・゚: *・゚:* — You Touch Me Once And It's Really Something

"I have so many questions."

The couple is now sitting on the sofa, eating the takeout. Everything feels hazy but in a good way, like it's just them existing in the whole world and the rest doesn't matter. Inés hasn't stopped staring at Bella for a single second, scared if she looks away Bella could disappear into thin air.

"And I will answer every single one."

"How long are you staying?" She leans more into them, careful with the plate of food. Their arms are touching, and even if they can't have the closeness that a hug brings, that arm touch is enough to prove to the other that they are in fact there, and it's not a dream or any other fantasy.

They are together, again. And they're not going anywhere. Bella smirks. "I don't know. Hopefully longer than last time."

Inés feels her chest expanding as she takes a deep breath, and she smiles too. "Where are you staying?"

"Same hotel as last time. It's a really good hotel."

"Is Pedro here with you?"

"Yes."

"Where are Lydia and Andrew?"

"Umm, when Lydia gave me the keys she was driving him to one of his friend's house I think. I don't know where she is now though."

"She gave you the keys to my house?" she asks, not believing them. Lydia would never do that, she never gave him a set of keys just to surprise Inés. Well, he never tried to surprise her in the first place.

"She just trusts me, I guess." From their jeans' pockets they pull out the silver key, handing it out to her. They shrug with a cocky smile, like they feel superior in a way for making Inés' sister like them and trust them enough to give them a set of keys.

"Unbelievable." She scoffs. "Since when do you even talk? That's conspiring against your girlfriend. You're gonna give it back, you know?"

"I do know, my love. Of course I'll give it back."

There's something about the way he's looking at her, the way he says the nickname so softly and tender, it makes Inés get a lump in her throat. And for a second, Inés thinks she's gonna cry. Because they say 'my love' and it's somehow different to any other thing she's called her before. It's heavier, and full with a new sentiment, and Inés can tell by the way Bella says it that it does mean something entirely else.

Inés might just not be ready to let that sink in. She doesn't know the reason why, she just knows she's not ready for that yet. Because she does love them, she might even be in love with them too, but she doesn't love, love them. She's not sure she can actually love in that way. And she doesn't know how to take in Bella's love without being able to give it back just yet. It's unfair and it might swallow her whole, but all she can do is accept it, right now, as it is.

She tries to ignore how much she's craving for a cigarette right now, so she turns to face her once again, and she kisses Bella without worrying about her breath for the first time. She kisses Bella instead of speaking to her because words can't come out of her mouth, and she kisses her because then she might be able to tell this thing to Bella without verbalizing it. She hopes Bella understands, she wishes Bella gets the message, she prays Bella doesn't leave. Because she does want her here. Inés needs her here. Now more than ever.

She doesn't know if she can let go of them now that she knows that, now that she knows the weight of their words.

my love

The words linger inside her brain, echoing in the sound of their sweet voice. They haven't said the words, but this is close enough and it's already so overwhelmingly heavy. She won't be able to handle the full impact of the three words; those three words that scare the shit out of her. If Bella ever says those words, she knows she will cease to exist in that moment.

The kiss doesn't stop, Bella seems to be knowing the meaning of it, how deep and beautiful it is, even when tears start falling from Inés' eyes and Bella worries. Inés doesn't stop the kiss, not when all she needs is Bella, when all she wants and desires is right there, in her lips, touching her, moving their hands down from her neck to her shoulders and pulling her closer.

my love

Inés doesn't want this to stop, she needs this to go on forever or she'll go crazy without feeling their touch. She runs her thumb through his eyebrow, finally feeling it after all those times she wished she did, and it feels soft, just like the rest of their being. They are here, she's touching them and somehow, a part of her still can't believe it. But she doesn't want this to stop.

Eventually she has to breathe, and so very reluctantly she pulls away. Immediately she starts waving her hands in dismissal. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I'm crying." She laughs at herself, thinking about how pathetic she must look right now.

