Lo'ak pov:
I was in the middle of sleeping until Neteyam woke me up. "Lo'ak get up we are going to be late." Five more minutes." No, come on, little bro, get up. we can't be late to our training because of your lazy ass." Let me sleep in a little longer." I said to Neteyam tiredley. He then sighed, and it became silent until he said something that made me jump up. "Tatiana is going to be there." Neteyam said. I then jumped off of my mat frantically, getting ready and running to the entrance of our marui pod until I stopped turning to my siblings. "Come on guys, let's go hurry up I - I mean, WE can't keep Tatiana waiting, cmon let's go!!" I said, then I rushed out our marui pod. "Lo'ak get back here!" I heard Neteyam say, but I ignored him, wanting to get to Tatiana faster. I quickly went to the docks where we were supposed to meet the chief kids. Once I made it to the docks, my siblings followed suit, hearing them snicker from behind me, I saw the metkayina kids talking and chilling on the docks until they looked at me with confused faces. "Hey, sorry I'm late." They just looked at each other confused until Tatiana spoke. "Uh, Lo'ak, what are you talking about? Your training doesn't even start, yet it's almost time for us to go eat breakfast with the rest of the village, though." She said to me. "What, b-but Neteyam said that - NETEYAM! You tricked me!" It was the only way to get your ass up, bro." Neteyam said laughing. "How did you trick him, Neteyam?" Tatiana asked. I blushed a bit and looked at Neteyam, sending him a look. My siblings just laughed and snickered. "Well, all I said was that we were going to be late for training, but when he didn't wake up, all I did was say that you were going to be there, and he got up quickly, trying to hurry to get ready and was rushing us to leave." I blushed from embaracement as Tatiana giggled a little." Isn't time for breakfast." I said in an annoyed and embarrassed tone. "Yes, it is. cmon, let's go." Tsireya said. We all then headed to where everyone was eating at and grabbed our food and sat down. My siblings still kept teasing me as Tatiana just kept giggling at my embarrassed state. That was until some random guy walked up to us, we all stopped talking and looked up at him. "Uh hey Tatiana." Uh hi.. is there anything you need?" Uh yeah, I was wondering if maybe you would want to go out sometime." Uh, no, sorry, I kinda just broke up with my boyfriend yesterday. Sorry." The guy just sighed and turned back and walked away. "Well, what was that about?" Kiri asked. Ao'noung just rolled his eyes. "This happens all the time." What do you mean." What he means is that everything I break up with my boyfriend or if he isn't around guys start trying to get with Tatiana." Dang." That must be annoying." It is." Tatiana said. Then another guy started to come up to us, but he didn't look as shy as the first one. "Hey Tatiana, want to hang out with me tonight?" The guy said. "No, sorry, I'm busy." With what?" Uh, with teaching the new commers our ways." The guy just gave me and my siblings a dirty look, then walked away. "Well, that happened." Tsireya said. "Yeah.. is that going to happen often?" Well, it depends on how many guys ask me out." Can we please not talk about this while some people are trying to eat." Ao'noung said, annoyed. We all then continued to finish eating our breakfast until we all finished. A fee minutes later, We were all on the beach learning our lesson for the day until 2 guys came up to us. I just roll my eyes, getting annoyed even more now.

Tatiana pov:
2 boys came up to me as me and my older siblings, and I just knew what they wanted. I groaned and rolled my eyes. "What do you both need, guys?" Well, we were wondering if you wanted to go on a date with either one of us." Um.."  Before I could answer, my siblings spoke up. "Soory, but she is in the middle of teaching the new commers our ways so she will be too busy for that." Tsireya said. "Yeah, so you better not bother her again." Ao'noung said in a pissed off tone. "Alright, fine, whatever, let's go." they then both walked away from us so we could continue the lesson. "Alright, let's continue." I told them. A few minutes into the lesson and Ao'noung left because he was bored and didn't want to do this. So it was just me, Tsireya, Roxto, and the sully kids. We were still practicing how to breathe since they still needed work on it adspeacelly Lo'ak sometimes I just think he is pretending not to know how to breathe because at first he is doing well but then a few seconds later he needs help again. "Lo'ak for the last time you need to breathe from here, not here." I said as I tried not to sound annoyed with him right now. I looked up at him and saw that he was looking back at me into my eyes. I won't lie. It looked like he was staring into my soul right now, and it felt a bit weird. "Sorry.." He said, said in a bit of a low, raspy voice that just made me a bit flustered a little. And the worst part is I didn't even try to hide it. It was just shown by my ears being flattened a bit and a huge blush showing up on my cheeks. He then notices and smirks a bit. He leaned in. Bit and whispered to me. "Do I make you nervous, Tati?" He then backed away from me, keeping eye contact with me as I just stared at him a bit shocked and a tiny bit of awe in my eyes. It was like that for a while, until someone cleared their throat, u looked over and saw Tsireya giving me a look while everyone else snickered, and kiri rolled her eyes. I cleared my throat and looked down in embarrassment. "How about we teach you to ride ilu." Tsireya said. "Yes, that's a good idea. I'm gonna go get Ao'noung." I quickly got up and went to find Ao'noung. After I found him I saw him with his friends, I rolled my eyes and walked over to him and his dumb friends. "Ao'noung!" Ao'noung head turned to me as I stopped in front of him and his friends. "What is it Tatiana, can't you see I'm hanging with my friends." Yes, but I don't care. Now come on, we have to teach the sullys to ride an ilu." I'm not gonna teach, thoughs freaks." Ao'noung.. don't call them a freak. Can you just be civil with them for one day or atheist one lesson." Fine, I'll come, but I'm not gonna make a promise on being civil with them." At least you finally gonna help teach the lessons now come on." I said as I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the beach. But then I stopped when I noticed his friends following us. "Uh, don't you guys have somewhere else to be?" I told them. They just looked at me and snickered. "Why you don't want us there? What if we want to help." First of all, no, I don't want you there. Second, you will just destract my brother and the sullys by teasing them if they get something wrong." I told them. " With then, you are absolutely right. And plus Ao'noung wants us there, right Ao'noung?"  We looked at Ao'noung, waiting for his answer. "Come on, Tati, it's not gonna be that bad. Let them come." But Ao'-" You're just being over dramatic Tati, it'll be fine ok let's just go." He then let go of my hand and walked past me. "Yeah 'tati'" one of his friends said mockingly as they all walked by laughing. I just groaned and walked with them where the others were.

