Around a week or so has passed since their last encounter of zombies and running on with little to no sleep. It's hard to keep track of what day it is when you no longer have electronic devices to tell the time and day.

You start to realize how heavy we depend on them until we lose them.

Regardless of that, they were lucky to have found a small house in a rural area, they blocked the windows from the first level they manage to find a few working watches. This home seemed to be owned by older couples due to seeing older couple pictures of them being younger.

The house was a three-floor home with three bathrooms. They took advantage of showering and getting into clean clothes.

There was still food in the cabinets, untouched as if no one had been in the house for a while.

Some were more bitten by bugs than others. They were taking shifts to be the lookout while everyone was either catching up with their sleep or refreshing themselves.

Tenya was reviewing their plan on taking the road with a pickup truck in the garage with full fuel and a spare gas tank. They were lucky to be able to have a refuge for a bit until everyone was good to go on another long trip.

In the meantime, everyone was practicing on their hand on hand combat because there is a chance that they won't be able to use their quirks without attracting demons. They couldn't be lacking when their lives were on the line. They have to be prepared for anything.

Anything.

The possibilities are endless on what is going on in the outside world.

As for (Name) could only move for a short amount of time before collapsing on the ground. Your body is still recovering from the stress of overusing your quirk.

You were surprisingly alive at this point in time. Due to the numerous ambushes of zombies and no one has been affected. It's kind of too nice.

It's highly suspicious.

No one has seemed to be scratched or bitten if they are. They are doing a great job of pretending everything is okay. It seems like they found a good place that hasn't attracted any zombies.

But you have a theory that it could be due to the garden the home was surrounded by. It's just theory but you aren't going to check on the theory at the cost of your life.

Just plain out no.

It would mean trial and error which you weren't willing to be a guinea pig to experiment on.

Midoriya thinks the gang that invaded the camp messed with the brakes to prevent people from going anywhere far. Everyone believes that theory of what happened to the brakes of the Jeep.

It's a high possibility of an explanation of what happened back in the Jeep. The car was completely fine beforehand.

You don't plan on exposing your past to your classmates since it could change their point of view on you. You prefer to keep your past in the past. You moved with your mother to get away from that life since you didn't want to be apart of it.

On the other hand of things, you personally doubt there are any survivors back at U.A sadly.

There was a high chance those who got scratched or bitten were turned into those things.

It's your turn to take a shift of being on the lookout. There were two lookouts on the second-floor roofs in the opposite direction from each other.

We can't have the lights on anywhere in the house since we found out they are attracted to light.

Similar behavior as moths who are attracted to lights.

You are laying on the roof outside of the second floor with your arm resting behind your neck.

You kept your eyes looking at the dark night sky. The stars shining brightly among the dark sky and the full moon clear of any clouds. The moonlight shining upon the garden of different kinds of flowers moving along the wind.

You tried to connect the stars but failing miserably what kind of star it is. You also suck at astrology regardless. You were thinking to keep yourself busy while being alert for any possible attacks.

You hear the wooden floor creak behind you causing you to look behind you to see your loud mouth classmate.

"Oi." You sit up to see your typical firecracker holding two bowls of soup.

"Thank you." You thank him and take one of the warm bowls and pick up the spoon to start digging into your dinner.

It was surprisingly delicious since Bakugou barely cooks at the dorms because he barely cooks in the dorms. It was once in blue moon or whenever he wanted to be in the kitchen.

However, due to the situation in hand, they all had to take turns on cooking while training or keeping watch. No time to argue.

When you were almost done, you could feel your tongue started to burn.

"Couldn't handle the spice?" Bakugou smugly smirks as he continues to eat his own soup.

Your eyes started to tear up and feeling your whole face is about to explode. You could feel the blood rushing up to your cheeks.

"Asshole."

You climb inside the window to see a glass of milk to drink completely to only sigh in relief to feel some of the heat cooling down. Your tongue is still tingling at the spiciness. It was one of the types you wouldn't know the spiciness until it was too late. It was like an aftertaste.

When you had climbed inside to notice more of his homemade grenade in a sling bag where he started to prep them.

"Hm, why did you create more of your homemade grenade?" You asked sitting a few feet away from him.

You DID NOT want to be near one if it were to explode.

"We are planning to leave soon regardless. I would rather be prepared than not. I don't have a plan on dying anytime soon." Bakugou ignores your confused stare.

You were confused about how intelligent he is but still making unstable homemade grenades.

