Author's POV-

Y/N woke up, with the morning sun shining through the window, lighting up the room. She realized she was still at Zane's house, cuddling on the couch. Zane was still asleep, by the looks of it.

Y/N kissed him on the cheek softly, and cuddled back up into his arms.

Zane's eyes fluttered open. "Morning, Y/N~" He purred.

"Good morning, Zaney~" Y/N giggles. "How did you sleep?"

Zane yawns. "I slept good, what about you?"

"I slept great, thanks." She smiled. He smiled back.

"What time is it?" Y/N asks.

"Hm.." Zane checks his phone, the light from the screen burns his eyes. "10:57."

Y/N rubs her eyes. "Okay, so we should leave for the park at 12:00."

"Yeah. Do you know if everyone else is packed?" Zane asks.

"Garroth and Laurence are, but I don't know about Katelyn." Y/N replies.

"Oh, and Aph and Aaron too." He adds.

"Yes, right! Thanks, Zane!" She smiles.

He smiles back.

Your POV-

I text Aphmau. Since she lives with Katelyn, and her and Aaron are super close, Aph can tell the other two about it. I reminded her about the amusement park. She confirms that her, Aaron and Katelyn are packed. We discuss a time we should meet up at my place. 11:30, so we can pack up our stuff into Zane's car and leave the house by 12:00. Not that it will take us 30 minutes to put bags into the trunk, or anything.

"So? What time? What house? Are they packed?" Zane asks, his hands on my shoulders gently.

"11:30, at my-- our house." I giggle.

"O-Oh! I forgot about that! Our house! Yeah!" He laughs.

"You're so silly, Zane~" I hug him.

He hugs back.

"So, should we head over to our house now?" He asks.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go!" I hold his hand gently. He holds mine. We walk over to my house.

Aphmau, Aaron, Katelyn, Garroth and Laurence show up not too long after Zane and I. We pack all our stuff into the trunk of Zane's car, and head inside. Zane and I look around. "Welcome home," I whisper to him. He blushes.

"So, should we leave now? It's 11:40. Better safe than sorry." Aphmau states.

"True, let's go! Who in who's car?" Katelyn asks.

"Well, Zane's car won't fit all of us, so I can take Laurence, Aphmau and Aaron, while Zane can take Y/N and Katelyn?" Garroth suggests.

"Sounds good to me," Zane implies. I nod.

"Great! Let's get the show on the road, then!" Laurence smiles.

We hop into our cars, and start driving.

After ten minutes of driving, Katelyn speaks up.

"So, why aren't you two dating?"

My face immediately heated up. Zane's face was bright red.

"Well, uh.." I started, but lost my voice.

"We um.." Zane blinks.

"It's not really... your business, okay..?" I tell her.

"Oh. Okay. You should see the looks on your faces!" Katelyn laughs, only making Zane and I blush deeper.

"How much longer...?" I whine.

"Five minutes," Zane replies.

"Yay.." I smile a little, not wanting to be in here with Katelyn teasing us anymore.

We pull up at the amusement park; it was huge! A giant park complete with games, rides, shops, food and roller-coasters!

"Wow! This place looks amazing!" We get out of the car. I examine the park further. There were booths selling sweets, cotton candy, chips, water, hot dogs, corn dogs and soft drinks, and there were also prize booths!

Garroth's car pulls up into a parking space beside our car.

Garroth, Laurence, Aphmau and Aaron get out of their car, too.

"I know! It's great!" Garroth announces.

"You've been here?" Katelyn asks.

"Yeah, Zane, Vylad and I used to come here all the time as kids!" He smiles.

"Yeah, we did. This place is pretty fun." Zane smiles a little. He still wasn't wearing his mask, that was still around my neck.

"Cool! What are we waiting for?" Aphmau exclaims.

"Well, we can leave the blankets and stuff in the trunk, we won't need then until later. I have a special surprise for all of you." Zane smirks. "And I don't think anyone's gonna need food until later. It's only just after breakfast, so we should be okay for another little while. If anyone gets hungry just head back to the cars, and meet us back at the big ferris wheel." He points to a huge ferris wheel in the center of the park, in the distance. "Got all that?"

"Yes, sir!" We all say in unison, and salute. We all laugh.

"You REALLY came prepared, Zane!" Aaron looks shocked.

"Y/N helped, Aaron. Don't give me all the credit." Zane implies.

I smile.

"Thanks for planning all of thus, Zane!" Aphmau hugs him. He hesitantly hugs her back.

"U-um.. you're welcome, I guess...?" He looks down at her.

They pull away. Everyone smiles.

"Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's go have fun!" Katelyn announces, running towards the park. She gives the ticket man her ticket, and runs strait in.

"Well, that was fast." Laurence laughs.

"Oh well. Laurence, come on!" Garroth grabs the brunette's hand, making him blush, and dashes into the park, giving the ticket man their tickets.

"No time to waste! Let's go, guys!" Aphmau exclaims, chasing after the two boys, Aaron following not too far behind her. Zane and I follow the two.

"They're acting like kids at a candy store!" I giggle.

"That's what I was thinking!" Zane chuckles.

"You aren't like what they say about you at all, Zane." I tell him.

"I... I'm not..?"

"No. Not at all, actually."

"What did they say I was like..?" Zane asks.

"They said you were shy, quiet, and you were always alone. They said you never had any care in the world for others." I explain.

"I-I... you... You've changed me, Y/N. I'm grateful for that. Thank you." He smiles.

I smile back. "I had no idea.. You were always so cheerful around me and your friends, I thought you were always like that."

"No, I wasn't, actually.."

"Hey! Zane! Y/N! What's holding you two lovebirds up? Come on! There's rides to ride! Games to win!" Katelyn yells. A few people turn their eyes to us. We both blush.

"Katelyn! Stop yelling! We're coming!" I yell back.

Zane and I quickly catch up to the group. They had stopped infront of an artist's canvas. There was a note on the canvas that read; 'On break'.

"Hey, Aphmau, do you remember when we went on a date here back in high school?" Garroth asks.

"U-Um.." Aphmau blushes.

"You what?!" Aaron and Laurence yell.

"Noth--" Aphmau started.

"WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME?!" Laurence screams.

People start staring again.

"YOU WENT ON A DATE WITH HIM?!" Aaron yells.

Garroth puts his hands on his hips. "Yeah, we did! Got a problem with that?!"

Aphmau blushes deeply and puts her hands behind her back. She rocks back and forth on her feet, with her lips pursed.

"Guys, shut up! That was in the past, and--" Katelyn yelled over all of them.

Zane and I just watched.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT THIS!" Aaron and Laurence yelled in unison.

I quickly and quietly grab Zane's hand and pull him away from the group, not wanting to be even more embarrassed by the five.

I pull him over to the huge ferris wheel. "Can we ride the ferris wheel?" I ask Zane.

Zane's POV

Without even thinking, I quickly smiled and replied: "Sure, Y/N."

She smiled warmly at me.

We get in line. The small group in the line we were in was next up. I look up at the structure, admiring
it's features. Then I realized how tall it was. It had to be over 300 meters tall. It was HUGE. I broke out into a cold sweat, as the wheel started slowing down. One by one, people got off the ride. Finally, it was our turn.

"Come on, Zane!" Y/N said cheerfully.

I froze.

"Zane?"

"Zane!"

She shook me out of my trance.

"You've been out, staring at the ferris wheel for five minutes! I let the people behind us go first! What happened?!" Y/N exclaimed.

"Oh, n-nothing!" I nervously scratch the back of my neck.

"There's something." She pushes.

"Oh, you know me so well..." I sigh. "Let's just go on the ride."

"Yay!" Y/N squeals.

We get on the ride, last, of course. We start going up. And up. And up. I start sweating again. I tighten my seatbelt, and grip onto the seat. I bite my lip. I won't. look. down.

"Zane, are you sure you're okay? You look super tense..." Y/N holds onto my arm.

"I-I'M AFRAID O-OF H-H-HEIGHTS!!" I yell. Probably so loud, the entire park heard me.

Y/N's eyes widen. "What?! Why didn't you tell me?! We didn't have to do this if you didn't want to!" She hugs me, and rubs my back gently with her hand.

I smile a little. "S-Sorry..."

"Shh, it's okay." She soothes. "It's okay..." (A/N: You'll see why these are bold in the future ~^.^~)

"Thank you, Y/N.." I whisper.

Her touch is so gentle. Her voice is so soothing and beautiful. The warmth of her body is calming. Her smile is contagious.

"It's alright, Zane."

The ride starts slowing down, as people start to get off. Soon enough, it was our turn to get off, too.

The rest of the group stands at the base of the ferris wheel, waiting for us. "It looks like they've resolved their conflict," I mutter to Y/N.

She giggles. I smile, her laugh repeating over and over in my head.

"Hey, guys, sorry about before. It was super childish of us to yell at eachother like that." Aphmau looks to the ground. Aaron puts a hand on her back.

"Yeah, we're all really sorry about that." Katelyn apologizes.

