Back to School

"Hermione has the potions to heal you, Luna." he said, getting up and dusting himself off. "Why can't you use your wand to heal her? Why can't you just--" "Neville, I can't, that kind of wound...it's...it's too deep. But I promise Hermione can heal it in no time, we just need to get to her." I nodded. I turned to Luna who was looking up at me. She gave me a faint smile and than mouthed the words, "Thank you". The slash on her stomach did look very deep. What can I do....? I thought. I looked around I had nothing, except the clothes on my back....the clothes on my back! I ripped a piece of my shirt off. "This might hurt a bit." I wrapped the shirt around the gash until in was out of sight.

"We've got to get going. We can't apparate to Hogwarts, 'cause, well you know." shrugged Harry. "Then how are we going to get there?" There was a long silence , until Luna broke it, "We fly of course."

"She's mad, I call it, she's bloody crazy." said Harry throwing his arms into the air. Luna said nothing and turned to me. "I have thestrals, we need to go to my house." I nodded, slowly turning my head to Harry, who was shaking his. "Shut up would you, she's helping us." Luna gave me a smug look that and said something I would have never have thought to come out of her mouth, "Yeah Harry, shut up."

Luna's house, if you would call it that, looked like a mangled up mess. But that didn't stop her from inviting us in for a cup of tea, "Not to be rude Luna...but we're in a hurry." I said, twiddling my thumbs. She nodded and led us to the back. The whining and hove clattering of the thestrals was a sound from the past. The first time I met Luna, we were being carried by one. I remember it well, she reassured Harry and I that we were just as sane as her (for seeing the thestrals). "Told you I'm not crazy."

The wind blew through my hair as we pasted over the blue waters leading to the school. Luna, only a few feet away from me, was leading us. Hogwarts soon appeared, memories soon flooded my brain. So many adventures and dangerous risks, adrenaline pumped through our bodies like a normal happening. Back to school. I thought, back to school.

Professor Mcgonagall was there at the door frantically ringing her hands. "You're here! You're here!" she said rushing us inside. "Go to Madame Pomfrey's please..." she quivered as we rushed up the staircase. "Harry!" said a voice as we crossed the threshold into the hospital wing. Hermione came running to us, embracing Harry...as always. "Where's Ginny?" he said. "Come with me." she replied, motioning us to follow her. Ginny's lifeless body laid on the first bed to the right, surrounded by Ron, Hermione, George and Cho. I slowly walked up to the end of the bed. "Is she...d-dead?" There was a long pause until Hermione spoke, "No, well...no she isn't. All we know is that she's been in a coma state for the past seven hours." I nodded and patted Ron's shoulder. Just behind me there was a loud thud. I spun around to see Luna on the floor, holding her stomach. Oh god, oh please no I thought, her injury!