"Hey, don't be. Are you alright?" Bella grabs onto her wrists with delicacy, and she stares at her with worry flooding her eyes. If anything, it makes Inés feel more guilty.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just sorry" Inés repeats, sniffling and forcing a smile.

"You don't sound alright."

Bella pulls her in for a hug, and it's then that Inés worries about the plate of food in their lap that they had been sharing just a few moments ago. Said plate now is nowhere to be seen in the sofa, turns out Bella moved it to the coffee table once she started kissing them. See? Those little things, that's the stuff that makes Inés go crazy, and now everything somehow has a deeper undertone, and she knows the reason for their actions, and it's beautiful an painful, and it makes her feel more guilty.

"Then why'd you ask?" she tries to joke, it doesn't sound like a joke.

my love

Bella strokes her back, and it's funny how every single time, the three times they've seen each other, she cries. She's never been much of a crier, but Bella knows her as one. She's not sure she likes that.

"Tell me what's wrong darling."

"Nothing, I just— really missed you." She's not lying, there really is nothing wrong. Only every single thing about herself, but that's not news. Bella hugs her a little tighter, and that's all she needs to feel a little better, like she hasn't just realized how much really Bella has fallen for her and the weight of it all.

She supposes she can ignore it for a little bit. Enjoy the moment while it lasts, right?

"I missed you more. I came back... I'm here" Bella says into her ear, with a soft chuckle following behind her words.

"Shut up." Inés laughs, embarrassed. She sniffles again, but this time a smile comes out with the little hiccup.

"You sure you're alright?"

my love

"I'm perfectly fine" she says, finally feeling like she won't break down crying again. "But I do want to kiss you again... Can I do that?

"If it makes you feel better, then I guess you'll have to do it." Bella pulls her face away from their side to look at her with a smile. they're still hugging her, hands in her waist now.

"You're so corny."

"You love it."

Inés doesn't answer, instead she jumps into her lips like her life depends on it. And this kiss is deeper, and desperate, and faster.

The taste of Bella's lips is enough to keep her going, and they're so soft and like everything she could ever need to survive. "I missed you." she says with eyes closed, still kissing her.

Inés passes her hands through Bella's torso, really feeling their presence and tightening the grip on their upper waist. Bella also moves their hands, tracing her whole body and causing sensations Inés isn't used to feeling.

"You already said that." Bella smirks through the kiss, knowing the effect he has on her, taking pride in it. Their touch is soft and new, and good.

"Well, it's true." Inés sighs to the touch, really enjoying it.

"It was two weeks, imagine when we can't see each other for months."

Inés sighs, opening her eyes and seeing Bella right in her face. "Don't make me think of that Bells. Please let me just enjoy this right now."

"Sorry love."

"Okay your britishness just ruined the moment. Actually, no. You saying you won't see me for months ruined the moment. What's wrong with you?" Inés holds onto Bella's cheeks with both hands and smiles at them.

"I wasn't aware we were having a moment, sorry babe." Bella chuckles. Inés feels those fluttery feelings in her stomach when their noses touch.

"Oh, we were very much having a moment just there, stinky. And you ruined it."

"Why? Because I placed my hand, here?" Bella moves her hand and puts it above her heart again. Inés flushes at the touch, and nods, their noses still touching.

"Yes, because of that." She swallows, not really knowing what to say, everything feels dizzy again.

"Let's have another moment then, if that's alright with you." Bella's breath reaches Inés and she just wants to put their lips together again, but she's curious where this will go.

"It's very alright with me."

What was she crying about just minutes ago? She can't remember when Bella's hand is where it is, and when she's looking at her like that, with that glint in her eyes.

Bella lifts up their face just a little and places a small kiss on Inés's nose, and that's it. She's collapsing. She cannot handle all this things happening at the same time. It's too much. She cuts the distance between them and pulls her from the neck with both hands, needing to feel her closer.

It catches them off-guard, when Inés leans back in the couch and pulls them with her. Bella opens his eyes wide, noticing the bold move from the girl and quickly moving his hand so he doesn't fall on top of her. Inés doesn't let him go just yet, but grabs tighter into his arms and moving her kisses to Bella's jaw.

