We're about to leave the dining room when CeCe stops us.

"You might as well stay here. Diner will be ready in five minutes. I'm going now to tell the rest of you all."

"Okay." We nod and go sit down.

Within five minutes, everyone has come to the Dining room and sat down. Now the dining room is filled with the sound of fifty teenagers voices.

"Okay, Okay. Can you settle down?" A woman says, while entering the room. She's wearing an apron that I think used to be white, but is now covered in stains of various colours. She has a chef hat on her head and a wooden spoon in hand. Her hair is blond, she has a barely noticeable mole on one cheek and is slightly chubby.

Most of us turn to look at her and the room quiets down.

"Thank you." She smiles. "I'm not sure if you noticed but there is a little pad of paper by each of your plates. It lists what I have made today. If you could circle what you would like and pass them to me, then I will bring you your food."

The paper, like so much else on this train, is blue. I look at what is written on it.

Wednesday, January 1st Menu
Spaghetti and meatballs
Steak and vegetables
Tomato soup
Garden Salad
Caesar Salad
BLT
Grilled cheese
Poutine

Wow, I expected maybe two choices. Not eight!

I circle the spaghetti and meatballs, then pass the paper to the cook. After looking over at Nate and Jennifer's papers I see that Nate asked for the steak, and Jennifer asked for a poutine and the garden salad.

"Everything will be out within ten minutes." The cook says, exiting the dining room.

I look around at the other Sixteens. Some of them are in my school so I know a few names, not many though. I don't think I've ever seen the girl who is sitting beside me before. She has neon pink hair, brown eyes and freckles. She's not talking to anybody so I decide to say hi.

"Hello! My name is Melody!" She says back enthusiastically.

"I'm Aria." I reply with a smile. "This train is pretty cool huh?"

"Yeah! It is! Have you noticed how so many things are blue? They must really, really love blue!" She says.

"I know, right?"

I talk to melody for a while before I see waiters in blue aprons carrying sliver trays filled with food. They set them down in front of the first ten people at the table and run back to get more plates. Because I sat on the other end of the table, my food is one of the last to be brought out.

The food here is delicious, better then anything I've ever tasted. I can tell everyone else feels the same way by the looks on their faces. When we're done eating, nobody has even a crumb leftover on their plates, which seems to please the cook.

Melody walks with me, or more like skips beside me, back to the room were are all staying in and I find out that her bed is only two over from mine. Me, her, Jen, and Nate all play one of the games they have on the train for a while.

CeCe walks in the room and claps her hands to get our attention.

"I see you're all having fun!" She smiles.

"We are!" Melody squeals, which makes Jennifer and Nate laugh.

CeCe continues, "But, it's time for you to get some sleep. We will be waking up early tomorrow! And, in case you were wondering, the other stops I mentioned earlier will be during the night. You hopefully won't be waken by them."

"Miss! We don't have anything to wear other than what we have on now..." A boy with jet black hair says.

"Don't worry. Clothes will be supplied." CeCe laughs. "If you look on the shelves by your beds you will see that we have set some clothes for tomorrow and something for you to wear to bed."

She tell us where the bathrooms are, although, I of course already knew, and then walks away.

I go check what she gave me. It's a pair of blue, white and black plaid pyjama pants and a blue shirt. The rest of the girls have the same thing.

The clothes for tomorrow are in a box underneath, but, I decide not to open it until the morning.

After getting changed I climb up the ladder into my bed, which I have to say is SO comfortable, and try to fall asleep. The excitement keeps me up for a while, but I eventually fall asleep.
