*Xiao's P.O.V"

"LUMINE!"

I did my best to move, but it was no use. No! No...I'm useless, she took the shot for me! She's hurt! Do something, DO SOMETHING!! He grinned and started to walk towards were she was laying. "Don't!" "Get away from her!" "When I'm free, I'll kill you, I'LL KILL YOU!" I was in a state of panic, my pupils were shaking, and my breathing was uneven. I was on the brink of having a mental breakdown. He grabbed her by her hair, and threw her body over his soldier. "No!" "NO!" I screamed. Then, suddenly out of nowhere, familiar faces appeared and started attacking him. It was Mr. Zhongli, with Xiangling, Xinyan, Chongyun, Ganyu, and Xingqiu, were all here. Zhongli had made a pillar which lifted Xinyan and Xiangling up, and then they hit him using a plunging attack. Ganyu had caught Lumine and was now carrying her. Everyone had continued to attack him.

"Ugh.." He started.

"I guess it's time to go..." He finally announced, then created a portal and left. Then suddenly I could move again. I struggled to get up since I was still a bit hurt, but I ran over to where Ganyu had placed lumine.

"Hey, hey...." I started, while squeezing her hand.

She opened her eyes slowly, and smiled at me.

"Oi....." she said quietly, with a weak smile. Finally I let some warm, happy tears fall. I was too tense to do so before she woke up, but it was a major relief to see that she was awake. She gave a weak thumbs up, then closed her eyes again. I looked at Mr. Zhongli worriedly, tears still falling.

"Don't worry, she's probably just exhausted." He said.

"She fought a lot today." I let out a sigh of relief, and picked her up and teleported to Bubu Pharmacy. Then I saw the sign. "Closed"

"No..no,no,no!" "They can't be closed!" I looked Lumine who was still in my arms, and then I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and kissed her forehead.

"It'll be alright, I'll find you a doctor." I said to her, quietly.

Finally, I found one doctors office that was open. It was late, which was probably why a lot of the offices were closed.

"Please, she's been hurt!" I said to one of the doctors. They rushed over to her, and they took her to another room.

I had been waiting for about three hours now, and the sun had already risen.

"You can see her now." a female doctor said.

I rushed over to her room and opened the door. She was pale, lying in bed and looking at the ceiling. I couldn't stand seeing her all bruised and bandaged up like this. "Lumine!" I said. I walked over to her and she sat up. She smiled at me and held out her arms, signaling that she wanted a hug. I hugged her, and it was a very tight hug.

"Xiao.....Xiao i c a n t b r e a t h e-"

"Oh, sorry." I said with a small giggle. She smiled at me again.

"Lumine, why are you acting so happy?" I started

"I mean, you took the shot for me..."

"Please, don't worry about it, I feel perfectly fine!" She said while slowly, but dramatically punching the air.

"They said that I'll be released tomorrow, but I can't go out and fight monsters for 2 weeks..."

"That's, good.. you'll have more time to rest." I said. Then out of nowhere someone poofed besides me. It was that annoying floating toddler that Lumine always had around her.

"Lumine!" She screamed, then pulled her into a hug. "Don't ever scare Paimon like that again!"

"Paimon was supposed to be watching you but then you ran out to help him!" She said while pointing at me.

"What's he doing here anyway!" She said. I didn't notice that me and Lumine were holding hands until she looked at them and said:

"OhHh, wAs PaImOn inTerUptInG soMethINg?"

"NO!" we both said at the same time. She just giggled sinisterly. We were both blushing furiously, but we didn't let go. Suddenly, we made eye contact, and just blushed and smiled at each other.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you guys!" Lumine said.

"Since it's going to take at least a month to rebuild Wangshu Inn, Xiangling's letting us stay in her house until it's all rebuilt!" She said.

"NO!" Paimon screamed.

"SHE'S GOING TO TRY TO EAT PAIMON!"

"No, she won't, I promise, I already agreed with her, that you aren't food." She said with a smile.

"Hmm....OKAY FINE!"

"If you say so..." She said.

"So, we're going there once you get out of the hospital, right?" I said.

"Yup!" She said.

"I'm staying here." I announced.

"Come on, you don't have too, I'm sure you have more important things to do.." She said.

"What could be more important than you?" I said.

"THIS SMOOTH MOTHER-" Paimon, luckily, had her mouth covered by Lumine right before she finished the last part. Still, I had never seen Lumine more red. She sheepishly smiled at me and said: "Thanks, Xiao."

Then suddenly Paimon dragged me outside of the room.

"Okay, s i r." she started.

"What makes you think you can date Lumine?" She said.

"Date?" I said.

"OH. MY. A R C H O N S!-" She said.

"Can you be anymore dense?"

"When you're dating someone, you hug, hold hands and kiss them and stuff,"

"What makes you think that you can date her?"She said. I had a puzzled look on my face.

"Okay, look." She said.

"Break Lumine's heart, and Paimon will kill you with her bare hands, got it?" She said. I nodded slowly. Then she smiled (although I felt it was fake) and gave me a quick pat on the back, and we entered Lumine's room again.