She opens her eyes, feeling similar touches in her neck. She likes that, and she lets Bella know by low sighs and more kisses.

They're both flushed red, but they keep going, until they run out of breath again. And Bella sits back again. Their lips swollen and red. Inés knows she looks like that too, she doesn't mind it.

Bella breaths heavily, and Inés watches as their chest goes up and down, and they pass a hand through their hair. It's hypnotic.

"You like that moment?"

Inés only lets out a breathy chuckle, looking away. She's still laying down on the armrest, also breathing slowly. "A bit."

"A bit? What's that supposed to mean?"

She sits down again, staring at him with hungry eyes, the same ones Bella's looking at her with too. "You could definitely do better."

"Better? Really?"

"Yeah, it was good, but I could teach you more."

"Oh so I'm inexperienced?"

"I'm just joking Bells, you were good. Very good. Sorry for trying to keep flirting." She laughs and stands up from the couch to stretch her legs.

"Well, I don't appreciate your flirting when it diminishes my kissing abilities."

Inés walks around the living room, chuckling. "Such a baby, I swear to god."

"Just come back here, I'll show you some good kissing."

She looks at them with a smirk. "They better be good," she starts walking towards the couch again, but she doesn't sit back in her place. She stays standing there, in front of Bella.

Their face scrunches up as they grab her hands and pull her into them "Get over here." Now Inés is on her knees on the couch with Bella sitting under her, she doesn't want to squish her, so she stays like that touching her forehead with Bella's.

"Really?" Inés laughs.

"Just sit, you won't hurt me." Once Bella realizes Inés won't do it on her own, he places his hands right above her ass and pushes her down, that way Inés is sitting on Bella's lap.

"God, this is so weird." she laughs.

"Shh, don't ruin the moment."

Inés cackles, and she tilts her face backwards, letting go of Bella but still sitting there. Bella's hands haven't moved, they're steady on her lower back so she doesn't fall. "Really?"

"Yeah, you're ruining it. Horribly." Bella laughs too, and the tension dissipates just like that.

"Fix it then."

And so Bella does, kissing her and pulling her just a little closer, not that Inés minds. She puts her elbows over their shoulders again and passes her hands through their hair.

For some reason, Inés starts laughing again, a laugh attack, as if something was tickling her.

"What's wrong? What's so funny?" Bella asks, putting their hands on the girl's hips and moving her whole body a few inches away to be able look at her face. She smiles at her, and looks for her eyes.

"I don't know." She manages to say with her eyes closed. She laughs louder now. "God this is so weird. We have to get out of here."

"What? Why?"

"If my sister walks through that door and sees us like this, I don't think you'll ever see me again." She points to the front door. From there, there's a clear path all the way to the living room, and the couch they're sitting on is the first thing to show up when you enter the house.

"We're not doing anything bad."

"Bug, look at us. Really look at us. What do you think she'll think if she sees me like this with you?"

"I love it when you call me bug."

"Bell this is not the time."

"Get off me then."

Inés frowns. "I don't want to."

Bella tilts her head, putting on her most serious face. It doesn't last though, she starts laughing too. "And I'm the baby she says" Bella let's out a snort, which only makes Inés' laughter worse. "Hug me, tight."

Inés obeys without needing to be told twice, and Bella stands up, holding her just as tightly. "Shit I forgot you're jacked." the girl says letting out a gasp when she feels the movement.

Bella laughs. "I'm not jacked. I'm just quite strong. Now where's your room?"

"Upstairs. Can you handle some steps?"

"You doubt me?"

"I'm just asking a reasonable question."

"Just don't move a lot or we'll both fall and die." Bella says when they reach the steps. Inés still holding Bella tightly and wrapping her legs around her girlfriend.

"So dramatic and for what?"

"I'll drop you."

Inés gasps, "Don't you dare."

"I'm just playing, I would kill myself before letting you fall."

"Again with the theatrics."

"You like them."

"I do."

"Now where?"

"Right."

"Mkay."