Everyone got in the water that reached up to our waist. Ao'noung then made this throaty clicking noise, and some ilus started to show up swimming around Ao'noung, Tsireya, and me. Ao'noung faced the sullys with his arms out. "This is ilu. If you want to live her, you have to ride." He says, looking at the sullys. "We will break off into groups," Tsireya said. I nodded and faced the sullys. "You guys can choose who you want as your teacher, but 2 people will have to go with one of us." I told them. A few seconds later, I saw Lo'ak beside me, kiri, and tuk went with Tsireya and Neteyam with Ao'noung.
Once we were all in our groups, I called an ilu over for Lo'ak and held him still. "Climb on." I told him. He then did as I said and started to adjust a bit to get comfortable. "You must stay calm when you bond with an ilu, ilus bonds are not like an ikrans, ilus don't bond with one rider once they bond." I said in a calming voice. "Now make the bond gently." I said. He then did as he was told. He grabbed his braid and slowly made the bond.Tsaheylu. "That is tsaheylu. Feel her breath. Feel her heartbeat." He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. "Hold here." I grabbed his hand and brought it to the handle of the saddle. He then looked at me in the eyes. "Look at his legs." One of  Ao'noungs friends said. "Better hang on forest boy." Another one of his friends said. "Go." I told him. He then started to ride the ilu and went underwater, we all looked underwater to see how he was doing, but the next second, after he went underwater, he fell off his ilu and came back to the surface. His pissed ilu came up and slashed him in the face and swam to me. Ao'noung and his friends laughed at Lo'ak as me and Tsireya giggled at him. But when he came back, swimming towards me, I quickly tried to hide my giggling. "You alright, forest boy!" Ao noungs friends said. "Come, try again." Lo'ak kept trying and trying to ride an ilu, but he kept failing until practice was over. We all then started to head home, but I felt bad for Lo'ak, so I quickly caught up with him while he was walking with his siblings. "Hey, loak!" I called out. Him and his siblings stopped and looked at me. I then came up to then. "Hey, do you mind if I borrow Lo'ak real quick?" Kiri and Neteyam looked at each other, then back at me, Neteyam just smirked and nodded. I was confused why he smirked, but I just brushed it off. And grabbed Lo'aks hand. "Thank you, I promise it won't take long." I then dragged Lo'ak with me somewhere on the beach. "So what did you want to talk to me about?" He asked me. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry about practice today." You mean when I kept failing over and over again?" Yeah, but you don't have to be upset. Not everyone gets it on the first try. It takes time. You just need some practice, that's all. We will keep practicing tomorrow, alright." He just looked at me with that look again that got me a bit on edge the first time. I was about to say something else until someone called my name. J looked over and saw that it was my brother with his friends behind him. I just sighed and turned back to lo'ak. "I must leave now, bye Lo'ak." Uh, b-bye." He said. I was about to leave until I felt something holding me back, I looked down and saw my hand still attached to his. I didn't even realize that I was still holding his hand, but he seemed to notice and blush a bit. I noticed and blushed a little bit, too. We just looked at each other in the eyes until Ao'noung shouted at me. "TATIANA. LET'S GO. NOW!" Ao'noung yelled. I then let go of lo'aks hand and back away a bit still looking at him. "Bye Lo'ak.." ithen turned away and quickly ran to my brothers side, he then put his arm around my shoulder as he angrily looked at Lo'ak with a warning look as I kept my head down a bit. We then walked away with Ao'noungs friends right behind us.

Lo'ak pov:
After she left, I went to my family's marui pod. Once I made it and walked in, everyone looked at me. "Where the heck were you, boy?" Jake said. Before I could say anything, Neteyam spoke. "He was with the chiefs  youngest daughter." He said with a smirk. My parents then looked at me. "IS that true?" Neytiri asked. "Yes, it is true. She just wanted to speak to me about something." OH no. What did you do now, boy?" Jake asked. "I didn't do anything, sir. She just wanted to talk about today's training." OK, what about your training?" About me.. failing to ride the ilu. She said that we can try again tomorrow since we will be practicing to ride the ilu again anyway." Alright then. Now come one, it's time to eat." Yes, sir." I told him. I then sat down and started to eat with my family and talk about our day. We all then went to sleep. I went to sleep with a bit of a smile on my face just thinking about Tati and how to impress her tomorrow before some other guy does. I really wanted to try and learn to ride an ilu just to impress her a little bit.
