Chapter Fourteen: Flips My World Around

Sorry, I promised this update few days ago but I was busy :p

I dedicate this chapter to my bby :)) @iamthecaptain

→Louis' POV

It's been weeks since Liam told me about how we met, and it's been weeks I've been dreaming of something I don't know whether it's a memory or what, I mean I'm so confused.

I closed my eyes as I am laid on my bed trying to figure everything out, but it doesn't make sense. I haven't told this to anyone that I've been getting images and scenes in my brain. Am I regaining my memory? --with just that? My mom told me about my past but it wasn't like this. How can Liam affect me so much?

I furrowed my eyebrows because something crossed my mind again.

It's dark, it's raining, it seems like I am finding something. It's a thunder storm, but I wasn't afraid like I am now. I keep on looking, running, reaching for something under this black, crying sky.

Then it was cut off.

Thing after thing, it flashes on my mind. When will this end? When will this puzzle be completed? I thought to myself.

I see Liam with his cheeks flushed with a shade of deep pink in front of me, saying something --which I cannot understand. Then he looked up to me and met my eyes while his cheeks shade grew deeper, redder. Then he smiled, -- a fake smile, an understanding smile while his eyes starts to be filled with tears. What have I done? How did I make him cry? Why did I make him cry?

--

I'm sat beside my cabinet and drawer, fixing my things as my mom said we're moving back to Doncaster because she and my dad fixed the things and they will not continue the divorce thing-- which I am glad but I did something I know I will regret forever.

I properly put my clothes in my bag, sorting the shirts, shorts, etc. It's been raining outside and there's been lightning and thunder outside but I didn't care although I still wonder how thunders are created, its sound and everything.

I hear the sound of our doorbell.

"Who actually goes out in a thunder storm?" I asked myself.

"Boobear!" I heard my mom's voice call me with that nickname.

I got off from where I was sat and immediately went downstairs.

"Why, mom?" I step down another step before going to where my mom is.

"Karen is here." She said as she left me with Liam's mom at the front door.

I faced her smiling, she had this worried look so I dropped smile.

"Have you seen Liam? He hasn't come home since he went here and it's already 8" She asked.

I shook my head. What the fuck is wrong with him? And me? I washed away all my thoughts before stepping out on the rain leaving Karen with; "I'll find him."

It didn't matter what I was wearing, it's freaking cold but it really didn't matter, I was wearing sweat pants and tank tops under this dark sky with pouring rain and thunder.

"Liam!" I yelled as I walk to this familiar street through the park.

It's really dark, the only thing that illuminates this place are the street lights, thunder strikes time after time but it doesn't matter! I need to know where the freaking hell Liam is right now.

"He hadn't done anything stupid, right?" I whispered to myself making myself freak and worry more.

I thought he understands? Why is this happening? I continued on running, I didn't know where I was going but I kept on running.

"Liam!!" I yelled as I continued to walk.

The rain still pouring and thunder strikes every time.

"Liam!" I moved my head from left to right then vice versa again and again wanting to find a sign of Liam.

I don't know what time is it but I continued to walk, I was desperate. It was my fault why he left, it's my freaking fault! But I can't be selfish. No, never.

I started to feel my tears stream down on face, it overflows through my cheeks, my sight becomes blurry so I wiped it. I'm desperate. I need to find him.

I noticed I arrived into a bridge; I walked on its side avoiding the fast vehicles passing through the bridge.

I saw a figure at the other side of the bridge, it was Liam. He's facing the other way but I can tell that he's crying. The way his shoulder rises up and down, the way his hand moves seems like wiping his tears.

"Liam!" I called him but he didn't turn around.

"Liam!" I attempted to walk going to him but the cars are so fast.

He still hasn't heard me because of the continuous thunder.

"Liam!!" I run past the cars and he finally look at me. Finally! I smiled at him.

He was about to smile back when his eyes widened, he looked next to me so I mirrored him.

I saw this car approaching me, its front light blinded me as the thunder strikes one last time.

"LOU---!!!" Liam's voice, the sound of thunder, the cold shivering wind and the blinding white light of the car were the last things that came into my senses before everything went black.

"Louis." I hear the familiar voice.

"Louis." still calling me while tapping my cheeks gently.

"Louis." I felt damp lips pressed to mine.

With that I slowly flicker my eyes open. I felt my cheeks were damped.

He pulled back.

"Thank goodness you're awake." He sighed heavily.

"Li-Liam," I closed my eyes again allowing my eyes to adjust to the light.

"You were calling my name while you were sleeping..." He said then he averted his eyes away from me.

"I was worried so I came here" he murmured but still audible.

"I dreamt of something," I said.

"Tell me about it." His brows furrows as he looks at me in the eyes.

So I told him what I dreamt of, how I was feeling about it.

He sighed and averted his eyes away again.

"You're regaining your memory, I guess," he said.

"I'm sorry; it was my fault that you lost your memory. If I hadn't run away but it just really hurt." I never saw Liam put down his shield, I never saw him this weak... Not when he thought I was Harry, just now.
