~DASHES PROV~

"Welcome to my crib, I know right? It's awsome." Turning around I see mason looking around my room.
"Oh yeah, dirty clothes all over the room, bed unmade, trash all over the room.. suites you perfectly." She says with sarcasm in her voice. My smile drops and I look around my room to see my dirty clothes, and trash everywhere. I decided I will hurry and clean it all up. And when I mean clean, I mean shove everything in my closet or in the garbage. I speed around my room picking up everything and putting it in my closet or in the trash. Now my room looks decent.. which is weird.
"Wow.." she says
"I know right, my rooms a beaut."
"That's not what I was gonna say and did you just say beaut?"
She says looking at me.
"I did, get over it. Now what were you gonna say, that my room is amazing, that it's better than yours, now wait! It is totally better than anybody else's." I say getting a little to excited.
" No, I was gonna say, that was the first time I've ever seen you clean."
My smile drops. And I stare at her.
She stares at me and gives me a smirk. "I'm going to pretend you never said that."
"You can pretend, but you will never forget. I bet you never cleaned before, do you even know how to clean?" She says lifting her eyebrows.
I shrug my shoulders like it didn't bother me. "Pfft. I've cleaned before. Yesterday I took the garbage out. Haha."
"Yeah, cause that's something to brag about."
"Wow, how is it that you win every argument we have?"
"Well, that wasn't really an argument."
"You know what lets just forget this conversation."
"Oh, how could I ever forget you braging about cleaning. That's in my memories now, I will never forget it...
Ever.."

She sits down in my chair and gives me a smirk and a look that says i-will-never-forget.
"Well, I'm going to pretend that this conversation never happend. So, you wanna watch a movie?" I looked at her and saw her face was blank. She shrugs her shoulders and gets up from the chair. "Your totally changing the subject."
"No I'm not. I'm just... yeah I got nothing. But do you want to watch a movie or no?"
"Sure, why not. What are we going to watch."
"I don't know, you pick."
"Fine."
She walks over to my pile of movies and looks threw them.
"How about this one?" She holds up 'holes' infront of my face. I give her a thumbs up and take it from her. As I'm putting in the movie, mason sets up a place where we can sit.

The movie starts and we take our seats. "Do you want popcorn?"
"Dude, you just ate... well more like scarfed down your food and you want more food? She says with a are-you-for-real look. But soon her look disappears and a grin forms on her face. "I approve of this, lets have some popcorn!" She says as shes about to get up. "No, you stay here I can get it, after all I am faster than you."
"Oh, wow that's how it is?"
"That's how it is."
She gets up from the floor and walks over to me, stopping only a few feet away from me and folds her arms.
"I bet you ten bucks that I can beat you."
I let a scoff, "you beat me? Seriously, I'm faster than anybody in this world!"
"Do you accept the challenge, or are you a chicken."
I give her a grin and decided to show her that I can never lose.
"I accept your challenge, first one in the kitchen wins."
We get in our starting positions about ready to run.
"Dont come crying to me when you lose." I say
"I could say the same thing." I look straight ahead ready to take off.
"3... 2.... 1. Go!"
I speed off into the kitchen leaving mason behind. 5 seconds later I run in the kitchen, only to see mason sitting on the counter...
"Took you long enough, I was getting bored." I stare at her in shock.
"How did you get here fast?"
"I can open portals remember?" She opens a portal and on the other side looks like my room.
"The thing is dash, i think you have too much confidence in you, that you were do distracted to realize, that I opened a portal to the kitchen and walk right threw it, right as you said go I was already on the counter." She says while putting the popcorn in the microwave.
I was still standing there in shock at how fast..wait.
"You cheated!"
"Prove it." She says.
"You opened your portal before I seven said go."
"Oh, yeah?" She turns around and waits for my answer.
"Yeah." She take a step forward and stared into my eyes.
"Prove it."
You just said you opened a portal!" I said raising my voice a little bit.
She folds her arms and gives me her famous grin.
Prove.. it."
Me being me gave up and gave her a glare instead because i can't prove it. I got no prove.
'BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.'
"The popcorns done!" She yells, she opens the microwave and grabs the popcorn and walks back to my room.
"Are you just going to stand there, or are you coming?" Can't believe I lost, I never lose. I start walking back to my room, I stop at my doorway and stare at her. She turns and looks back at me and says and I hoped she forgot.
"By the way you owe me ten bucks."
"Whatever. I'll  give it to you later."

We sat there finishing up the movie when my mom came in.
"Hey, mason?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you want to just sleepover tonight. I already called your mom and she said it was okay, but it's up to you."
My insides start to turn at the excitement, hoping she would say yes.
Please say yes, please say yes-
"Yeah, I'm fine with that, I just don't have pjs to wear."
"Oh I'm sure violet will lend you some clothes. I will see if she has some for you."
"Thank you." She walks out and goes to violets room and comes back shortly with pjs in her hands.
"Here, you can use these, she won't mind."
"Thank you Helen." She says taking the clothes. She nods and starts to walk out of the room, but then she stops and turns around.
"Oh, and I want you guys to go to bed after this movie."
"Alright mom, it's almost over anyways."
Okay, goodnight kids."
"Goodnight." Me and mason say in unison.

The movie finally ends and I turn my head to see mason fast asleep on my shoulder.
Awe shes so cute. The way her hair falls over her face, how she looks peaceful and relaxed in her sleep. The way-
I turn my head to my door as I hear talking out in the living room. I try to move mason without waking her up, but i failed as I see her eyes open.
"What are you doing?" She whispers while i walk to my door and open it. I hear to people talking, no arguing.
"Its not nice to ease drop on people's conversations."
"Shh, I want to listen."
"Whatever im going back to bed, good night dash."
"Good night, mason." I whisper back to her. I turn my head back to the argument thats happening out there.
