Kaz

We're trying to save Ace and he's up there preventing it from happening. Geez you Old Fart; Ace is a son to you and you're fighting for the side that wants to kill him. The fight keeps going and it's finally revealed that Luffy's Dragon's son. It's also revealed that I'm the Grim Reaper but if anyone didn't already know that then they're an idiot and we also managed to rescue Ace. Right now Ace, Luffy, and I are standing back to back fighting off marines that are coming at us in every direction.

"Man I'm tired of all this. It's really annoying how many marines there are and how weak they are." I say sighing.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Ace asks.

"Normally it would be but I've been off my game lately so I was partially hoping there'd be something challenging but not to challenging so I could still beat it and help save your ass." I say punching another marine.

"What got you off your game in the first place?" Ace asks and Luffy finally speaks up.

"She's been travelling with my crew but in her casual wear." Luffy says and I can see a smile covering his face.

"Huh? Now that is something I didn't expect. How do you like his crew? Pretty crazy aren't they?" Ace says with a little chuckle mixed in and I nod my head.

"It's a good crew and yeah they really are crazy. Plus they now have Nico Robin, a cyborg named Franky who's also a pervert, and a talking skeleton that'll ask to see any girl's panties." I say and I can tell Ace is a bit surprised.

"That isn't even the best part." Luffy says cutting in. "Guess what Ace. Guess what, guess what."

"What?" Ace asks and I can tell he's partially annoyed by Luffy's tone since it sounds like a four year old's.

"You remember Zoro right?"

"That's the green haired swordsman right?"

"Yeah well Kaz likes him." Luffy says with a huge smile on his face and Ace blinks a couple of times before he gains a huge smile as well.

"That is indeed the best part." Ace says.

"Unfortunately she hasn't told him and he still thinks she's actually a he but I think he likes her as well." Luffy says and I just ignore those two. While they've been having their little talk I've been the one to stop all the marines who were after us.

"Hm we need to have a family meeting about this." Ace says and he sits down. He picks up a piece of wooden debris and burns into it Family meeting in session DO NOT DISTURB. Ace props the sign up and envelopes us in a wall of fire. The sign is located outside of the wall so the others know not to disturb us.

"We're having a family meeting about this. Kaz start talking." Ace says and I just stare at him like he's insane.

"We're in the middle of a battle and you want to have a family meeting?" I ask and Ace nods his head.

"Actually we should get some feminine advice on this as well. Luffy can you grab a girl from somewhere around us." Ace says and he drops the wall for a second so Luffy could grab someone. A second later his arm comes back with a tall girl who wears glasses and has black hair; she's also a marine. As soon as she's within a certain radius Ace puts the fire wall back up.

"They're gonna think we kidnapped a marine now. Thanks for that." I say face palming.

"Ace just said grab one so I grabbed one. Anyway aren't you the one who's with Old Smokey?" Luffy asks the girl and I notice she's missing her glasses. I spot them on the ground and pick them up. I walk over and hand them to her.

"Thank you and yes I'm Smoker's subordinate." She says before putting her glasses on. As soon as she puts them on she grabs her Shiguire and points it at us. "What do you want with me Fire Fist Ace, Straw Hat Luffy, and Grim Reaper?"

"Hey don't include me in this it's their own stupid idea." I say pointing at Ace and Luffy.

"Yeah but we're doing it for you idiot. We just need some feminine advice. Rim here likes someone but they have no clue who she is and they think she's a guy. The guy's also a pirate with a bounty so the bounty shouldn't be too much of a problem. We have reason to believe that he also likes her but again he doesn't know she's a she not a he so he might just care for him as a friend." Ace says gesturing to me and I see the girl slightly lower her Shiguire but it's still at ready.

"So why did you get me?" She asks.

"We were hoping you could give her some advice as to what she should do." Ace says and I let out a sigh.

"Just don't bother with it. As soon as this war's over I'm disappearing for good. I won't be seeing anyone again for a long time and that includes him. That also includes you two as well." I say pointing at Ace and Luffy.

"WHAT? NO YOU CAN'T DO THAT SIS." They yell at the same time attaching themselves to my legs.

"Get off dipshits." I say while punching them over the head and I hear a chuckle from the girl.

"It's interesting to see two men with high bounties acting like such children." She says and I shake my head.

"This is how they usually act it's weird to see them when they're serious." I say and I sense Smoker outside of the fire wall.

"TASHIGI ARE YOU OKAY?" Smoker yells and everyone freezes.

"YEAH I'M FINE." The girl, Tashigi, yells back.

"THOSE LOUSY PIRATES WANT TO USE YOU AS A HOSTAGE DON'T THEY?"

"NO ACTUALLY THEY JUST WANTED SOME FEMINE ADVICE."

"FEMININE ADVICE? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" Smoker yells and I sigh.

