Introcuction

Yuta laughed as Sicheng faced the camera towards him, taking a picture of the red-haired Japanese boy. Sicheng showed him the picture. He had his lollipop dangling out of his mouth, and he was sitting on the swing, in the park, with his best friend. As if life could get better than this.

Sicheng knows he is in love. In love with the laugh, the smile, the attidute. Even his hair.

And so does Yuta.

Sicheng and Yuta have been best friends since grade school. And they have kept it strong through out the years, though at the same time facing problems. Like in grade eight when Yuta was in a bad mood, he took Sicheng's apple juice, and poured it all on the ground. Then he grabbed his sandwich and ripped it apart. THEN he grabbed his hat and threw it in the trash.  Like Sicheng was happy with that. So he ignored Yuta for the rest of the week and swore to himself he wasnt friends with him anymore. Until one day, when Yuta came up to him crying, and asked for a hug. Of course Sicheng couldnt resist, and so he went back to being best friends with Yuta.

'Um, its getting a little late.' Sicheng worried.

'what time is it?'

'10:57' Sicheng responed, looking at his phone.

'Oh my gosh,, we have plenty of time.'

'Are you sure?'

'Yeah, lets just stay for a little bit more.'

'Okay, if you say so.' Sicheng said with a shrug.

Yuta went back to being on his phone, but was taking photos of Sicheng the entire time, without hi noticing.

But little did Yuta know, he could see him taking pictures of him, and he liked it. He loves how obsessed Yuta is over him, and he really hopes that they could become something oneday.

But little did he know, it was his last day.

An hour passed.

'Um, i think we should leave.' Yuta suggested.

'Yeah, lets go. It is starting to get really late.'

They got off the swings, and hopped into Sichengs car.

While he started the car, and drove out of the parking lot, Yuta started showing Sicheng some pictures that he took of him.

'You were taking pictures of me the entire time?' Sicheng asked, pretending to be all flustered.

'Yeahhh' Yuta said with a smirk.

'Thats alot. But do you mind sending them to-'

Suddenly a car came zooming towards them. Sicheng swerved the car, to dodge the speeding truck.

But that only got them into something worse.

They have rolled off a small cliff, sending them tumbling for who knows how long.

They finally stopped rolling and Yuta got out of the car, to see that there are some sparks building up in the rear part. Sicheng needs to get out.

'Hey, Cheng, get out!!'

He only heard a groan.

Fuck.

Yuta grabbed Sichengs hand, and pulled him out of the car.

Only to find that he was stabbed in the chest with a glass shard from the broken window.

He picked Sicheng up and moved him far away from the car, which looked like it was about to explode. He suddenly felt a sharp pain in his leg, but he needs to worry about Sicheng first. He pat down his legs looking for his phone, but luckily it was in his jacket pocket. He quickly dialed 911, while holding the slowly dying Sicheng.

After two minutes, he heard the wailing sirens coming his way. He let out a big sigh of relief, while looking at Sicheng. He is still alive, but passed out.

The ablulance came quickly into the valley they were in, and took out a stretcher to put Sicheng in.

'wait!' Yuta yelled after the staff.

'Can i kiss him?' He whimpered, his eyes filling with tears.

The staff nodded, and Yuta quickly walked over, and pressed his lips against the younger's lips.

The staff walked away with the stretcher and put him in the ambulance.

Yuta suddenly realized that he could be dead already.

He called his brother, to come pick him up from the crash.

-A day later-

Yuta was supposed to visit Sicheng in the hospital. Apparently he is in a horrible state, he had to have four -hundred and seventy stitches in his chest, along with surgery.

He couldnt sleep all night, he was crying, and he was thinking about how he could be dying the moment he is laying there.

after school

Yuta was extrmely anxious to meet Sicheng at the hospital, as he and his mother were leaving right now. His legs were shaking, his fingers were jittering, and he felt like he was going to throw up. What if he lost his memory or something? what if he dies the moment he gets there?

As he and his mom pull up to the hospital parking lot, he instantly opened the door and walked in without her. She isnt coming in with him, she doesnt want to cause any extra stress.

It felt like hours waiting to see his best friend.

until it turned into hours.

Three hours passed.

Five hours passed.

He walked up to the front desk, and asked what was taking so long.

'Um, excuse me sir, im supposed to be seeing Dong Sicheng, a patient, why is it taking so long?'

'I have no idea, but i will go check to see if they can have you in there if it has been that long.'

Yuta waited another good ten minutes, until the manager walked out of the hallway.

That is when Yutas life changed forever.

The manager took Yutas hand and sat him down.

'Mr. Yuta, i am so sorry to say, but your friend has passed away. A few hours ago.'

Yutas lungs suddenly stopped.

'No-he didnt.'

'Sir, im so sorry, but he did.'

Yuta suddenly felt anger rise up into him. Sicheng is not dead.

'He is not dead!' He half yelled.

'Now, i will need you to step out and calm yourself down.'

'HE IS NOT DEAD YOU LYING BASTARD!' Yuta yelled in front of the entire waiting room, falling onto his knees, an having a breakdown. 'HE IS NOT DEAD! HE IS NOT DEAD! HE IS NOT DEAD!' He yelled, bursting into tears, and fisting the floor. Security had to escort him out, but he fought and fought them. The security guards won, sitting him down on the bench right outside the hospital, calling his mother to pick him up.

He cried all the way home.
