were sensing my irritation because they were watching me now.

"I hang out wit the same people from last year. Shit I been hanging out with these niggas since middle school. So don't come at them like that. I left cause I wanted to that ain't no shit nobody could've changed." I huffed.

"Well I heard it's cause you got an abortion and didn't want no one to know so you stayed home for a month acting like you ain't wanna come to school." She smirked.

"Who I fuck?" I mugged her.

"Sis I don't know that's for you to know not me. I just came to see if you was straight."

"Nah! Cause you talking bout I got an abortion! Bitch I ain't fuck nobody at this ran down ass school and nobody else in this fuck ass city! Find me one nigga that can say he fucked! You not gon find one! So gon back to whoever sent you over here cause you and them bitches sadly mistaken!" I spat.

"Girl relax. We all just wanna know why you left school for so long. No need to get disrespectful."

"Baby girl whoever we is tell them I don't owe them an explanation! I'm grown. At the end of the day I'm nobody concern. Y'all betta play wit ya mammies cause I'm not the one!" I sized her.

"Whatever. You done switched everything since you came back. Old Kai was chill." Harmony waved me off.

"Old Kai? I been acting like this since you met me Harmony. Don't fucking play wit me! You and anybody else in this bitch know I'm bout that action. So let's all pick up our jaws and understand Kai is back and she not making no new friends and she not wit the bullshit! So whoever fucking told you to come over here tell them Kai said from the bottom of her ass, FUCK THEM!" I shouted.

She rolled her eyes and walked off. I followed where she walked and she went right up to Ebony, Erica, and Essence.

"Old opp ass bitch!" I muttered.

"Kai you be gettin these hoes in line!" Reggie cracked up.

"Man whatever. Talking bout I got an abortion the fuck do I look like. I'm not one of these ran through hoes round this bitch. This pussy need an all access, VIP, back stage, guest of honor, exclusive, all expense paid, presidential suite, private jet, pass! Fuck ass hoes!" I shouted.

The guys were cracking up as them hoes mugged me from across the parking lot.

"Bitches want beef so fucking bad but wanna be yo friend on the flip! Fucking weirdos." I laid down on the roof of Keem's car.

"Calm down Kimbo Slice we bout to go get a slushy and some fries. You wanna come?" Keem thumped my ankle.

"As long as one of y'all pay for me!" I smiled.

"Shitttt I'll spend that bread on you shawty." Alec said in his fake rapper voice and took some money out his pocket.

"Period! Ok let's go." I hopped down off the roof and we headed toward the building.
