Chapter 7

The Greenwoods and Harpercops looked everywhere for Elvis but could not find him and the twins were missing too. The parents feared they had run away.

The Harpercops weren't too surprise, as they remembered the few times Kali ran away from home back when the twins were born.

Turns out the twins had gone with Elvis who was hoping to leave on the ferry that was departing the next morning. The twins tried to convince Elvis to come back with them but the poor boy felt unwanted and unloved thinking Jesse nor the Greenwoods cared for him.

The 3 kids camped out in the back of a boat that was latched to the back of a truck.

That night~

Randolph, Jesse and Kali had come down to the dock by the cove with a special remedy prepared to help Luna.

The whales started to approach the humans up on the dock. Tico was first to greet them.

"Hey there, Tico" Kali smiled, glad to see her.

"It's good to see you guys" Tico squeaked, happy to see her friends despite the difficult situation she, Willy and his siblings had been in these past few days.

Luna and Littlespot popped up next.

"Hey Littlespot, Luna" Kali smiled softly to them.

"Seen your brother?" Jesse asked them.

"Come on, boy" Kali and Jesse started moving there hands around in the water which would hopefully get Willy's attention to come to them.

Soon the 8 thousand pound bull orca popped his head up out of the water releasing a big breath from his blowhole.

"Well, now here's a sight for sore fins" Willy said, happy to see his two best human friends.

"Hey, there you are" The two teens smiled at their orca friend.

"Come on, boy. That's it" Jesse said, getting Willy to come up to him enough for him to touch his face. "Yeah. Good boy"

Kali and Jesse then got Willy to open his mouth hoping Luna would copy him, which luckily she did. Luna floated in front of the 3 humans on the dock with her brothers and Tico. Randolph took the special medicine he had made and started spreading it all over inside Luna's mouth. Hopefully this would heal her.

Randolph then started reciting this ancient Native American chant which his people believed always help with the healing process of a human or animal. Jesse and Kali both held their orca medallions praying this would work while the four orcas watched them.

Once Randolph was done reciting the chant, he stood up and looked to the teens.

"We've done everything in our power, kids" he said to them. "All we can do now is let her sleep"

Jesse held his medallion close, looking up into the clear night sky at the full moon.

"Wait and see if the spirits are with us tonight" He said.

"I'm sure they are" Kali said, also looking up into the night sky.

"The spirits are always with us" Randolph told the teens.

The two teens looked at Randolph and smiled, then surprisingly the two friends managed to make eye contact and smiled at each other.

"I'll see you two tomorrow" Randolph told the kids before leaving.

"Thanks" Jesse and Kali both smiled at Randolph.

The friends all said good night to each other before heading off back towards camp while the orcas watched them leave before going to bed themselves.

Hopefully tomorrow would be better for everyone...