. . • . ° .• °:. *° .

Upon entering the room, Bella lets out an amazed sigh, like she couldn't have guessed that it would look like this. And that's when Inés let's go and easily steps on the floor again. She missed being taller them them.

"Sorry for the mess, I wasn't expecting visitors." Thw girl smiles as she runs to her bed and she quickly, sort of, flattens out the blankets. "And I woke in this terrible mood this morning so I didn't clean up."

"Terrible mood? Oh, yeah– the article, right?" Bella is walking through her bookshelves, watching all her decorations and figures and everything that is on them, including the several books she has there.

"Right."

"Just so you know. I'm not mad you shared the pic. If anything I'm glad you did, so people know you're taken." Bella looks at her with a face she can't decipher, so she just raises her eyebrows and replies.

"Why is it important if I'm taken or not?"

Bella starts walking towards her, that look still in her face. "So people know they don't have a chance with you." They purse their lips, like they're not even slightly ashamed of saying that. Like it's not the cringiest thing Bella has ever said.

"Oh, so we're possessive now. Are we?" Inés laughs.

"Are we about to have another moment?" The short one says in a whisper, like they could be caught doing something wrong. They're so close now, Inés can see their pupils so clearly dilated, and their puffed out lips. And for a second, she considers it.

They're in her room, in the privacy of her own room. No one could object if they had another moment, could they?

"No."

Inés turns and walks away to her window, chuckling softly. She's crazy for even thinking about it. She has to remind herself it's only the third time they see each other in real life.

"Come on, you were enjoying it downstairs." they say in a playful tone.

"I know, that's why."

"Are you scared?" They ask. Inés sits down on the bay window's cushion, she nods slightly, looking at the floor.

"A little."

"Okay." Inés appreciates that, but it somehow feels wrong. Is that supposed to happen? Is Bella supposed to agree with stopping?

Huh.

What else is supposed to happen in a normal relationship? Is that even something Inés wants to know?

"Wanna go on a date?"

Inés is taken aback. "What?"

"Do you want to go out with me? We're both free right now, let's go do something fun."

"Did you just ask me on a date after touching my boobs and my ass?" Inés faces them. Bella is now sitting by her side on the bay window, and she gasps.

"Hey, you let me touch your boob —singular—, and I didn't touch your arse."

"But you did, when we were going upstairs." she squints her eyes as she says it, like it's a huge deal, and maybe it should be, but she doesn't really care.

Bella goes red, and puts a hand to her face. "I'm so sorry!"

The girl laughs, "Relax bug! I'd love to go out with you. But where? Wait! You have to meet Mill and Jake. I'll go ask them if they're free."

She runs to her bed again, where she left her phone as soon as she entered the room, and starts looking for it.

"Babe, baby— darling." Bella says in an unsuccessfull attempt to get her attention. "Love, Inés!"

It just hits her now, how weird it is when Bella says her name. He's always calling her some sort of nickname instead.

"What?"

"I was thinking just us two."

"Oh, sure."

"Come on angel."

She hadn't heard that nickname out loud yet, not in real life. "Whenever you call me that I feel like Aziraphale, and you do give Crowley vibes If I'm completely honest."

"What's a Crowley?"

She opens her eyes wide and stares at her. "Don't fucking tell me you haven't watched or read Good Omens."

"I'm sorry?"

"You're like, british— you should know about this! We have to watch it together. Forget going out, we're watching Gomens right now. Do you like popcorn? I can make us some. Let's go downstairs!"

She starts rambling like this whenever she's either excited or nervous, for some reason Bella only gives her a tender smile as a response, then his whole face changes. "Did I carry you here for nothing?"

"I— enjoyed it? Thanks." she gives them a thumbs up. Bella shrugs, admitting that's the only reason she did it for anyways.

Inés walks over to her bookshelf and picks up a hardcover book. "This is my copy of the illustrated version. It's signed so be careful. Read it."

"Oh, Good Omens." Bella reads the cover, exaggerating their own accent. They open it and see the autographs. "Neil Gaiman, Michael Sheen— David Tennant, I knew you still talked to him!"

