Chapter 8 - The Lightning Strikes

"TSUNA!" Yamamoto yelled and embraced Tsuna tightly, hoping hard to at least save him from the problem he created. He held Tsuna and faces his back to the ground. They both shut their eyes, awaiting the impact. All Yamamoto thought during the fall was protecting the boy in his arms.

They both awaited the impact. The impact that will end both of their lives in an instant.

But, instead...

*GRAB*

"EH!?"

*THUD!*

"OW!?!" Tsuna screamed in pain when they were suddenly grabbed then thrown on the floor. "W-What the!?" Tsuna rubbed his hips and head.

"Hn." Tsuna and Yamamoto look up to see a raven-haired teen.

"Hibari-san?" Yamamoto said.

"Y-You saved us!" Tsuna cried. "T-Thank y-y-you!!!"

"Hn, shut up."

Surely enough, the two were silent. Hibari approaches Tsuna and says, "You owe me again, Herbivore."

"Haha...I guess I do..." Tsuna said with nervous laughter while he scratched the back of his head.

"Thank you." Hibari turned to Yamamoto, who had a serious expression on his face. Hibari turns around and walks to the door.

"Hn."

Tsuna stands and stretches his arms. He hums and remembered back on the fall. While they were falling, he swore he heard someone call his name other than Yamamoto...

Yamamoto looked at Tsuna who stood up and stretched out his arms. Yamamoto smiled and looks away to the window. He stares at the sky and took a deep breath. He was happy, yet felt regret at the same time, but he was grateful. Grateful for what Tsuna and Hibari had done. Without them, His father would be crying and he'd be gone forever. Yamamoto had finally found the people who he could truly call his friends. Friends that see him for who he really is, not 'Yamamoto Takeshi, The Baseballl Star and the one of the most popular guys in school'. He laughed, knowing that because of this day, he was able to move forward and make new friends. Friends his could trust. A friend that resembled the Sky.

Reborn was hidden on a tree, watching the situation and his student, Hiroshi spouting out nonsense. He clicked his tongue and sighed, This is not...

Reborn looked up to Yamamoto, who was on the rooftop. This is your problem Hiroshi. Save him, or leave him to die.

"Huh?" Reborn changed his green chameleon, Leon, into binoculars and observed the rooftop. He saw Yamamoto turn around and he seemed to be talking with someone. Who's he talking to..?

Reborn was about to jump off the tree and kick some sense into his student into saving the boy on the roof. But before Reborn could... The students suddenly screamed and pointed up. Reborn looked up to see the boy falling. Falling with another boy in his arms.

Reborn's eyes widened when he realized who the boy was. Tsunayoshi Sawada.

"TSUNA!" Reborn prepared a bullet to shoot Tsuna with, The spring bullet. He aimed for Yamamoto and Tsuna and was about to fire, but a window below a the roof opened and suddenly someone grabbed the two from falling and pulled the two both into the classroom.

Such precision! Reborn thought. It was definitely wasn't an easy task to save people from falling, especially from grabbing them when they came from a window.

Reborn turned Leon back to his chameleon form and jumped off the tree, and entered one of his secret passageways to go to Tsuna.

(3 days later...)

"Who the hell are you!?" A silver haired teen yelled.

"Haha, I'm Yamamoto Takeshi, nice to meet you Gokudera!" Yamamoto cheerfully said.

"Huh!? What the hell are you doing here, in front of Juudaime's house!?" Gokudera asked.

"Oh, I'm waiting for Tsuna!" Yamamoto said with his usual cheery smile, but this time it was genuine.

"Oh, Juudaime's twin brother? The weak one?" Gokudera said.

"Tsuna's not weak." Yamamoto said.

"Ha, Have you even seen him? He is a failure as Juudaime's twin brother!" Gokudera said. "His weak and shy! That isn't boss material at all."

Yamamoto stayed quiet. Yeah sure, Tsuna wasn't that strong at all in their eyes, but Tsuna was strong. Being able to go through hate and injuries everyday was something strong.

"Although.." Gokudera added.

"Huh?" Yamamoto raised an eyebrow.

"I guess Juudaime's twin brother isn't that bad at all..."

Yamamoto smiles and nods. "His a great person! Haha!"

The door opens, revealing a brunette with a soft smile on his face. "G-Good morning, Yamamoto-kun, Gokudera-kun.."

"Hmph!" Gokudera crossed his arms and looked away.

"Haha, Good morning Tsuna!" Yamamoto greeted back.

"Mou, You shouldn't wait for me this early, it's five in the morning.." Tsuna said.

"Haha, don't worry about it! My dad's actually pretty happy I wake up early!" Yamamoto said.

Tsuna smiled back at Yamamoto and then at Gokudera.

"What do you want?" Gokudera said.

Tsuna shook his head. "Nothing...A-Anyway, w-we're gonna go on ahead..O-Onii-chan is still sleeping upstairs b-by the way.."

"Hmph!" Gokudera only huffed and puffed.

Yamamoto laughs while Tsuna smiles at Gokudera. "See you later then.."

Tsuna and Hiroshi, of course. Arrived home after school. Hiroshi went to his room and was greeted with, three boxes with levers on the top.

"What. The. Hell?" Hiroshi cursed.

"Welcome back, Baka-Hiro!" Reborn said and kicked Hiroshi on the back of his head.