"You are gonna die. You are not an expert. Those are unsteady and explode at any time." You voiced your thoughts when you worried stare at the grenades.

There was a pause of silence in the air.

"I have gotten better at it," Bakugou mumbles underneath his breath as he twists the top cap of the grenade.

Your eyes widen to hear something so out of character from bakugou. He admits he isn't the best.

"Are you okay?" You asked out of concern for him.

"What the fuck is that kind of question is that!? I am fine!" Bakugou growls angrily, as he stands up. He throws the last grenade inside the bag that was over his shoulder before taking the dirty bowls.

You looked at him worriedly knowing something is clearly bothering him.

Hopefully, he will open when he is more comfortable.

It could be how our reality to be heroes were flipped upside down. There is a possibility. There aren't gonna be heroes, but more of survivors instead.

The reality that they are in. You gotta fight and protect yourself in order to survive this new world.

There are no laws now. Anything is pretty much legally because you doubt there is anyone enforcing the rules anymore.

Everyone is just thinking about how to survive.

Everyone is learning how to adapt and cope with everything we had lost.

We could have lost fellow classmates to family members.

More importantly, heroes who were in the top ranks on keeping society safe.

They no longer have the value of being called a hero.

There are no longer labels of heroes or villains.

We are either dead or survivors.

[Name] had switch shifts with Bakugou, but you remained on the roof with him. You had turned on your side using your arm as a pillow and slept beside Bakugou who argued with you. In the end, he accepted the fact; he couldn't change your mind. You were stubborn when it comes to changing your mind once you already have decided.

You claim you never liked having someone by themselves if there was an emergency.

Bakugou was doing his own thing to keep himself busy while keeping watch. He didn't want to be bored to death to the point that he would fall asleep.

However, you started trembling during your sleep which Bakugou covered you with his jacket. It was getting hot anyway.

You remain trembling but harsher. You kept mumbling something under your breath.

"Oi!" He shook you, but more like pushed you with his foot.

He was starting to get concerned, perhaps you were having a nightmare. You were shaking too much that would make anyone worry.

Your body was slowly starting to glow in [favorite color] as they twitch.

In your dream state, You were running away from something as you had a metal brace around your neck that prevent you from using your quirk.

"Come here! Brat! Face your destiny!" The voice echo through the halls.

All of sudden you were grabbed to meet the eyes that are similar to yours, except with the shape of the pupil was of a star instead of the normal typical circular circle. Similar appearance, expect the height difference.

"[Nickname from childhood], thank goodness. You are alright! But there are numerous gangs joining forces with One for all. They share the same goal to get rid of any heroes. I wanted to warn you. You might have to use father training in order to survive. I know father was cruel and everything but the training you had with him will become handy. " He says as he softly squeezes your shoulder.

"I promise. You will need it."

"I have seen Luther already. Do you know why they are joining with the biggest villain of all time."

"That bastard, but they are joining him in order to survive. It's all about survival at this point." He explains as his appearance starts to glitch similar to a computer.

"Seems like I gotta go. I am still alive. Don't worry about me. You better stay alive until we meet again in reality." He gives you his famous smile, before glitching immediately.

"Daichi!" You called out your twin brother but you know he is gone.

It's been years since the two of you had any contact in the real world. But he would often visit in your dreams.

Your twin brother has the ability to contact someone in their minds as long as he has an item that was theirs. He has a psychic quirk which he is still learning new ways to use but you are beyond disbelieved.

He contacted you and tried to warn you what is to come. He is the reason why you running away was successful to move with your mother.

He stayed behind regardless of you begging him to come with you. Your parents' marriage wasn't built with true love but as an arranged marriage.

Your mother broke free from your father's grasp once the two of you were born. She divorced him but still kept fighting on having custody of the two of you. She managed to get custody of you which was the sole reason why you ran away from your father. He didn't have any legal custody over you. He couldn't drag you back into their business, unlike your brother. He still had power over him.

He was still trapped in the hands of your father's hands who would use his quirk for his own personal gain.

Your father would use him to hunt down the individuals that hold his money in other words. They have a debt to pay and try to run away from not paying.

You just hope your brother would use this chance to escape from your father's grasp. Like he said this is all about survival now. This is the world where there are any laws. Anything was legal pretty much.

The world has turned into a chaotic mess.

But you wonder how long would it take to find an antidote to prevent anyone from turning?

How many survivors would be left at that point in time?

How many heroes would be left?