"He's a friend, we still talk every once in a while, and Ty is really cool, honestly. We talk sometimes."

"Ty?"

"His son, well, his oldest son. He's about my age I think. He's an actor too, he's in that Game Of Thrones new series. I don't know, I never watched Game of Thrones except for when Lydia made me watch because she found out Pedro was in it and I only watched that part so– "

"I'm in Game Of Thrones too."

"And you were a baby, yeah I know. I watched a youtube compilation about it. The show? I couldn't get past the first episode, not really my type of fantasy if I'm honest. But this?" she points at the book, "This is the good stuff, now let's go downstairs."

"Can we go back to this Ty guy, please?" Bella says, gripping the book as they walk through the hallway.

"Want to see a picture? I got a selfie from the last time we hung around," Inés jokes as she looks down at Bella, she can't help but notice the jealousy from miles away and she decides to play along.

"Not really, but thanks." he chuckles.

"Thank God you said no because I don't actually have a picture. I do, however, have a picture of us."

"Us?"

"Remember my camera? I finally revealed the film and got the pictures! They're downstairs."

"Let's go then."

"Well hurry you lazy ass!"

. . • . ° .• °:. *° .

There's popcorn on the floor, and the takeout left untouched, the TV playing a series about a demon and an angel. No one's watching it attentively, but the older girl every once in a while glances back at the screen, and tells Bella about what's happening, telling them all about the characters and their motivations and whatever else she finds interesting.

"Girlfriend, when will we do something fun?" Bella asks, passing a hand through that girl's hair. It's not that she's not enjoying this with her, but she's not really catching up with the plot of the whole thing.

"Bell this is fun, those two are in love, you don't understand. See how he looks at him while he eats? God that's true love." Bella knows Inés is enjoying this way more than she is, and so she lets it pass. She focuses back on the screen as she tries to flick popcorn into her mouth once again.

They're sprawling all over the couch, manspreading in a way the girl tries not to think too much about, and Inés is laying her legs above Bella's thighs, sprawling in opposite direction. That way they can both take a good look of the other, and they're still touching. Still making sure their presence is real.

"Babe, catch!" Bella throws one popcorn right into Inés' mouth, who munches on it with a big grin and gives out a thumbs up, proud of being able to catch the small thing.

"Buggie,"

"What's wrong love?"

"Can you stay tonight?" she ask, then she thinks about her words, and what they could potentially imply. She doesn't mean anything by it. "I just, don't want to say goodbye. And you're already here. We could have a sleepover, right?"

"Do you think your sister will allow that?"

"She gave you the keys to my house and is letting the two of us stay here completely alone, what she won't allow is you climbing through my window like a fucking cliché."

"Alright then, I'll stay" Bella chuckles at the implication of what Lydia might be thinking they're doing right now.

"Kiss me."

Bella doesn't object, but Inés is to far too reach and they are so comfortable right now they just know they won't be able to get in the exact same position again if they move. So he takes her wrist, and places a soft kiss on the back of her hand. Her reaction is everything Bella needs to continue breathing, watching her round cheeks go all red and how she looks around, so nervous she can't even look at them anymore.

Bella wants to cause those reactions in her everyday, and she wants to make up for everything that she knows has gone wrong with Inés' life. It's not difficult to tell Inés is struggling, with other stuff apart from whatever their relationship status is. Whatever she says about not caring what other people think, Bella sees right through those lies, even if Inés herself believes them.

Inés is delicate, and she has gone through so much stuff Bella doesn't know about, and he wants to make up for it. He wants to be there for her to tell him about her fears and to open up. Bella wants her to be herself, because he knows Inés is strong. Even though fragile, Inés is powerful and she can be just as shiny as the sun when she feels confident in herself.

With all these rumors lately, and the comments about her coming out, and just the internet in general, Bella perfectly knows what it feels like to loose yourself to the criticism. And she perfectly knows Inés is feeling like that right now, especially with what Lydia has told her about the girl.

