Chapter 18

The Quileute boy was straight up losing his mind. He couldn't sleep which he has tried to but it would most likely end up with him waking up from a nightmare. He couldn't whatever food his father made for him which was a supervise seeing as how he always are whatever his father would make him. He couldn't keep up with his patrolling which had caused Samuel to have someone else patrol beside Jacob.

It was all because of Samantha.

As soon as he found out that he had imprinted on her, he has tried his best to make it up to her but she never returned any of his texts or calls. Which, one time, had led to him to go to Samantha's house only to have him walk out with no word from her. A week without no contact from her was a week of hell for Jacob. Her brother tried talking to her for him but just with Jacob, she ignored him as well.

"Hey it's Sammy, you know the drill."

Jacob slammed his phone down on the kitchen table which caused a crack noise to echo through his ears. He turned the phone around only to see its front screen shattered. Throwing the phone against the wall as well as shouting out a few cuss words, he took a seat and tried his best to calm himself down.

"Jacob calm down," his father said while coming out of the living room.

"I can't calm down," Jacob replied, his fists both clenched into fists.

"Give her some time son. She'll come around," Billy assured him.

"What if she doesn't," Jacob mumbled.

"You two have been through thick and thin with each other. I doubt she'll let this get in the way of your friendship." Without being said, Billy patted his sons' shoulder the wheeled himself back to the living room.

"I don't want a friendship with her," he added on.

"I want us to be something more."

"Hey Sammy, it's Jake again. Just please let me explain. I-I don't know what other way to put it for you. Call me back when you hear this."

Deleting the tenth voicemail from Jacob, Samantha ran her fingers through her hair before leaving it on there and continuing on listening to the next voicemail he's left for her. As she listened, Bella came in with her computer and took a seat on Samantha's bed.

"So I did some research-" Bella began but was interrupted by Samantha who just wanted to be left alone at the moment.

"Shouldn't you be at school?" Samantha asked her while listening to the next voicemail then deleting it afterwards.

"Our best friend has been keeping something away from us and all you could say is why am I not in school?" Bella asked her in disbelief.

"You're a senior Bella. You should be focusing on school more than whatever Jacob has been hiding from us," Samantha informed her then began to type something in her computer.

"I should ask you the same thing," Bella muttered thinking that Samantha couldn't hear her but she perfectly heard her loud and clear.

Ignoring Bella, Samantha knew what Jacob was hiding but she chose not to tell Bella. She was positive that her brother was doing everything he can to keep Jacob under control. All Samantha could say was that she hoped Jacob would be okay in the end. She wanted things to go back to the way they were.

"Just let it go Isabella!" Samantha snapped.

Samantha knew she needed to calm herself but for some reason she couldn't. She didn't know if it was because she hasn't seen Jacob for awhile or because Bella kept on pushing her limits.

Probably the second one, Sia said then shut her mouth once she noticed that she wasn't helping Samantha one bit.

However Bella on the other hand was taken back and was terrified at Samantha's outburst. Bella knew she had pushed it with Samantha. She knew that Samantha was also stressing over Jacob but Bella saw the way she would quickly react whenever she would mention his name around her. It was as if one moment she cared then the next she didn't.

Without saying a word, Bella grabbed her belongings and began to walk out Samantha's bedroom door but stopped when Samantha called her. "Wait Bella, I-I'm somethings. I d-didn't mean to snap at you like that." Bella saw how Samantha was a stuttering mess at the moment but she knew she needed to give Samantha her space. Sending her a faint smile as well as a wave, Bella walked down the stairs and headed towards outside to where her car was at.

Bella knew what she was about to do might piss off Samantha even more, that's if she finds out, but she knew she needed to do this.

Knocking on the door a few times, Bily had opened the door and was about to shut it close but Bella had stuck her foot in preventing it from closing. "I need too see him," was all she said, referring to Jacob who was fast asleep.

Billy sighed,"He's not in."

Bella knew he was lying which caused her to open the door wide open and walk inside without permission,"I'm sorry but I really need too see him."

"Bella!" Billy called get but she simply ignored him and began to walk to where she hoped Jacob would be at. Opening the door, she released a sigh of relief when she saw Jacob peacefully sleeping. Right when she was about to wake him up, someone shouting from outside caused her to look out the window to see Samantha's brother, Embrh along side them were two other guys she's seen from the last time she was with Jacob.

Without realizing what she was doing, she soon found herself outside walking to where they were at. "What did you do with him?" Bella asked as she shoved Samantha's brother back.