"You two don't have to yell you know and I'll just take the wall down." I say while flicking my wrist. A wave of water douses the fire and I start walking away.

"Hey where do you think you're going? This meeting has not been adjured yet." Ace yells at me and I glare at him over my shoulder.

"When has that ever stopped me?" I whip my head back around and throw myself back in the fray. After some time Luffy drops the Vivre Card that connects him to his crew and when he bends over to get Akainu decides that that's the perfect chance to attack. I go to move but I'm too far away. I'm a good few minutes away and I won't get there in time. I still try though and I curse when Akainu's fist moves closer to Luffy but suddenly a torso gets in its way. I slide the last few feet and manage to catch Ace before he hits the ground. Jimbei and some pirates from Whitebeard's crew stop Akainu while Luffy and I hold Ace and the fighting still continued around us.

"I'm sorry you two, I couldn't let you save me." When a Whitebeard pirate tried to get a doctor Ace stopped him; "It's too late, I can tell that my life is ending. He burned my insides I'm done for, listen you two." Luffy started going on about the promise we made all those years ago but I stopped him when Ace started to speak again since I could sense his life force diminishing quickly. "Yeah I promised just like with Sabo; if I hadn't had you two annoying brats I wouldn't have thought to live. When you see Dadan again tell her thanks, I even kinda miss her now that I'm dying. I only have two regrets: not being able to see you accomplish your dream Luffy and to see you free Kazuto but I'm sure that'll happen; you guys can do it. I've lived with no regrets and the thing I wanted most of all was to know that it was okay to be born. I won't be able to speak much longer so can you guys tell the others what I'm about to say." I give a nod even with tears streaming down my cheeks and snap my fingers so Ace's voice will echo throughout the area even though he's extremely weak.

"OLD MAN, EVERYONE, LUFFY, AND RIM I'M A WORTHLESS MAN WITH THE BLOOD OF A DEMON FLOWING THROUGH ME; THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME." Ace's voice echoes through the area but you can tell he's on his last few breaths and the tears were just flowing freely now. I let out little sobs and give Ace and Luffy a hug with tons of water gushing from my eyes.

"Luffy accomplish your dream and Kaz," Ace takes in a shaky breath before he continues. "It wasn't a crime that you were born and I hope you find happiness in the future." With that last statement Ace fell to the ground and died with a smile on his lips. Luffy shuts down and I just sit there crying my eyes out when I suddenly hear a voice behind me.

"Well, well I didn't know that the Grim Reaper could show emotions." I turn around and see Akainu behind me. "Let's see how much you'll break if I kill Straw Hat as well." He says with a sick grin on his face and he moves to attack Luffy but I intercept him in the same way Ace did. Akainu's fist goes through the center of my chest and I aim a glare at Akainu. He pulls his fist back for another punch and he punches me slightly right ward of the previous wound but my glare never wavers. I can see that Akainu's getting partially pissed off and he moves to attack Luffy from another direction and before I can stop him Marco does.

"Grab him and go." Marco says and I know he means Luffy. I grab Luffy and throw him over to Jimbei. We start running towards the ship and I can barely see through my tear filled eyes. I wipe my tears and see that we are practically at the boats when I feel that something's wrong. I stop in my tracks and see Marshall D. Teach walk out of a black cover that then gets pulled off to reveal Whitebeard standing there proud and strong but I can tell that he is no longer with us.

"He took it, he figured out how to use his Fruit to extract another's. This can't be happening." I muttered over and over when I finally decide on a course of action. I shakenly take a step forward towards Teach. With each step my shaking stops and I'm halfway to Teach when Marco grabs my arm.

"What the hell are you doing? We can't let you or Straw hat die otherwise we would be destroying Ace's last wish." He says trying to haul me off to the ships but I was dragging my feet.

"This is something I have to do, Ace would understand. He knew that this day was going to happen eventually." I say glaring at Marco.

"What about Straw hat? Do you want him to lose another family member in such a short time?" Marco was still dragging me to the ships even though I was weighing him down a lot.

"I won't die;" I say with a fire burning in my gut. I wrench my arm from his grasp and I start marching towards Teach. My anger starts rising and the area around me starts to get affected. Objects start floating around me and with each step I take the ground breaks up around my foot before joining the swarm of objects around me. Everyone has stopped fighting since an aura darker and deadlier than they're ever seen before surrounds me. The wind picks up and my hair starts flying in every direction. Any animal in the area scampers as far off as it can and all the left over transponder snails cut the feeds before they too escaped as far away as possible. The ocean's gotten rougher and strong, tall waves crash against the shore every few seconds in pure anger; dark storm clouds form overhead and thunder sounds throughout the silenced area. Lighting crackles through the sky illuminating my figure which could easily be mistaken for the devil's at the moment.
