Panic In Paradise

Nothing could get worse...

The young boy patiently sat at the table, waiting for the familiar pinkette to wander back through the portal. Tommy was busy thinking. His thoughts got messier and messier the more he dwelled on the topic. Should he have told her? Would this be better if she knew? Could she have helped if she knew? Or would it all get worse? It was not until a couple of hours after their fiasco he was able to finally speak to Techno.

He emerged through the portal, exhausted. His braid y/n did before she left was loose and his clothes stank of ash. Techno was about ready to pass out.

"Technoblade, my friend!" Tommy called, rising from his seat and approaching the man.

Techno looked at the boy with disdain.

"What is it now Tommy?" Techno asked, clearly annoyed.

"Say, you and your friend get into an argument. Then, another friend walks in and becomes a part of the argument. But you refuse to tell them the context of said argument. Leading to them getting frustrated and possibly hating you for it. What would you do?" Tommy quickly briefed.

"Woah, slow down. You're speaking faster than anyone can comprehend."

"So, uh... Wilbur told me about the TNT," Tommy admitted, knowing Techno was briefly talked to about it beforehand.

"Uh-huh..."

"At first, I tried to talk Wilbur out of it. Cause you know. It's just reckless! And Wilbur should've thought—" Tommy began to ramble.

"Get back on topic," Techno reminded.

"Right, so y/n walked in on our conversation. Which turned into them arguing about not trusting her anymore."

"Wait, why shouldn't we trust her?" Techno asked.

"I have no idea! Something about her possibly being a spy and her not killing us cause she has a thing for you. Not on topic, but anyway!"

"A thing for me?" A blush formed on the pigman's face.

"Apparently," Tommy shrugged his shoulders. "Why have a thing for you, I have no clue. I mean, she could do so much better," Tommy confessed.

"Tommy," Techno growled. He was a bit sad at the young boy's response. Techno didn't think he was the best suitor but he thought he could've been enough for her. Tommy's words weighed a bit on Techno. Wait? Why is he worried about that? (it's a techno x reader narrator) Oh...

"Right, sorry. Then, Wilbur and I continued our discussion. Y/n was trying to get us to tell her about it, but none of us did. After that, she said some hurtful things and I don't know how to feel about it."

"Well, you kept something important from her Tommy. It is normal for her to get upset about it," Techno responded, moving on with his night. Tommy tagged along as Techno started to put things away in chests.

"It wasn't just me! Wilbur didn't tell her either!"

"Wilbur hasn't been the best person to talk to, especially now."

"So, what should I do?" Tommy asked. He was completely drained. Tommy didn't want to mess up what he had with Y/n. They were good friends. She was always someone he could come to just to cool off or mess around with. He couldn't imagine suddenly having her disappear on them.

"Give her some space. She probably needs time to cool off," Techno advised.

"Right," Tommy let out a sigh. "I'm beat, goodnight Techno."

"Night, nerd," Techno replied. Tommy let out a small chuckle and went off to bed. But before he could he asked, "If you could. Can you tell her I'm sorry? She's probably up anyways, that woman never manages to get enough sleep. I know you told me to give her some space. But I want to let her know I'm sorry at least."

Techno looked at the boy and nodded. Eventually, Tommy was out of sight.