"AH! Reborn!" Hiroshi yelled. "What is this!?"

"It's time for a quiz!"

"A quiz!?"

"Answer the question wrong, and you'll go..." Reborn raised his arms then clapped his hands. "Kaboom."

"WHAT!?

"Um...Five?"

"Wrong."

Reborn pushes the lever down and...

"REBORN!"

"Hm? What?" Reborn said, and flipped through his notebook.

"What kind of a home tutor blows their student up!?" Hiroshi asked, slamming his hands on the floor.

"Me."

"How the hell am I suppose to be the next boss when a crazy baby is going to kill me!"

"Shut up Baka-Hiro." Reborn said, about to push down the lever.

"I-I-I get it! Don't push it down!!" Hiroshi begged.

"Okay then, onto the-"

"GYAHAHAHA!!"

"What the..?" Hiroshi looked out the window when he heard sudden laughter. When he stood up and looked outside, his jaw had completely dropped when see a child.

A child with an afro and cow suit. On top of a branch. "Who the hell.."

"DIE REBORN!" The child screamed.

"What the fu-"

"Take that!" The child points his gun at Reborn, who seemed to continue with his tutoring session. Not minding the cow at all.

"REBORN! There's this weird looking kid in a cow suit and it seems like he knows you!" Hiroshi yelled. "Who is he? Do you know him!?"

"DIE!" The child pulled the trigger and Hiroshi blocked his body with his arms, while Reborn continued to ask math questions. Hiroshi awaited the bullet but...

Nothing happened.

"..." The child's eyes widened for a second, then looked at his gun.

"..." Crap! I was playing 'Ready, Go, Yesterday.' and used all the bullets! The child mentally screamed.

Hiroshi wiped a sweat off his face and sighed of relief. "Whew..."

*Crack*

"Huh?" The child looked at the branch he was on and stared at it with a confused expression.

*Snap*

"AAHH!!!" The branch snaps and the child screams. "AHH!" Hiroshi ran to the window and looked down to see the child on the ground, rubbing his hips.

"Wha..WHAT!?"

The child slowly sat up while whispering the words, "To..le..rate.." (Tolerate)

A girl passes by to see the child holding in the tears. Her I.D on her chest said the name 'Marialyn'. She passes by and said. "Oh my, poor child. I hope his alright.."

The child stands up, wiping the tears off his eyes and grinned, "Gyahahaha! The great Lambo-sama is here!"

The child called Lambo, ran up to the front door. A mysterious blue bucket appeared out of nowhere and Lambo uses it as a stepping stool to reach the doorbell.

*Ding, Dong*

"Um.." Tsuna opened to the door to see a child in a cow suit.

"The Great Lambo-sama wants to know where Reborn is!" Lambo said.

"Um..H-His upstairs.." Tsuna said, pointing to the stairs.

A friend of his..? Tsuna thought. Lambo let himself in and looked up the stairs with a smirk. "Lambo is coming Reborn!"

"Dame-Tsuna!" A sudden voice yelled. Lambo looked up to see an exact look a like to the boy who opened the door for him, but he had blue eyes. "Why the hell did you let him in!?"

"O-Onii-chan..!?" Tsuna shakes and looks up the stairs as Hiroshi starts to come down.

Lambo looked confused and backs away, and went behind Tsuna.

"This kid almost killed me!" Hiroshi yelled.

Tsuna looked at Lambo then back at his brother. "His just a child.."

"A child that has gun!" Hiroshi snapped.

Reborn had came down as well and observed the scene. The child looked around, from Hiroshi to Tsuna. Confused as to what they were arguing about.

"Damn it!" Hiroshi cursed, making Tsuna and Lambo flinch. Hiroshi was about to grab Lambo, but Tsuna picked up Lambo before he could grab him.

"Dame-Tsuna. Give him to me." Hiroshi said.

Tsuna only shook his head and held Lambo tightly.

"No."

Lambo...felt safe. He felt safe when he was embraced by the brunette. He had nothing to worry about, was his feeling. He knew. Even though, they have just met for the first time and he didn't understand what was going on, he knew. He knew this boy would keep him safe from harm. He felt a warm tingly feeling in his heart. He felt like he could fall asleep any moment. He felt like he had family.

Suddenly,

"OW!" Lambo yelled in pain when Hiroshi suddenly pushed Tsuna and pulled him out of his arms. Lambo flails around and tries to reach his tiny hands on Tsuna. He need his big brother.

Lambo cries and bites Hiroshi's arm, making him scream in pain and letting go of him. Lambo ran, but suddenly tripped when he was making his way to Tsuna.

"To..le..rate.." Lambo cried. "WAAH!!" Lambo cried loudly and his hands go through his afro hair, like he was trying to find something. Suddenly. Lambo pulled out a pink bazooka and placed it on the ground, while still crying.

"WHAT THE!?" Both Hiroshi and Tsuna froze when Lambo jumped inside the bazooka.

"NO!"

*BOOM*

Pink smoke engulfed the room. Tsuna coughed and coughed while covering his mouth.

"Yare, Yare.." Tsuna and Hiroshi suddenly heard an adult voice. The smoke started to disappear and they noticed a tall figure.

The smoke had completely disappeared, and a man with black hair stood there while rubbing his head.

"Hello, I'm the Crybaby Lambo."