Bella appreciates the trust she has given them, even if she's so clearly stated how much hell she's gonna bring upon them if they ever hurt Inés. Of course they don't want to ever hurt Inés, no threats needed.

Starting to text her had been awkward at first, with having to ask Pedro for her number and then having to explain to both of them what her plans were and how they could work them out.

"Listen here, I know your intentions are good. And I know this will go alright. But keep in mind that this girl is my girl, okay? And if you ever —ever— do something to her, you don't know what's coming for you. Understand?" Those had been her first words when she answered that first video call, and Bella remembers firmly nodding in acceptance, not afraid of having The Talk with the woman.

Of course, then Lydia softened, and that's when she confessed something about Inés, something Bella already suspected. How she checked the news everyday during breakfast, and looked online for comments on her appearance or her sexuality, or even her accent (because for some reason people thought her accent seemed a little too forced, like she was forcing herself to sound more latina or whatever) so she could 'just know what people think'.

How even with Lydia trying to look at the positives of it all, Inés seemed to be leaving the house with a bit of a mood every day now, and the only thing that lifted her up was a big cup of coffee or receiving a text from them.

Lydia had told her bits and scraps of her past relationship and how it didn't end well, although she didn't go into much detail for the sake of her sister. Bella would never push Inés to talk about it, but they could —and will— make sure she doesn't feel let down ever again.

Bella would stay the night and every day if it meant that Inés always had that playful glint in her eyes just like now. After doing something so small like a kiss on the hand, Bella could only imagine how big the smile would be when she woke up one day to the two of them together in bed, snuggling with each other.

Bella wants to be that person for her, the one who's always by her side to support her whenever she needs it. All they hope is that their eyes can tell them that.

They know Inés isn't ready to hear those words. Hell, Bella themself isn't ready to say them out loud, but they know what they feel, and this love is something Bella has not experienced before. She hopes she can love her alright, and that it's enough for her.

"Look! Crowley's the nanny! They're undercover so the child doesn't grow up to be the antichrist but they don't know they got the wrong kid." Inés suddenly turns to the TV again, pointing with her free hand to the screen and showing Bella the scene: David Tennant, with the stylish red hair and a black dress walking down to a house.

Bella doesn't understand what it is all about, but considering her girlfriend's joyful face, she loves it. "That's so stupid though." Bella chuckles.

"I know, they're idiots. That's like the whole point." Inés turns to them, excited to see Bella finally interested in the series. "You're gonna love the intro of episode three."

That happiness —that genuine joy— it makes Bella keep watching, and as promised, it's not as bad. It actually is quite good, a nice little surprise. As it turns out, Bella does find himself identifying with Crowley, the fallen angel, but not more than he finds similarities between the cute fluffy angel and the girl by his side.

Time sure flies when you have fun. It gets dark outside and the series is halfway through when the girl's phone buzzes in her jeans pocket. The two of them have slowly shifted into another position in the couch where Inés lays pretty much above Bella, who is still watching the TV attentively.

"Who is it?" Bella asks without looking away, more interested in the series than ever.

"Lyds. She says something came up, that she's going to stay away for a little more."

"Mhm. Cool."

Inés looks up at them, then she smiles. "Bell, she's not coming home yet."

"I heard," Bella nods, a toothy grin showing up on their face as the girl slightly shakes their arm.

"Buggie, we have more time. We can maybe make out some more."

"I thought you wanted me to watch this."

"Look at me. I want to kiss you now though."

Bella turns, and sees her laying on their chest. They smile at her as they let out a soft chuckle. "What will I do with you?"

"You can start by some kisses."

"Darling, do you really want to?"

"Yess."

"Okay then. But wait just a bit, Aziraphale is about to do something very stupid."

Inés cackles, looking back at the tv and nodding, "Oh, yeah. You're not gonna be very happy."

The scene unfolds and Bella is shocked at how quickly everything just ends between the two characters, in a five minute conversation. Six thousand years of friendship thrown to the trash. "That's rubbish!"

"Told you."

"Just like that! I hate this show what the fuck was that?!!"