"Watch it!" Paul warned her.

"Easy," Samuel told them not wanting any of them to lash out and attack Bella.

"What did we do? What did he do? What did he tell you?" Paul was the hot tempered one out of all of them which was a very bad thing in this moment right now.

"Both of you calm down," Samuel told the two.

Ignoring him, Bella kept on pushing Pauls temper,"Nothing, he tells me nothing because he's scared of you!"

All they did was laugh at her except for Samuel who was on the urge to yell at them. As they laughed at her, it only made Bella's blood boil in anger. Without thinking, she raised her hand that had soon come down and slap the side of Pauls face taking everyone by surprise including Samuel.

Realizing Pauls shaking, Sam took charge and tried his best to calm him down but it didn't help one bit,"Bella get back! Paul calm down."

Bella began to take a few steps away from them but that only caused Paul to shake even more then before then morph into his grayish-white wolf form.

It was in that moment that Bella knew, she fucked up.

Turning around, Bella began to run as fast as she can back to Jacob's. Unexpected, Bella saw Jacob jump over his porch and start running to where she was at. She yelled at him to run but he ignored her then soon enough he to had phased into his russet wolf form with a loud growl escaping his throat afterwards. The two wolves had begun fighting one another, breaking a boat, that Billy had left out, in the process.

"Take Bella to Emily's place. I'll meet you guys there," Sam ordered then took off into the woods where Jacob and Paul were at.

"Guess the wolfs out of the bag," Embry said as both he and Jared jogged to where a terrified Bella was at.

Noticing the state she was in, Jared glanced at Bella then back at Embry,"You better call Sammy."

As soon as Samantha heard what had happened with Bella, she ran to her brothers where she knew Bella would be at. Samantha knew she would somehow regret not talking her car but at the moment she honestly didn't care. All she cared about was Bella and hoped that she wasn't hurt.

Jogging up her brothers porch steps, htje door had opened reversing her brother who had stepped out of the house,"Where is she?" Before he could answer, Bella's voice was heard from inside the house.

"Sammy is that you?"

A sigh of relief escaped Samantha knowing that Bella was okay. Right when she was about to walk in she looked at her brother then muttered to him,"I know what's been happening to Jacob. You're forgetting the fact that I remembered our dad use to be one of them before as well as Billy. Just promise me you'll do whatever you can to help him get through this." Nodding his head, Samantha took that as her cue to walk in.

As soon as she walked in, she noticed Bella standing right next to Jacob who sent Samantha a small smile but she did not return it. "Are you okay?" She asked Bella who nodded her head as a yes.

"Come on, I'll take you home." Without another word, Bella walked outside the door leaving Samantha with the wolves. Glancing at Paul, Samantha raised her hand and smacked the of his head when he was about to take a bite from his muffin that he had gotten front the basket that was full of them. All the guys, except for Jacob who just simply snickered, laughed however Paul didn't like it one bit.

"You know what that was for," She informed him when she saw that he was about to say something.

Grabbing Jacob's hand, who was taken back by the small action, she pulled him to her brothers living room,"We need to talk just not here. You think you can come by my place tonight at seven?" She asked him who quickly nodded his head.

Without said, she walked outside and saw Bella leaning against a tree. "Where's your car?" She asked her.

Should of brought your car, Sia told her.

"How do you feel about walking in the woods?"

"Care to tell me why the hell you slapped Paul?" Samantha asked as she helped Bella climb over a tree that had blocked their way.

"I didn't really think he would react the way he did," Bella told her, not mentioning the fact that he phased into an enormous werewolf.

"He's a hot head. You don't go around and slap a hot head without a reason," Samantha pointed out. Before Bella could say anything, Samantha pulled Bella behind her and began to look around on full alert.

"Somethings not right," Samantha said but it was more to herself.

Bella gripped Samantha's arm a habit she produced when she started hanging around Samantha. Samantha took a step forward, causing Bella to do the same. A breeze rushed through both Bella's and Samantha's face. "You've got to be kidding me," Samantha groaned already knowing who it was by their scent that lingered through her nose. Right when Bella was about to ask Samantha what, their a few feet away from them stood someone who both Samantha as well as Bella knew very well.

"How lovely to see you here Bella?" The woman smirked which caused Bella to stay behind Samantha as if she was her personal shield.

"Victoria."

So Victoria aka the second baddest bitch is back lol Half of this book was basically from Bella's point of view but it turned out to be decent. Currently happy right now because I got my Starbae *Starbucks* with me rn xx
