it starts up a lil slow, still working on the other part(s),, i dont completely know where im going with this (bad writing system i know) if u have ideas lemme know :D

We are sitting in a vent shaft, currently making sure we navigate to the right room. I have no clue how Jackie even managed to fit inside of here but we did somehow, now he just has to be as quiet as possible.

"shh sh" I grab his attention and point down to a room that looks like the room we need. He looks and then gives me a quick nod. Now we wait.

Jackie is doing something on his phone, while im looking into the room, currently being held captive by a random guy in a coat lab. As long as he's in there we can't make our move, an hour goes by and my phone lights up.

"this is taking too long, whats he even doing in there?"

Jackie sent me a text, I look up at his face and he shrugs at me.
I start typing but just as I want to hit send another person walks into the room, this time a woman.

"Mr. Parker, im so sorry to leave you waiting for so long, I was in need somewhere in the building and it took longer than expected."
"Why so formal miss Brodie, we both know why w'ere here."

I look up at Jackie, who looks back with an equally weirded out face.

"So sorry mr. Parker, i just thought, we could be heard you know." The woman let's her eyes roam through the room.
"Impossible miss, the building is fool proof."

Now jackie looks up at me and I chuckle softly. Jackie then sets up a little bug to record the conversation, if it could ever be of importance.

"Well then, the plan is simple. CHOOH3 starts production in 4 months, in the meantime we finish testing and find a way to make the smell more addicting. If we have any difficulty or find something that could possibly be of great power to us, we can push back the deadline 2 months max."
"Yes that was the clear part, but we need to talk about what exactly we want to achieve at the end of the first 6 weeks when the product gets announced in stores."
"My what a silly question miss, world domination of course."

The man, presumably called Parker, laughs at his remark but the woman reacts in a weird way to his laughter. I look up at Jackie again, who now shows only worries in his face.

"So you're saying, we could really take over the world with this new formula?"
"Very much so... just you wait."

A man enters the room.

"Mr. Parker, you are being called into a meeting."
"Is it 3 already? My my, put it on the big screen in my office, i'll be there shortly."

The man leaves again.

"So, were shall we meet up next then."
"Meet me in the Xoma Pharmaceuticals building, its very protected but much smaller than this building."
"Very well, goodbye miss Brody."

They kiss, then both leave after one another.

After waiting a little for signs of other people around, I open the vent and stick my head through the opening. I look around for any camera's to turn them off if needed, but the only camera I found was already turned off.

"Looks like Parker didn't want to be seen, too bad hehe."

I drop myself inside of the room and grab the files, then Jackie pulls me up into the vent and w'ere on our way.

"Yes Wakako, we'll be there shortly, I understand, yeah, okay."

The call gets cut off and I look over to Jackie who is stuffing his face with dumplings.

"They taste any good?"
"hmm hmph hm"
"Gonna take that as a yes, when you're ready we can go to Wakako and get this thing over with."

He swallows the dumpling he was chewing on and clears his throat.

"You not hungry at all?"
"Nah i had a burrito on the way, i'm good."

He raises an eyebrow and pushes one of his dumplings over to me, waving it around in front of my nose. I give in and chomp on the dumpling, he gives a satisfied chuckle.

"hm yeah thats good, i'm looking at the time here Jack, and we might need to go to Wakako now if we still want to do that movie tonight."
"Oh shoot yeah that movie, completely forgot, you drive to Wakako and I drive us to the theater?"
"Sure."

He finishes one last dumpling and we leave for hopefully the last task of the week.

"World domination?! You have it on a bug?!! They kissed???!"
"Yeah that's what i said 5 minutes ago and then repeated a second and third time."
"Give me the bug, I'm afraid I was unaware of the situation when I said this was going to be your last task this week."

I sigh as silently as I can and peek over to Jackie, who also looks very bummed out.

"Can't we push it back to next week? It's Thursday and-"
"No. V, I'm sorry I know I said so earlier but this is serious."

Now Jackie tries to say something.

"Come on Wakako, we did so much this week already, didn't you promise-"
"I already apologized. Sometimes things have to happen. You two are my best chance at keeping whatever these two corpo rats on the down low.

I step over to Jackie and gently tap him on the arm, saying that it's okay and we'll talk about it later.

"Fine, we'll expect better payment though, and none of that "get yourself something nice at the ripperdoc" bullshit. We want straight eddies, okay?"
"Sure, whatever will make you do the job. I'm going to listen to the conversation now and figure everything out, didn't you two have something nice planned? Go do that and i'll text you the info tomorrow morning."
"Thanks Wakako, talk more tomorrow!"

As we walk out I notice Jackie is extremely tensed up.

"What's bothering you?"
"Wicked witch of the joytoy streets over here think she has us in the palm of her hand or something?"

I chuckle.

"Wicked witch of the joytoy streets is very grateful we discovered this extremely important information, Jack. One more mission won't kill us, right?"
"You say that as if we work as accountants, one more mission could very well kill us. Whatever Chica, I don't want to think about work on our date night."
"That's more like it! C'mon let's go to the Afterlife before the movie starts."