"The bandstand divorce is my favorite scene."

Bella grabs the controller and pauses the television, looking straight into her eyes. "What? You love to suffer so much your favorite scene is this scene?"

"I don't know, I just love it."

Bella pulls her into a one arm hug, and Inés snuggles up on their chest again, giving up on having that kiss. Bella places one on her forehead though, and it's almost as good.

"You're being oddly cuddly right now." Bella says.

"I know, I hate it." Inés hides deeper into their flattened chest and shakes her head. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be, I like it. Come here." She looks up, and Bella is already pursing her lips, waiting for Inés to just do it. It's a small kiss, and it's not like the kisses from before, but it's as sweet and romantic as Bella is. That peck is just Bella being Bella, soft and cute, and full with kindness.

"I like being here."

"I like that you're here."

. . • . ° .• °:. *° .

"I'm here!" the voice of the woman reaches Inés in the living room as her sister walks through the door.

She stands up careful to not move Bella around and walks up to her to help her with the grocery bags, "Shhh, They're asleep," she says as they go to the kitchen.

"Must have been a long flight, right?"

Inés places the bags on the counter and lets out a long sigh. "I guess, we didn't really talk about that."

Lydia stops putting the groceries out of the bags, and stares at her sister with those murderous eyes for a second. Inés giggles. Lydia then chuckles too. "Tell me everything!"

Yes, Lydia has been somewhat like a mother to Inés, and she is very overprotective of her too, but after all, they are best friends, through and through.

"Today was the weirdest day, what can I say? Where do I even start?"

"Well, at the beginning of course."

"Right. Well, you know Bella is like a stalker— " That's how she actually ends up telling her about this morning and how she surprised her with the video and every little detail. The weird kidnapping by Ludo and the ice cream. The definition of the mental image in Lydia's brain drastically diminishing when the details stop being so, well detailedOnce Inés starts telling her about their time in the house.

"And then what did you do?"

"We watched TV."

"That's it?"

"Yes, that's it. We watched tv and then Bella fell asleep." Inés nods with a thin smile, limiting her word usage and trying her best to keep it cool. She's not good acting in front of her family. Other people? Sure, but with Lydia? She is a terrible liar.

As Inés keeps putting the groceries away in the cupboard and Lydia starts cooking up dinner, she notices the labels in each thing that she bought. How the 'vegan' tag is there in every single item, and she doesn't say anything. She just smiles at the woman when she's not looking at her.

"Alright, so you spent all day watching television? Sounds like a fun day" Lydia says, grinning. It's clear she doesn't believe a single thing, but Inés won't let her guard down.

Inés rolls her eyes. "Of course we didn't just do that. We talked, turns out she's never seen Good Omens, that's why we watched tv actually."

She walks towards her sister, leaning against the other counter next to Lydia. The older woman takes the wooden spoon that she's been stirring the food with and shoves it inside Inés's mouth before she can even say anything. "How is it?"

"Good." Inés says, she doesn't have a clue of what her sister is preparing, but it tastes amazing.

"Perfect. Now, surelet's say you 'talked', and 'watched tv'..." Lydia continues stirring the food like it's no big deal, her grin only becoming wider and wider. "Then how do you explain this?"

Before she knows, her sister's hand is on her chin and she moves it up, stretching her neck slightly up, her finger points at that specific sensible spot on her neck. The girl closes her eyes realizing what she's pointing at.

Lydia laughs out loud. The younger girl automatically puts a hand on her sister's mouth to shut her up and so stops making so much goddamned noise. "Stop it."

"What is this?"

"Alright so we didn't just talk and watch tv."

"Tell me something I don't know."

"But we didn't do anything bad. We kissed for a bit. That's it."

Lydia's eyes stare deeply into her face as she hums, and she can feel how she's reading her mind and looking for any miniscule proof or evidence of what she's saying being true, but then Lydia laughs again, and lets go of her like she didn't just look into her soul.

"What the fuck?"

"I believe you." She says, back onto stirring the pan.

"You don't." She squints her eyes.

