17 || Chaotic Interlude

TUESDAY, 9:30 AM; SPORTS FESTIVAL STADIUM, U.A. HIGH SCHOOL

Sulking around in a state of curiosity, he gazed down in silence despite the crowd's luminous cheers. Blending in, All Might paused as he passed by a set of business students.

  "That Y/N is amazing..."

"I wonder why she's in the General Department."

"But, she really must have a powerful quirk. She quite cute too, haha!"

"Hmm, I wonder how would you guys advertise for her? I'm curious to hear what you guys think."

The grand hero's eyes fell down to the girl as she wandered off, a purple-haired boy by her side. Y/N. She was definitely not quirkless. With no words, he hoped her powers held no ill root.

All Might let out a short exhale. Just what was her secret?

TUESDAY, 9:34 AM; SOUTH EXIT, SPORTS FESTIVAL STADIUM

Silence fell, the two of them tucked near the outskirts of the stadium. Secured in a quiet place, Shinsou stared at her dulled eyes. Brainwashed, she had easily followed him.

"Tell me your real quirk." Straight to the point.

  "I don't have one."

"..." He didn't drop his cool. He was surprised without a doubt, but there were still things he wanted to know. "Tell me your secrets." with a solemn, toned down voice, he inquired.

"One time I ate a watermelon and-"

"No, I meant about your power."

"..." Time seemed to come to a slow; he could see each individual millisecond pass by. The answer behind it all was-

  "I trained for two years."

  A completely generic answer.

"What? How did you train?" There had to be more.

"One-hundred daily push-ups, sit-ups, squats, ten kilometers of running, and no using the air conditioning or heater for two years." There wasn't more.

"..." Shinsou felt a weight coming on his shoulders. He pushed it to the side, shrugging as if to convince himself that he wasn't too interested. It all didn't make any sense, but perhaps there was something even his quirk couldn't reach.

  "..."

  "..."

He swallowed sharply, a red hue venturing to his ears. A clashing hotpot of feelings. Questions ran about in his head. Measuring consequences, running out of time, his quirk only lasted for so long. He might as well use it while it lasted. His throat felt tight as he opened his lips.

She wouldn't remember it, so it would be okay.

"How... How do you feel about me?"

"Hmm? Oh, I think you're pretty cool." She gave a friendly smile.

  "!!"

His eyes drew spirals. That kind of response. She woke up. His eyes glued themselves to the floor, heat crawling all over him. The only thing chaotically sprinting around in his head was how much he had just regretted all of his life decisions. He wanted someone, anyone, to just end him now.

"Y/N! Quick! Mineta told us we need to do some cheerleading stuff."

Shinsou's ears perked at the sudden call.

  "Oh, uhm. Okay."

TUESDAY, 9:28 AM; SPORTS FESTIVAL STADIUM STANDS RECREATIONAL AREA, U.A. HIGH SCHOOL

"Ah, that cavalry battle was a total bust..." Kaminari heavily sighed as Mineta waddled next to him. "I just hope I got to show off my quirk enough. How do you think you did Mineta-...? Hm?"

  Whisper. Whisper. Whisper.

They grinned, nodded and gave each other a thumbs up.

TUESDAY, 9:34 AM; SPORTS FESTIVAL STADIUM RECREATIONAL AREA, U.A. HIGH SCHOOL

  "Cheerleading?"

"I didn't hear anything about that though."

"It's true! Aizawa told me himself!"

  "Really?"

  "It's true!"

"Did he really! Ahh, what should we do? The interlude activities have already started!"

"Oh and Y/N needs to do it too!" A quick addition, Kaminari seemed excited. He wasn't going to lie to himself, he was a hormonal teenage boy with his own set of curiosities.

"I'll go and make the cheerleading outfits!" Yaoyorozu hurried.

"I'll go and get Y/N; I think I saw her near the south exit!"

  Grin. Grin. Grin.

TUESDAY, 9:45 AM; SPORTS FESTIVAL STADIUM, U.A. HIGH SCHOOL

  Blush. Blush. Blush.

Red faces sparked like wildfire as Y/N entered out to the stadium. The students that idled on the side grouped up with the tricksters who had begun this all.

Midoriya choked on his drink, spitting it out before coughing violently. "Pwaha- Wha- Y/N!?" It was over; he could no longer communicate with human words. "Pwawwaapwa!?"

"Mineta! You tricked us!" the girls raged.

  "You'll pay for this!"

  The chaos began.

"..." Y/N just moped around near the tail end of the group, passively holding her pom-poms. What was she going to do for tonight's dinner? With an odd, slightly aloof cuteness, she appeared deep in thought.

Eyes began to gravitate towards the scene as the chaos swelled.

Todoroki's particular set widened, as a sharp stinging sensation breached his hand as she casually chilled. A quick glance around, anyone could recognize the predatorial eyes that beamed onto her. He had a million questions; why was she dressed as a cheerleader? Why did it look so good on her? And why did she look so uninterested? Without knowing, his bpm has reached new levels that training had never given him.

Bakugou wasn't looking at her. Not at all. Definitely not. And he had not even thought of looking at her. Intensely shutting his eyes, he refused to look at her. He wasn't interested. Definitely not. That's what Bakugou had hoped.

"Oi oi oi, why are you staring at Y/N so intensely like that?? You look like you're going to do something weird to her!" Kirishima stepped away.

"Hahaha, Bakugou knows what's up. He has good taste!~" Kaminari gave an 'ok' hand sign; satisfied.

  The chaos grew.

  "Woah woah, is that Y/N?!"

"Damn, it is! Shinsou quick look-look-look!"

Shinsou cursed under his breath. He had been trying to get her of his mind ever since his embarrassing moment. He kept quiet as his classmates gawked at the view.

"Y/N looks really cute, maybe I should talk to her more..."

He inhaled sharply, trying to stray his thoughts away from how the top look slightly too tight, slightly too perfect on her torso as her short skirt fell neatly at the perfect height on her mid upper thighs.

  Curses.

His curiosity had gotten to the best of him. He admitted defeat and stared longingly at her.

TUESDAY, 10:00 AM; SPORTS FESTIVAL STADIUM, U.A. HIGH SCHOOL

The contestants had been getting rowdy in their own spare time before the final event. Some spent the time with their friends, others spent time eating though others waited quietly trying to get their mind off it.

Y/N had spent the time with eyes glued on her figure, trying to bat away the sleepiness. With heavy eyelids and dulled ears, she drowned out the crowd and Midnight's announcements as she views the board, not even changed out of her prior cheerleader outfit.

  She was up first.

  Y/N

Following the lines, one block over, she would be battling:

  Shinsou