"I shouldn't have brought it up." Garroth frowns.

"I still can't believe you never t--" Garroth elbows Laurence in the gut. "YEOWCH! I mean, I still am the most sorry person ever..!" He corrects. He laughs it off nervously.
"Hey, guys, it's alright. We had fun." Y/N smiles. "Now let's go play some games!"

¤♡¤♡¤♡¤

It's starting to get late already. The sun is going down. We've had snacks, played games, won prizes, gone on some rides, and a few roller coasters. I decided it was time to get prepared. "Hey, guys?" I ask.

"Yeah?" Everyone says in unison.

"I think we should head back to our cars and get some things. It's and most time for the surprise. About another hour or so." I explain.

"Yeah, good point. If you want to 'set up' for this 'surprise-thing', we should start now. This place is pretty busy." Aaron implies.

"Exactly. Let's go get some stuff from my car and set up."

We get back to the cars, and grab some water and blankets. Another extra few hoodies, too, just in case.

"Who wants popcorn?" Y/N asks.

'Perfect,' I think to myself.

"Me!" Everyone yells.

"Let's go get some, then! Katelyn, Aphmau, Laurence, Aaron, come with me!" Y/N smiles, and the five walk off.

"Just meet us at the big grass field!" I shout over at them.

"Got it!" Y/N shouts back.

"Garroth, can you help me carry this stuff to the field?" I ask.

"Sure, baby brother! After you!" Garroth replies cheerfully.

"Great. Follow me!" I lead Garroth to a huge grass field, that was completely empty of people. I was surprised. "Just set the stuff down there, and help me lay out these three blankets." I order.

"Got it." Garroth sets the water bottles and hoodies down, along with another four blankets we brought. I brought four, he brought three. We lay out the three blankets smoothly over the soft grass. The others start heading back with four bags of popcorn. Three large and one small. Katelyn was holding the small, Laurence, Aaron, Aphmau and Y/N holding the large ones.

Nobody showed up at the field, either. I was expecting there would be close-to-no spots left. It was now almost completely dark, a few stars were out, along with the rising moon. It was a bright moon tonight, so we had some lights, along with flashlights and our phones for extra light. they set the popcorn down, each on different blankets, except the small was with one of the large popcorns on one of the blankets. This was great! My plan was coming along nicely. Aphmau sat down on the blanket with the two bags of popcorn on it, with Aaron sitting down to her right, and Katelyn on her left. Garroth and Laurence sat on one of the blankets, and Y/N sat down on the last blanket. I sat down beside her.

I checked the time on my phone; 11:59 PM. (Or 23:59, 24-hour clock)

I count down from ten in my head. I get to three.

"Three,"

"Two,"

"One!"

There was a bang. A beam of light shot up from the ground and into the air, exploding into beautiful colors across the sky.

This is what I had planned for.

Fireworks.

Everyone 'ooh'ed and 'ahh'ed. More fireworks shot up, into the sky. We were watching a huge firework show. Nobody else was around. Just us seven. I smiled. It worked. I had an amazing day with the girl of my dreams. Now we get to watch fireworks together. I look down at her. she has a piece of popcorn in her hand. I open my mouth. Sshe feeds the popcorn to me. I blush. Luckily it was too dark to notice. I feed a piece of popcorn to her. We laugh.

"This is beautiful!" Laurence exclaims.

"So pretty!" Garroth chimes in.

"This is the best!" Aaron and Aphmau say together. They laugh.

"This is like my dream.." Katelyn eats a piece of popcorn, not taking
her eyes of the night sky.

"Thank you, Zane!" Everyone says.

"You're welcome, everyone. Glad we had a great day." I smile.

"Hey, Zane?" Y/N asks. I look down at her.

My scarf was around her neck.

"You look good without this scarf." She smiles. I touch my face. I've worn that for so many years... it feels weird not wearing it for this long. I haven't worn it for two days.

"Heh," I smile back.

"You're pretty." She pokes my nose. I blush.

"T-Thank you..." I stutter.

I stare into her eyes. She returns my gaze. She gives me a light peck on my lips. I blush deeper. And I kiss her back.

"You're beautiful, Y/N." I smile. She smiles back. "Don't ever forget that."

So that's all I have for you lovely readers for now! Sorry for the long wait! I'll try and post at least once a week. Emphasis on TRY. There's a bit of fluff for ya. Also, this will be ending at 20 chapters. But don't panic! (at the disco. :P) I'm making a sequel! And possibly another one after that?? We'll see. School's almost out, and that means I'll have tons of time to write! This is an extra long chapter, too! As sort of an apology chapter thingy.
