Now that (Y/N) is now kinda used about the item she protected for days, she keeps viewing it 360, fascinated by it's beauty. It looks like one of the stars in the night sky. (Y/N) yawned and decided to take a little nap at the rooftop, she just likes the cold wind.

(Y/N) found a bench and laid there, closing her eyes with the rock in her hands.

Chapter 26
No Longer a Half

"M-Mom! I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to--"

"Shhh... it's alright, l-let's just find a way about this. Maybe we will just move out of this town."

"To where?"

"We don't have enough money to move to a country, so we'll just stay where I lived as a child, it's far from here, and you will move to an academy where I studied for high school."

"What school?"

"Kamome Academy."

"Hey hey hey!! (Y/N)!" Tsukasa woke the girl up from her sleep. (Y/N) jolted and almost dropped the rock, "I-I.... a-a-almmm.... ost..." Her throat still feels sore so she can't finish her sentence.

Tsukasa explained why she was mute that day when she finally can talk.

So it was the rock that made her mute, it somewhat covers her entire voice box causing her to go mute. A question that is still stuck in her head is how the heck did a rock get in her throat?

"Sorry to wake you up (Y/N)~ I was just feeling bored! I don't know what to do!~" He whined as he waved his arms up and down rapidly. "And I see that the rock is at the edge of the bench!! I told you to not drop it!" He said but his tone sounded happy than concern. "You seem to have a nice sleep (Y/N)? I'm just curious, what was your dream? Tell me! If you do~ I'll tell you mine last night!"

Tsukasa laid on his stomach and rest his chin on both of his hands while swinging his legs. When he was in that position, (Y/N) felt something again in her stomach and on her face. "I-I-t... w-as.. sh-sh-sho-rt.." she struggled to speak. "Hahaha! You're cute and funny (Y/N)!" Tsukasa laughed. (Y/N) sense something broken inside her but she don't know what it is and just shrugs it off. "Hhhmmm..... too bad~ I can't tell you mine if you can't tell me yours~" He frowned like a child. Tsukasa look up the night sky that is filled with stars. "I used to look at the night sky like this before." He spoke, breaking the silence between them.

(Y/N) glances at Tsukasa, you can see his amber eyes are perfectly glistening by the moonlight. She then suddenly felt a wave of deja vu hits her. The girl tries to find out what is bothering her own mind. Then there are two words rang, 'birthday girl'. (Y/N) was confuse but she decided to stop 'cause it's giving her a headache. The brightness of the rock in her hands increased a bit. She looks down at it and something heavy suddenly hit her whole body like she was electricuted. Everything went white after that.

"Yu-chan? Will you tell me what's your wish?"

"No."

"Aawww.. you're no fun. I won't tell you mine either."

"(Y/N)..... (Y/N)?" Tsukasa waves his hand in front of her face. With that, she snapped back to reality. "Tsutsun..." "Don't. Don't call me that." He gave her a sadistic look and (Y/N) quickly nods. Then his scary expression turn into a cheery one, "You can call me Tsukasa!" He smiled. (Y/N) resumes her question, "T-Tsukas-sa, what i-is this roc-k?" Her speech is starting to improve. Tsukasa answers with a deadly grin, "That rock is your other half (Y/N)! It was easy to find where it was located because it glows so bright in your flesh!" "Huh?" She tilts her head in confusion. Tsukasa added, "You were not really a 100% apparition when that object stuck in your throat. Your living half's memories is in that rock, and if you lost it, or break it, things about you will change. You and your half are pretty much the same person, your half just has different memories, if that makes sense. Now that I got it out from your body, you are now officially a true apparition. You can haunt many people as you like, sounds fun isn't it!?" He raise his arms in the air as he laughs.

"W-What do-oes 'haunt' m-means?" (Y/N) asked. Tsukasa stopped, "You don't know what 'haunt' means?!" The girl shook her head.

Tsukasa wraps his arms and legs around her, "You'll find out soon." He snuggled close to her. I miss her warmth. And now it's gone. He thought. Tsukasa tried to hold back his tears, he is tired to be weak. (Y/N) didn't move an inch and lets him cuddle to her.

Tsukasa's p.o.v.

Why did I felt this way? At first, I only see her as Yu-chan, then weeks flew by, I can now see (Y/N) as.... (Y/N). I admitted my feelings towards her when we had our first kiss. Then I stole our second. I used to only see her as one of my assistants. But the fact that she was the only one who always agrees to play and laughs with me, that she made me feel weird yet nice in my stomach just makes me see her as more than a friend. I just wanted her to be mine, and safe. So I brought her to the fake world, where all the people there are fake except me and her. I thought she will be happy that her dad and sister and her pets are back. And she can be a normal person with no cursed hands just like she wanted.

I felt guilty for the first time where I only see her as Yu-chan instead of who she was.

The smoothness of (Y/N)'s hair, the softness of her skin, her sparkling (e/c) eyes are still there, but the warmth is gone. She is now dead cold. I should've locked you in a room to be safe but I knew you will get mad at me. (Y/N), I'm sorry.

I tried to hold back my tears again, I don't want to appear vulnerable to anyone. But (Y/N), Sakura and that idiot already saw me cried and I hate it. Why is it so hard to control it!? I hate it! "Ts-Tsutsu-- I-I mean-n.." "It's fine, you can call me whatever you want only if we are alone." I tried my best to smile without scaring her then continue to cuddle close to her. I have an another urge to claim those lips of hers but I shrugged it off just like before to not alarm her.

I then felt arms wrap around me. I look up and saw (Y/N) hugs me back with a pink color on her cheeks. I cupped them with my hands, feeling the heat on her face as I look deep into their eyes. Her expression is a mix of confusion and embarrassmant which I found adorable. I'll make sure no one will take her away from me.
