Ezra's POV
I got a text from Aria to meet me at the brew right away and I was sure she'd be telling me not to get married. I raced down the steps to find Aria sitting at a table for a change, but she wasn't alone. She had two kids with her. Her kids. My kids. Our kids.
"Daddy!" Hope squealed, running to me and wrapping her arms around my legs.
Aria gave me a small smirk in the distance. I bent down and Hope wrapped her arms around my neck.
"I love you, Daddy" She says
"I love you too, Hope Marie"
She lets go of me and steps back. "You know my middle name. The only one who knows my middle name is Mommy and Mason. She only uses it when she's really mad"
Hope giggles and Mason runs up to me.
They were such happy six year olds. Aria had raised them right.
"Do you know my full name?" Mason asks me and I nodded.
"It's Mason Ezra Fitz" I say and he laughs.
"Mommy said that's your name too" Mason tells me.
"Yes it is" I pick him up and he wraps his arms around me. "I missed you guys"
They lead me back to the table where Aria is sitting. She avoids eye contact with me but stutters a small word "Surprise"
"Okay so Momma's got to go" She says, getting up and grabbing her purse off the floor.
"Are you sure you have to leave?" I question going to grab her arm.
"I have to get back to work. I'm almost finished my book" She says
I didn't know she was writing a book.
"Is it okay if Daddy drops you off later?" She asks the twins and they nod.
"I'll see you later my love bugs" She plants a kiss on their cheeks. "Bye Ezra"
I watch her until she exits the brew.
"So do you guys want cupcakes?" I ask and they nod smiling.
I get them both a chocolate cupcake and they start eating right away, getting it all over their faces.
"Chocolates my favorite" Mason giggles.
"Hey can I ask you guys a question?
They both set their cupcakes down.
"Yeah" Mason says.
"Do you know what your Mommy's book is about?" I question.
Hope chimes in this time. "She said it's a love story. She said we don't really understand love but she says its roantic"
"Romantic?" I ask
"Yep that's the word" She takes another bite of her cupcake. "She said it's about forbidden love, but we don't really know what that means yet"