"No I don't, but I really don't want to keep thinking about it."

Inés laughs, then hears sound coming from the living room. Rubbing their eyes and stretching, there comes a still sleepy Bella, walking directly towards her.

"Do you need help?" They hug her, wrapping their arms completely around her and resting their face on Inés shoulder. When they spot the woman by the stove they mumble a soft "Hello Lydia." before closing their eyes again. Their smile still plastered on their lips.

The woman only looks at Inés with a confused look on her face, and Inés shrugs not understanding when her partner woke up. She wraps her arms around Bella's shoulders too, patting their back softly. "Don't fall asleep, you're standing."

Bella seems to be falling asleep again, but then a soft melody lets the women know they're not in fact, asleep. "I'm still standing, yeah yeah yeah" Or maybe they are, their voice comes out really slurred and it sort of worries Inés for a second.

"Tell your zombie girlfriend to wake up. Food's almost ready." Lydia says, trying to hold in her laughter as she starts setting the table.

"I'm up," they babble. Bella opens her eyes wide open, and looks up to Inés, although she isn't sure Bella is really looking to her. "I'm up."

"Bell, buggie. Come on, wake up."

She shakes her a little, and Bella finally wakes up, letting out a long yawn and looking confusedly at her girlfriend. "What happened? Where am I?"

"Do you sleepwalk?" she asks with a smile, Bella looks so adorable like that all sleepy and with their hair a little tangled up.

"What?"

"Bell, you walked all over here asleep, and then you tried to sing."

She giggles, closing her eyes and resting her forehead on Inés in shame. "Fuck."

"You're cute."

"You two are disgustingly sweet, I can't handle it."

Bella ignores Lydia and focuses only on Inés, that's all she can focus on right now. "Did I actually sleepwalk? It's been ages since I sleepwalked. I hate it."

"Come on, let's have dinner."

guys i miss you so much!!!!! (this is a long note so just bare with me)

sorry, really a million times sorry for not uploading this last week, i just got back with school and we're almost on finals and everything got pushed together and me and my friends have this competition tomorrow and we were busy with our project!!!

our project is a diy mschf red big boots made out of cardboard and recycled newspaper, the competition is basically to make a garment or clothing made out of recycled stuff, wish us luck plss!! we really want to win. (for photo evidence go follow me on isnta @/pxrpls)

and so yeah, i haven't got the time to actually sit down and write but i wrote this 6k monster throught this and last week so i hope it's not sloppy (i won't fix it yet if it is but i do hope it makes sense lol)

anyways here it is, more fluff on my part, mostly to make up for this last week, but also we're starting slow with the angst. Our first few lines of doubts from inés aaaa i can't wait to write it!!! but don't worry for now my babies are safe and sound with lydia to protect them from any harm.

also a bit of hormonal teens?? i won't do smut on this story bc come on, i don't want to— but its perfectly normal for teens to be hormonal and do hormonal teen stuff, like we see bella and inés doing this chapter. i think it adds onto the fluff somehow, i love them.

bella being a somnambulist in this fic is my favorite thing ever because i was a sleepwalker when i was a kid and i literally walked down the stairs of my house and had full on conversations with people before waking up and being all freaked out about not being in bed. adding it was kind of a last minute thing, but i though it would make sense with them also struggling to sleep and needing the melatonin and having been in a huge flight recently, the time zone change and everything, i know those things trigger my sleepwalking and sleeptalking, specially just stress in general.

and ugh lydia buying vegan groceries for bella literally warms my heart so much and aaaa idk i love her sm

inés is a good omens fan because i am a good omens fan and i say so. Inés is so aziraphale coded too, ugh i literally love her sm. if you haven't watched the show literally what are you waiting for? go watch it it's on prime video and season two is coming in the summer.

i hope you guys enjoy, i'll try to get something written down this weekend!! if not, maybe i'll post a one shot on tumblr or something (go follow me there too, im also as pxrpls)

I LOVE YOU GUYS THANK YOU FOR 30K HOLY SHIT!!! MWAH MWAH!!
