I found myself waking up before Peter, his arm still draped around my body keeping my back against his chest. I gently removed his arm sneaking out from the bed trying not to wake him, I didn't want to leave him but I had to find out more about Tony.

I opened and closed the door gently behind me as I left Peter alone in his bed, his scent still followed me in his shirt. I kept my eyes on Peters door as I quietly walked away being very cautious not to wake anyone so early in the morning, I'd even beat the sun up. Unfortunately I wasn't quiet enough I ran into a mans chest "what are you doing?" He asked his eyebrows furrowed down to me. It was Tony.

"U-um I was just" I stuttered to try to find an excuse. He shook his head indicating that he wouldn't believe a word that left my mouth.

"Alexis, you don't need to worry" he said his facial expression softened. "You and your friends are safe here"

I didn't know wether to believe him or not as Peter hadn't been so kind to him, humans can be very judgmental and first meetings are always crucial not to stuff up. "I don't believe you" I snarked back my arms crossing.

"Go put some proper clothes on and I'll show you something" he said dismissively. I turned back to my room and set off to get changed.

Once I was changed I met up with Tony again, he walked me to a place he called a lab. "What is all of this?" I asked, the big red and yellow suit catching my eye the most.

"I'm apart of a group much like you are, except my group is a bit more professional and high-tech" he said obviously hinting at the fact we all looked a little bit sketchy. "The Avengers" he smiled "We we're assembled to help keep New York and the rest of the world safe from intergalactic beings such as you and your friends. Anything unknown is a threat." He said. "We didn't necessarily need the Avengers. I was enough but Nick Fury had other ideas." He finished. As he was about to tell me more he was interrupted by a very angry and concerned Quill

"Where is she?!" He yelled his blasters in hands locked and loaded, within a matter of seconds Tony had one of the Iron man gauntlets around his hand the surge of electricity generating a high pitched frequency as it charged up to unleash its fire. "I swear to god if you don't tell me where she is I'll shoot you" he said angrily.

"Stand down" Tony said in a calm tone "you don't know what your dealing with and I'm sure my firepower is a lot more advanced so it would be wise of you to lower your weapons now" he said in a stern tone.

"Peter, I'm right here. It's okay he didn't take me I came to him" I said stepping out from around the corner. His guns lowered hesitantly the anger disappearing from his face. "I'm sorry I left you, I needed to find out more" I said. He simply nodded his head and walked over to join the conversation.

"People like your boyfriend over here are the exact reason people like me are needed" he glared at Peter. Peter shot back a look that was meaner then Tony's. "Aliens and super humans were the reason my daughter was sent away. My wife Pepper, she was only my girlfriend at the time had given birth to our baby but she feared it wasn't safe for her with me being the owner of a weapons company so she used my technology to send her away with nothing more then a piece of paper with her name written on it" he looked down at the ground.

"What was her name?" Peter asked intrigued by the conversation.

Tony answered with hesitation before looking up at me. "Alexis"
